This is something new that started recently with some of my plans. . When I create a plan (left picture) it validates just fine. However when I click "File" it resets it to a vector approach. Hi dear I have a question: can I use another speech recognition tool ( dragon, braina, google tts ...) in place of Microsoft speech recognition ( that have moderate quality) ? Kind regards

I note that when I export a flight plan in XP11 it doesn't match the one that was created within Pilot2ATC. For instance in the screen shot below, the GPS shows SILKY as the first waypoint. Yet, in the actual plan, SILKY is found after quite a few other waypoints. I'm quite new to Pilot2ATC and XP11 so I'm sure that this may just be user error - thanks!

Hi Dave, I managed to solve one issue i had with the weather but have another that is bugging me. I can't seem to get a fix for it. Probably something simple. I have all windows, sim and p2a audio routed to my rift headset, when I change comm frequencies after being handed off to the next controller the sound level drops for P2A. I then have to remove the rift go in to my little speaker on my windows taskbar, open sound settings and turn the slider for P2A up full again. On every frequency change it drops the sound level from 100 to around 20. It will then stay at 100 until I change to the next controller then drops again etc. I have tried routing the audio…

Can someone advise how a step change or an altitude change is done when using a networked version of P2A (which doesn't allow you to speak to the ATC)? If this is not possible then I would suggest a few entries offered in the text selection area for altitude climb/descent (maybe 3 - 5 options increasing by 1000 for each one). That way you can gradually request a different altitude up or down close to yours.

I was trying to fly from EHAM to EGLL. I was parked at D92 stand. The ATC gave me taxiway to Rw09 via A10, A13, A , A16 , B, etc. On the charts taxiway A and B there are one way. Basically the ATC told me to taxi on A the wrong way. Is there an option in Gate and Taxiway Maintenance to set the taxiways lines to one way? Or, can this option be added to the Taxiway maintenance? Hi folks I classify myself as reasonably intelligent. I was a real world pilot in a past life but that button above the Pwr button has me totally confused. For the life of me I cannot get it to do what I want. I have the map showing above, along with the flight plan WPT, DIST, DTK etc. I then click on the down facing minimise button (I dont know what else to call the stupid thing) and I have a black screen apart from the flight plan WPT, DIST, DTK etc at the top of the screen. Hi Dave. Hoping you can help I run the paid version of P2A. I have recently been running XP11. Issue I have is that when I have P2A set to read NOAA real weather, and in the sim its set to real world weather the Atis is generally spot on with the atis reported by the FMC in the zibo mod problem is that XP11 winds and atis are different from both these. For example atis in zibo mod reads winds 250/13 and P2A reports same winds on its atis. But in XP11 i get different winds and active runways than what is being reported twice......any ideas? Im also using the NOAA weather plug in. Id love to get this all in sync. Had all this running beautifully in P3D4…

After using VoxATC for some time on FSX, I switched to Pilot2ATC on P3D a few months ago and I'm rather happy with it, although there's still potential for improvement. A feature that I am missing is a mandatory readback feature, for example I do not just request pushback, but I also have to confirm the approval of the pushback. I'm aware that there is the "CoPilot responds to radio" function, but that's not the same. I would like to say it myself, an if I don't, having Pilot2ATC repeating the instructions to get a readback. Is such a feature possible? Mike

Hello to all, I think I found a little issue concerning P2ATC and my keyboard in version 2.5.0.5 R2 and R3: Once the config window has been opened, the keystrokes on the normal numeric key "1" are suppressed. It is still possible to enter the same number using the numeric keypad. This does not change anything if the config window is closed again. The use of the key is then no longer possible under Windows (for example in the editor) or other input fields. Note: this already happens if only P2ATC is active. X-Plane has not been started at this time. Incidentally, all other input devices have also been disconnected from the PC for safety's sake. The problem…

I installed the latest version of P2A (2.5.0.5_x64_R3) and getting the sqlservr.exe cannot start error. Any ideas? I'm on Win10. Don.

