  2. Hi! Just downloaded this exciting product and are trying to get it work. I have a problem getting the COM1 and COM2 radios to switch. After start the first time the frequencies from COM2 were shown OK and setting new frequencies worked fine in FSX. But I am not able to shift to COM1. I use my mouse and have clicked on COM1 button like a crazy at least 1000 times. When I click and hold the mouse button down, it draws a white "box" around the button. When I release the mouse button it shifts to COM1 for a tiny fraction of a second and then returns to green light i COM2 and only showing COM2. And now to the funny part: Out of 1000 tries, i DID succee…

  3. Evaluating P2A and like a lot about it, especially with the XP11 shortcomings. However, I don't seem to see an easy way to plot out my altitudes on my climb out. P2A seems to assume cruise altitude (and cruise speed) from the very first waypoint until TOD (and continues to assume cruise speed all the way down to 10,000 ft). Changing speeds is a bit arduous due to the nature of the autofill that is programmed on the flightplan pane, and some waypoints won't allow a change in ground speed at all. I can't find in the forum anything on this topic, so questions for anyone with experience/knowledge: 1. Is there a way for P2A to relate IAS and altitude with GS? …

Quick question. Is there a nice convenient map somewhere to show which region ( K1-K7 ) an airport folder should go into for it's chatter files? I assume if you put a KLAX folder with all it's files in the Southeast K7 folder you will never hear the chatter when you get there. Examples KMEM. Does it go in the South K4 folder or the Central K5 folder? Chicago I assume goes in the North K3 folder or would it be Central K5? Thanks for any help. p

  5. Just trying to do a flight across Canada today but there are a ton of missing Navigation points as I'm trying to make a flight plan. YQT, VBI, YBR, YXC...... they all come up with "unable to locate waypoint in database" Edit: Seems to be a Canadian specific bug. These same types of waypoints are fine in the rest of the world including the U.S. None of the Canadian ones are in the database. These same waypoints are fine in the FF777 using the same Navigraph airac cycle. 1706 p

I'm very new to P2A so its possible I did something wrong. Short IFR flight from EGGD direct to EGTE at FL080, all going very well and passed to Exeter Approach who told me to descend to FL050 and gave me vectors to the ILS 26 but did not give me any further descent to intercept the glidepath, at FL050 I was passed to Tower for landing ??

Hello, I'm using the trial version now for 5 days and it is a great piece of software. For me, as a former user of ProAtcX, it's a giant step forward. I have P2A installed on a client PC with WideFS and P3D on the server. The PTT button in the cockpit is "talking" to P2A as described elsewhere in this forum. 2 questions: I have set up the ATC chatter according to the user guide for airport folders. So in the Atc chatter folder I have a controllers folder, a EG folder and a EH folder. The EG folder contains app, twr etc. folders populated with the appropriate wav files. The EH folder contains app, two etc. folders AND a EHRD folder with two, gnd etc folders,…

(is it a ddependency??) I didn't catch the whole crash report but i can probably reproduce the crash if wanted :)

I have the unregistered version. I am trying to setup and test the voices. I setup Microsoft Dave desktop as ATIS then select the test button. I get message "IVONA 2 voice Joey click to activate". I have gone through the Microsoft speech training and that went well. What am I missing. Yes I have read the manual. But I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Is there a step by step video on how to set this up? Thanks to all who reply. Bill McCracken

  19. I'm currently using the Trial version of P2A and prior to this I have never used any of the Microsoft text to speech voices so my knowledge is zero on this subject. I'm using Windows 10 Pro (fully updated), when I go into the P2A's Config - Voices menu, it seems to recognise 3 Microsoft voices David, Hazel and Zira plus other voices like Charles 16, Crystal 16 etc. The 3 Microsoft voices work fine, but if I select Crystal 16 for example and press TEST I get a Unhandled Exception fault message and P2A crashes. So far I'm really impressed with P2A so will probably buy it, I've noticed comments about downloading extra voices, is this still possible with Windows 10…

I'm currently using the Trial version of P2A with the Microsoft voices David, Crystal and Zira set as ATC and Copilot. When one of the voices speaks within P2A I get a horrible musical 'jingle' sound for two or three seconds sounding at the same time - is this something added to the trial version or have I got a setting wrong somewhere as its driving me nuts. The only thing I could see is the trial lasts for 10 days, not any irritating noises added ?

Dave, P2atc is working perfectly for me now so thank you for your continuing development and bug sorting. I always look forward to the new updates even though it is working well, for me, as is. I read there is to be a new 64 bit version of P3D released next week.Version 4. I will be keeping v3 on my PC until v4 has settled down but am I correct in assuming that P2atc will initially be incompatible with v4? Thanks for all your hard work and patience in dealing with the bug reports!

I notice in the manual that Dave recommends downloading the Spanish Language pack because it will speak in English but with a Spanish accent. Great for latin countries. Is the same true for other language packs? For instance if I download the French pack will it work in English for flying in Quebec or France? Has anyone done this? p

  25. Started by Denco,

So after a few days of testing and getting used of the program I would like to share my opinion and some of my wis hlist which I'm well aware that the developer has the right to ignore. Still bringing them out can't hurt anyone. I also used the program in X plane but it should work with FSX and P3D. In general I think the P2A is a great product even in beta and keep in mind it will only get improved. The program has many features that are very useful, but can also be problematic - more on that bellow. The ATC aspect is robust and the voice recognition is the top on the cake. Since I have a fresh installation of windows I had to teach the speech recognition of understand…
