2.2.1.9 hangs at 10% later followed by a message saying 'Unable to initiate database' Glen

Hi This is a general question , dose any one know if p2atc works with flight1 g1000 hardware ? The hardware is made by emuteq . What I am trying to understand is that if I have radio hardware (Saitek) will I be changing frequencies in the hardware or will I have to use p2atc GUI ? If the hardware work with p2atc ; will the change be reflected on its GUI . Any help is appreciated.

Is there anyway to force the correct flight levels in New Zealand ? North = odds and South = evens

Now crashing almost immediately after pressing "connect". Interestingly, the sim seems to crash then P2ATC. No crash in sim unless open P2ATC so appears linked. Have X-plane 10,11 and P3D but seems to only happen in X-plane versions consistently. Any similar reports and/or ideas? Haven't removed all plugins.. may try that next. Have Fly with LUA, Gizmodo, SkyMaxx, X-camera, and X-life. Hi guys, has anyone experienced AI not showing up on P2A map when trying to run P2A and fscloud together. If I remove the fscloud plugin out of XP11 , planes reappear on the map again. D.

Hello, Yesterday I wanted to fly VFR from Chicago. But I accidentally left the box for start with engines running unchecked. So there I was dead on the runway. I started the engines and called the tower. They told me to contact ground and request permission to taxi. I couldn't seem to find a way to just take off. I'm trying to get my feet wet with this new program by flying VFR and having my problems. It could be me but it seems that there are two conflicting IF statements in the program - IF the user has just started the motor, contact ground - and IF the user is at the runway, request takeoff. Hi everyone, I have the following problem with speech recognition. I don't know if it's a bug, but it seems so. Almost all commands are understood without a problem, but there is a structural misunderstanding with a few (but important) phrases. When I practice the approach phrases in Grammar Help it returns as follows: "KLM 146 is missed approach request vectors for ILS to runway three five left" becomes: "KLM 146 is missed approach request vectors to four ILS two runway three five left" The same goes for the RNAV approach. I tried to fly from a small airport and was not able to file a flight plan because the airport was not listed in the database. I attempted to use a user defined waypoint as my departure point, since the airport was not listed, but received a message, "Departure point must be an airport." Is there any way to make it possible to fly VFR from a small airport that is not in the database? Specifically I attempted to fly from J & L Aviation near Ripon, WI, USA to Ephraim Gibraltar near Fish Creek, WI neither of which was listed. Also the flight included a transition through Green Bay Charlie airspace, and I was not able to request a transition. All of these would be great …

I think I know the answer to this after poking around and reading through the manual but it never hurts to ask. ATC seems to assign a route based on the shortest distance from A to B. At big airports like CYYZ this leads to some problems sending me almost anywhere including diagonally using high speed exits of active runways instead of the proper paths used at the airport. For example, planes would never be assigned to use Alpha Kilo, Alpha, Alpha Lima, Bravo One, Sierra, Echo blah blah blah to get from Terminal 1 to runway 15R. Bravo One is a high speed exit for Runway 15L and following that route actually makes you taxi up 15L briefly, against landing traffic. In real…

Hi, Is it necessary to do the voice training if I don't intend to use a microphone, only the Sayit button? I have a network setup with the client running on Windows 7 inside a virtual machine on an iMac. I run all my flightsim software like this. I can connect fine and when I press the 'test controller frequency and voice' I hear the response just fine. This is after filing a flight plan. However, when I switch to Clearance and press Sayit I get no response? Help appreciated. -Dean

If I use P2A in a remote computer, would it list the gates from the airport in the FSX computer?