Try as I might I cannot get the Reality XP GTN to read files created in Pilot2ATC, I always get an error message about "cannot import flight plan" or some such wording. Anyone else with this?

I've had this program for the last couple weeks, have tried it out in several different situations, and now I think I can give my input. I think it's good, not great, not really worth the $60 I paid, but there is hope for this. I have it working great on another computer using FSUIPC/WideFS/WideClient to send the push to talk. The Microsoft side of things isn't perfect, but this seems to work ok. After a long flight the ATC seems to have problems, mainly once on the ground and it isn't transferring over to ground. Or doing more then one leg, it seems to have some difficulties. As far as controlling all AI traffic, that would be cool, but maybe a feat…

I do not understand the significance of the Taxi Route Error message. Whenever I have had this message appear when clicking on Taxiways I have always received very precise taxi instructions from Pilot2ATC. I can see in Taxiway Maintenence the the green taxiway paths do not go to each and every Gate. Is that the reason for the Taxi Route Error message? On the Taxiway Maintenance screen the green taxiways do not exactly overlay the taxiways on the default scenery i.e. the green taxiways and hold short points are way off in the region of 07R at LEBL. Is that a problem? How accurate do the green taxiways have to be in order for Pilot2ATC to work correctly? There are…

I have just completed a flight from LEBL to LEIB but as I was descending in the STAR I twice had messages popped up very very briefly which said something to the effect that the MSA was 6000ft and that I should select a different STAR. At this point ATC chose to ignore me and I had to land without Tower clearance. Here is my route LARP2R LARPA UN859 TOLSO TOLS3V.

For some reason, P2A can't hear me. I'm using the Grammar Help window to test with the phrase "say altimeter". Here's a breakdown of what's going on. In the Grammar Help window, I click the "Practice" button. This information pops up. I hold the PTT button and say the phrase "say altimeter". When I release the PTT button, it says "Full txt:". Clicking the "Replay" button yields nothing audible (no click, no hiss, no indication of sound). Other applications are receiving audio. Hello, I loaded a flight plan making sure to force my departure runway of 1L at KSFO. While the map showed the flight plan taking off from 1L I received taxi instructions to 28R and it even showed the taxi route on the map to 28R. Did I do something incorrectly? Thanks Devin

Hi, Love this product but have run into a weird one. Filing flight plans from say DCA or BWI to LGA lose all the STAR way points after I file. This does not happen with JFK etc. I do have a LGA add on so my thinking may be the issue. Any insight would be welcome. Thanks in advance

I have noticed that with the more complex clearances i.e when reading back an ifr clearance the results are really bad but simpler clearances are fine. I cannot believe Pilot2ATC handles the more complex clearances any differently. Has anyone else experienced the same problem? I have resolved myself to using Say it for the more complex clearances which is very frustrating. If you read this Dave, I would appreciate your thoughts

Hi Dave, I'm using P2ATC with x-plane for more than a year now without problems, only recently I have some trouble. 1. When I'm told to contact a different controller I set the new frequency in the aircraft (not via P2ATC Com menu). While tuning up from, let's say, 123.25 to 125.70 the frequency often jumps around. That means it seems to hang at a certain point and doesn't follow my inputs. For example it jumps back and forth from 124.30 to 124.35 although I'm just trying to tune it further up. This lasts for a few seconds until it follows my inputs again, just to start the same again a few frequency steps later. When I look into the P2ATC Com window whi…

I just bought the program today and am learning how to use it. On ILS approaches, I can find the frequency, the bearing and other stuff. But, I can't find the Morse ID anywhere. Are those in the program somewhere?

I'm just coming from P3D to X-Plane and from using Little Nav Map to Pro2ATC. So, lots of new things! Am I correct, that for each and every airport, runway and taxi maintenance must be done to ensure accuracy? There is not a way to scan all scenery to get this? In practice then, if you fly to different airports on a regular basis, should this be done each time?
