I just purchased Pilot2ATC. I have two monitors and when I open Pilot2ATC and place it on the second monitor, it seems to work fine. This is without the sim (P3Dv4) running. When I start the sim and connect Pilot2ATC the main Pilot2ATC screen goes blank (The map and flight Plan ) when I click on it, say to move the map. The main Pilot2ATC screen does the same thing if I click on the sim screen or my internet browser for that matter. I think that this is a Windows 10 problem but I can run LittleNavMap on the second monitor without this problem. I just found that if I click on the blank screen area of the other monitor, it does the same thing. I had never seen this …

Currently flying the Baron 58 in x plane 11 and exporting the flightplan from pilot2atc. The plan can be loaded into the 530 and all appears good, however the 530 does not request a change to vloc from gps and flies straight over the runway. Am I supposed to also load the same approach and activate the approach directly within the 530? also do I need nav1 activated or do I just press nav button on the 530. Apologies for the dumbness but I cant quite figure it out.

The developer of "World Traffic for X-Plane" announced last night the new features of the pending version 3.0 release (see the announcement here https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/128621-world-traffic-30-features/&tab=comments#comment-1236156 ) . At the bottom of the announcement he mentioned changes planned for the 3.1 release: The Pilot2ATC interface should be done soon but won't be in 3.0. Wow!!! I am not sure how far away this is or what level of integration with Pilot2ATC it will have but it could signal a new sense of immersion for flight sim pilots. Is it possible to use the test flight tutorial with the latest version of the programme or are there too many differences?

Hello, I exported a FPL which contained SID/STAR into the "Route" folder of my Flight Factor B 767. If i then import the FPL in the FMS the SID/STAR have disappeared. Of course in Config I have checked the Eport SID/STAR function. Why doesnt that work ? RG Christian

Hi, I am new to pilot2atc and was wondering if you can set a maximum altitude for the autoplan to work to. I am trying to plan a flight from LIMC to LFMN and although I put 90 for cruise alt the autoplan comes back with several waypoints at 120. I want to keep the max altitude at 90. Any Ideas?

Win10, XP11.02, P2ATC v2.2.2.1 Sir, for info - Since latest update I'm getting a constant "Readback incorrect" between ATC and auto copilot. I can intervene to correct this but then it occurs again and again during the flight. I tried a complete new download but this did not help. Cheers, Bruce

Hello Dave, Congratulations on this excellent piece of kit. Several weeks now trying off and on for the 'perfect' flight. Been fun trying albeit time-consuming. I spent a lot of time in NZ so using NZAA-NZWN as my trial route, I've flown it several times. A few challenges to date. First, the main one which I hope you can put me straight on. MY PLANNED ROUTE: 1. Manually plan a simple route in P2A. NZAA 23L via CLARK1 SID to TPAP3B STAR into NZWN Rwy 16. Gives me CLARK - LIMES - KARRL - TPAPA - BRUDA - HUWIT - WITBY - CANES. 2. I was wondering which would be the best weather source for P2A. Currently sim of choice has been p3d v4 for awhile now. I've had it set to Active Sky with the correct directory configured, yet P2A has been giving me some strange issues. The first I noticed it consistently tells me active runway information is not available at pretty much any airport I've tried. This in turn seems to give me an incorrect runway which would have me want to take off into landing/departing aircraft. This has led me to wait a few extra minutes to see where the AI go, then requesting that runway. This is also leading me to never getting assigned any SIDs. I've been using Efass NG as the …

I'm new to Pilot2ATC. Does it has a dialog box in the sim to tell me what should I say or to help me in the readbacks? I'm used to VoxAtc, which has a dialog box to help users... Thanks

I am a new user: First off I love this new software. After use Radar Contact for years, which still very good, Pilot2ATC is the new generation. So far everything is perfect. I was wondering if it is compatible with PMDG 777-200? Has anyone tried it out yet? It would very interesting to hear everyone's comments. Keep up the good work. Thank you all in advance. Harry

Dave, just started using this yesterday and I am really impressed with it. However I do have some issues and I don't know if it's because I have updated nav database or some other problem. One problem was flying X-Plane 11, from Teterboro (KTEB) airport to Atlantic City (KACY) IFR with the flightplan filed. The flight plan was set up in such a way as to go around the TFR in New Jersey because of the president. While flying to my first waypoint west of Teterboro, ATC wanted me to turn south into the TFR I responded with "unable", but they continue to try to turn me into the TFR . I know it has been brought up before, but I feel it is important enough to start a new topic. At the moment there seems to be no possibility to ask for a return to the field in case of trouble (technical or medical emergency/distress). For instance with an engine failure after take off, it would be nice to have the possibility to report this to the tower and ask for vectors to return to the field. As far as I have discovered, the program now only can give vectors to the destination airport of the flightplan. A second wish would be the possibility to divert to a planned or not planned alternate. Both would add a lot to IMO already the best ATC software on the mar…

I read that if using AIRAC 1707 or above we need version 2.2.1.6+ . I have 1708 installed on all but I cannot find a 2.2.1.6 demo, only 2.2.2.1 Is there a 2.2.1.6 demo? Would/will I have to install an AIRAC that's compatible with the download version to demo it? With thanks

Hi, I have the following happening: When I tune to an atis frequency, I can hear P2A reading the atis message in my headset but also X-plane is giving me an atis message which I hear in the speakers. What can I do to prevent X-plane from reading the atis message.

I am nearing the end of my trial period and will be purchasing the full version, even though I have encountered a few hiccups here and there. I am sure some of them are my own configuration problems or the lack of of knowledge on how to properly use P2A. 1. I am unable to get my PTT or SayIt to work from my Saitek Yoke. I know several have this problem. I have checked that no other buttons are assigned to it, I run P2A in admin mode and am still unable to get it to work. I have managed to get a keyboard hotkey to work, but nothing from my Saitek or from another Joystick option as well. 2. P2A does not load flight plan into the GPS on FSX:SE. I al…

Sometimes i can only request a ifr release even at towered aiports. Today I got it at ellx. Am I missing something ? Thx

Hi Dave, I have been having issues with P2A, when I start a flight plan the programme says not responding. When it connects to p3Dv3I close it down, and start again then it says no flight plan filed. When I try to file a plan it says not responding. please help, I have reinstalled it several times and even uninstalled P3D and reinstalled it with fsuipc v5 but to no avail. cheers Ian

P2a continues to work well for me and each new update adds to the fun. Apologies if this has been asked before or if I have missed it somewhere..it is a very trivial point: When I press my joystick PTT button there is no switch or static noise momentarily as I press or release the button. I think there should be and I fear I may have missed an option in the config setup. Does this option exist and if so how is it activated? If not, not to worry, just me being difficult again!

my answer is yes, definitely ! I tried 124thATC(0€) and xLife de Luxe(19€). Both have their justification and are not bad, but P2A offers a lot more which is why the 69€ is good invested money. I only have some issues with the sounds. I admit, some of them may have not to do with P2A but with MS Speech Engine.... a) When I press the Sayit button I hear a long lasting melody which nerves me. Under Config I don't find a possibility to turn this off b) The chatter mp3 files are played in loop until the change to another controller. When I'm setting up a flight I get ATIS as expected. But when I'm given clearance, the info (eg departing runway and altimiter setting) contradicts what ATIS just said. Why? Also, I have altitude restrictions in the P2A generated flight plan, but ATC just ignores them. Again, why?