Hello. Found a very minor issue. I flew from Leeming (EGXE) to Newcastle (EGNT). No problems until I landed at Newcastle when the ATC said... "BA Niner Six Eight Welcome to LEEMING there is no ground control at this Airport". Strange, I don't think I've had this one before. I have had some difficulty with P2A recognizing SayIt Speech. From KSEA to KSFO everything is fine until I am transferred to Tower for take off and tower does not respond. Hi! I experience heavy problems using the Taxi Maintenance. At first it seems as if you work with some taxi point, it connects ALL taxi points and runways to the same path. I have tried to investigate it a bit further and I am convinced, that the problem comes from NOT "refreshing" the data in the taxi path to the left in the Taxi Maintenance screen. When I load the screen and type some ICAO code for a airport, it loads the taxi paths and points and all looks fine. When I then randomly select some taxi point, I get the Name, Type, Surface etc. in the "Taxi Path" as I should. But when I then select any other taxi point, the values in the Taxi Path does …

All of a sudden, I cannot get P2ATC PTT to recognize buttons on my Saitek yoke with X-plane 11. If I use my mouse to activate PTT it works fine when I test it with Grammar Help and when connected to X-Plane. So I know PTT and my mike are configured correctly. i have cleared and re-mapped to the same and different buttons....No joy. Dumb question....In X-Plane, should I have the the yoke button I mapped in P2ATC also mapped to the X-Plane "contact ATC" command?

Hello Dave, I'm enjoying every day your great piece of software and still discovering new possibilities. Just a suggestion for future developments: it would be great to have the possibility to communicate with the ground crew for the pushback procedure ("checks completed, pin installed","release parking brakes",etc). Not sure if it a bug, or just me again, but today flying to Leuchars, EGQL , the ILS frequency for runway 26 in P3DV4 is 108.70 but in P2A it is reported as 108.55 so setting this in Nav 1 will not allow ILS autoland to work, for example. Flight sim Commander, after running the database compiler also reports the frequency as 108.70 which you would obviously expect it to. I have installed the 1707 navigraph files to P2A whether that would make any difference. Any clues as to what could be causing this difference in frequencies?

Hello. Everything was working flawlessly until last night when I foolishly let Win 10 update to the new version. It seems to have caused some weird issues with P2ATC. Speech recognition still works flawlessly with Grammar Helper but fails almost completely when running properly with the sim. Example of what I'm saying compared to what is recognised... Does Pilot2ATC issue an Alternate airport when filing fight plan, if you can not land at the intended one? Is there an option for required compulsory call in to ATC at certain way points along a route?

Today I created the Pilot2ATC first IFR flight plan. I have Navigraph 1707. The flight plan is created in Pilot2ATC looking fine. I export to P3D v4. When I try and load it into P3d v4 I see it listed but it won't load. Two flight plans listed. LSGG-LSZH.pln and LSGG_LSZHP2AFPL.pln. Neither will load from P3D v4. Thank You. Bill McCracken

Hello. I'm not sure if this is normal but the speech recognition speed on my system seems slow in P2ATC. Even with the simulator off (X-Plane 11) and just using the grammar helper it might take 10 seconds or so to show what I've said on screen. When using the speech during the sim it can take up to a minute or so before I hear the 'ping' to say it's recognized I've said something. The Speech recognition itself is fine, it's just the speed that's strange. Does it sound like something's wrong? Does anyone have any tips on reducing the lag? Thanks, Brent. The controller when giving me the hand-off frequency seems to "round off" the frequency to the first decimal... e.g CYYZ Appr is 124.475, but the controller said 124.4 (and the Co-pilot entered that number). I had to search for CYYZ Approach myself in the P2A app and select, and then it worked. Is there a setting somewhere to have it go to 2 or 3 decimal places? That seems to be the cause of my other problem whereby P2A would seem to get confused on what airport I was landing it and give me an approach to a non-existent runway. I think what happened is the rounding error tuned me in to some other Tower/Approach and the app uses that to figure out what airport you…

Hello All; Quick Question: What are these GCRPt_0, GTRPt_1, etc. points that are being generated in the Auto Plan flight plan? Will the effect my flight plan in the plane? For instance: KDCA to KSFO is entered then Auto Plan is pressed. Then you get all these crazy GCRPt_x waypoints. Just curious. Thanks
