    In version 2.2.1.7, I cannot open the Com Standby window. It minimizes to the task bar and then will not enlarge. I have tried moving the main window to see if it is behind it, but no luck. If I click on the new STBY window in the task bar, nothing happens. This is not an issue with NAV STBY window. Only COM. As an aside, is there any other way to adjust the controller volume?

  4. I've been running into problems with getting altimeter settings when I drop below FL180. If I call ATC and ask for one, they usually tell me it's unavailable because my closest airport doesn't have that information, which I understand. I'm assuming that in the real world ATC would give you some sort of interpolated barometer value rather than leaving at 29.92". I fly in X-Plane which does actually provide barometers at every single airport even if NOAA doesn't. Can P2A read from these values to provide me with a barometer?   5. I just did a direct flight from 7S1 to 6S1, both small airports without procedures or towers, about 150nm apart. P2A sets up the flight perfectly and vectored me in for visual approach to the runway. If you load the route in P2A you'll see that the flight path is perpendicular to the landing path, so P2A actually needs me to deviate about 8nm south of the airport (when I'm flying east) in order to get lined up for the visual approach (the IF, OM, IM waypoints). The problem is that my GPS is taking me direct to 6S1, not to the point 8nm south of the airport that P2A needs me to go to.   6. Weird phenomenon... Whenever I get P2A ATC speech, my Windows sound level for the P2A application is dropped to 60% of maximum. I noticed this right after the new AIRAC format revision (2.2.1.7), so this may be a new bug. Before reporting it as such, seeing if anyone here has this issue. Further details... This happens with my headset (logitech G933) or system speakers, so it's not related to a particular sound device. In the example below, I set the general volume level of the headset to 50% and the P2A application level to match it at 50%. With any audio from P2A, the level instantly drops to 30%.     Hello again, I noticed that KSBA doesn't have approach or departure frequencies, read the manual, and changed Approach and Departure to 120.55. KSBA is my home airport so its cool that you put it in the manual. So the problem is that Center or Tower never gives me the correct frequency although Clearance Delivery gives me the correct one. When flying a short flight from KAVX to KSBA, Center recently gave me 125.40 for approach which is wrong, should be 120.55. I will try changing Approach to a different frequency to see if having Approach and Departure on the same frequency is the problem.   8. Hello, When I create or import a VFR flight plan, Pilot2ATC refuses the altitudes + 500ft. Example: If I indicate that I want a level of flight 065, Pilot2ATC will correct this level of flight and will impose me a level 080, 090 or even 100. Yet in VFR the flight levels are odd levels. Why does Pilot2ATC impose false flight levels ? Why Pilot2ATC chooses for me the altitude at which I want to fly, whereas in VFR flight, it is the pilot who chooses his level of flight in compliance with the rule of halves circulaires ? Gérard

  9. Hi Dave, first of all congratulations for your work. I'm evaluating the demo of Pilot2ATC and I think it's beautiful and works well in my networked notebook. I know this is a worldwide software but I have a specific question about Italy: In my country flight levels assignment is: from 270° to 089° (northbound): even flight levels (eg. FL320) from 90° to 269° (southbound): odd flight levels (eg. FL350) Is there any way to set this rule for flight level assignment? Regards Andrea

    At LFMN and had problems using copilot to read back clearance. The Two of the Departure frequency is very short and this may not be recognised. There is no phrase for the copilot to say in response. Try to say myself but cannot move any further forward. Is a pain as this is stopping me using LFMN with ATC. Any thoughts? Dialogue below.     How accurate is tracking of my position on the map. Seems to me that my position on the map is off quite a bit. When following my flight plan using GPS sometimes I am told that I am off course. The correction given will put me on the flight path displayed on the map but will be off on the GPS. Also, taxing around the airports will be off a lot. I have checked GPS coordinates between FSX and Google Earth and surprisingly they are really close. Why the discrepancy

  17. Does P2A recognize the transponder in third party aircraft like the PMDG NGX or the FSL A320? I don't have a problem in X-Plane but in P3D I never get a radar contact call so I'm constantly being told to squawk XXXX.

    I just bought p2a and for some reason the sound for p3d stops when I talk, this does not happen in x-plane 11 or when I was using the trial. The only thing that fixes the sound is restarting the sim and p2a. I was trying to fly the a2a 172 if that helps you at all, also using the flight1 gtn 750 with it. I noticed that p2a does not detect that the transponder is on for the gtn so I do it manually in p2a. Also when I try to get clearance p2a takes at least 30 seconds to respond or does not respond at all (this is for x-plane 11 and p3d). For other frequencies ground, center, etc. I usually get a response rather quickly (again both sims.)

    On the final days of my trial and seriously considering buying but the dead skies are ruining it for me. I have XLife installed (disabled), which is great, but a no-go without integrating with ATC. Is there any AI packages out there that play nice with P2ATC?

  21. Hello. I´m considering of buying Pilot2ATC to my X-Plane 11 upgrade, now I´m using X-Plane 10.51, but I have a few questions about it. I plan to run Pilot2ATC on network by my laptop, X-Plane will run on my desktop, the connection is made with XPUIPC and XPWideclient, they are pretty old software and there has not been hardly any updates in recent years, so will they work on X-Plane 11, or is there any newer software available ?

    My computers for flight simulation default to keyboards that are American, whereas my keyboards are physically British. The computer British is there as an alternate. I am trying to set # as my yoke button, but it is in a different position on the US keyboard. Could I install the British as the windows display keyboard and the US as another language?

    While still learning P2A I'm only doing short flights to see what P2A can do. Just completed a flight from EGGD to EGTE about 70 miles, all went well until on the Approach to ILS 08. Tower informed me there was still an aircraft on the runway and to carry out a missed approach, I could see the aircraft was well clear of the runway and decided to land. While taxying to my parking gate ATC was still giving me vectors for another Approach to ILS 08, even as I was stopping on my parking spot I was still receiving vectors ?? I have to admit I found this very disappointing that P2A couldn't tell I was on the ground.

    Dave; In P2A there are a number of different weather options. One of which is Sim Weather. If this option is selected, it appears that P2A will get its weather information from the sim. If this is true, does it make a difference how (AS16 or other engine) the weather got to the sim? I guess my real question is why not always select Sim Weather? Tom
