First I will apologise in advance if this is not the right place to put suggestions but I couldn't see anywhere else. 1) Is it possible OR would it be possible to have the option to have the radios detuned i.e no ATIS when connection is first made to the Sim? I believe that with the battery/avionics off there would be no audio from the radio but I would prefer to be able to tune into the ATIS when I want to. 2) This next issue makes ATC Chatter unusable for me. As an ex real world pilot I cannot get used to the fact that when I initiate contact with a controller ATC Chatter intervenes between my request and receiving a response from the controller. Sorry, yet another question/issue. I was parked at G12 at EGGD and requested taxi and received a dialog box that said:- "Taxi route error Taxi route was not calculated. If you have clearance to taix, just taxi at pilot discretion." What does this error mean and also take note of the typing error in the dialog box? Regards Colin

Dave, it's possible that the moving map can get a night mode? I do a lot of my evening flights in real time. I have P2A on a second monitor. It would be very nice if map could then be displayed a little darker. Regards Reiner

I am trying to get the demo files from X-ATC-Chatter working in Pilot2ATC. I have copied the appropriate region Controllers folder into the folder D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\Pilot2ATC_2018_x54\Sounds\ATC_Chatter but when I go into Sounds config it wont accept the path. It seems like the depth of the sub folders is limited to 2 levels only. Am I doing something wrong? I have discovered that even though the Root folder box only displays 2 levels it has actually accepted the full path. Sorry if I wasted your time. It would probably be a good idea if it displayed the full path selected.

I Have a senstive mic (Rift VR Headset) so the volume must remain on about 50 for P2ATC to pickup my voice without being garbel. In windows 10 I set it to the desired level. However when I press PTT in P2ATC it moves the volume back up to 100 every time. Even though I have unchecked Allow applications to take control of this device. I can't see any options for this in P2ATC config...

I do not have Pilot2ATC yet but have been reading the Manual. In the manual there is a section on Importing Taxiways and Gates. Does this have to be performed even before using Pilot2ATC for the first time or can it be done after the trial has completed. I want to trial Pilot2ATC under the best circumstances so I want to get everything right. Regards Colin

Hi Dave. I had an enjoyable flight with P2ATC (it gets better and better!) and X-Plane 11.25 this morning until I was being vectored to the final. LGAV/03R VARI1E VARIX UL995 RDS UM601 BONEK DCT LCLK/04 http://vau.aero/navdb/chart/LCLK.pdf I was brought down to 5600 ft at BONEK, then was vectored on Hdg 132 towards final VOR/DME Z Rwy 04. After (just) skimming the tops of the Cyprian mountains I was not told to descend further which meant I was too high at D12 and unable to make the 2000 ft constraint at D6.9 (FF04). Mid flight, the map disappears and is replaced by a white display with a red diagonal cross. What is causing this, and what can I do to put it right?

Hi Dave, I did a flight last night from Calgary to Portland, with real weather turned on. P2A obviously looks at the wind direction and assigns the appropriate runway. However, at Calgary it chose runway 08 which is very short and not suitable for my 737-300. I then went into the flight plan and chose 17R and ticked force runway but P2A still kept pointing me to 08. Am I doing something wrong in the sequence to get P2A to use the runway I selected or is it possible to get P2A to select the appropriate runway based on the aircraft type that you are flying. Hi, After updated Pilot2ATC, the program stop to listen after 5 min or more of no talk. The PTT window turn green when I press the button, but doesnt listen. If I change the frequency to any ATIS or AWOS, I can hear them well. The only way that I do to resolve the issue is to click disconnect and connect again, but after no talk for 5 min isn't listen again. My mic is set as a default communication on the sound record setting. Also my P2A is installed on a network PC. Thanks for any help.

Hello Dave, After flying to so many simple airports where importing the taxiways & gates only mostly fill the gates and runways i've decided to add the taxiways manually, this went perfect. My question is that some runways have multiple holding points and i also see that i can enter a weight limit for a certain taxi path, this would mean a 747 can e.g. take holding point A1 and a 737 would get revered to holding point A2. Is this correct? if so would this mean KGs or LBs. Also as suggestion, since i have no idea how hard it would be, is to be able to put arrows on the taxiways so atc would only let me taxi in a certain direction, would mostly be the case at …

Hi Folks, I have been using this program and I'm enjoying the immersion you get with it. I am also running World traffic 3 at the same time and I have noticed that I don't appear to be getting any other traffic alerts. I have it ticked in the config box. Recently I was cruising at around 8500 - 9000ft and had another aircraft pass within twoish miles of me at a similar altitiude, but did not get any calls. Can somebody shed any light on this or is it I may have things ticked when they could be unticked. Thanks for any info. Michael.

This morning I was flying from KPUB to KDEN. P2A directed me to runway 17 for takeoff. After takeoff from KPUB, followed instructions, runway heading until 5,700' then left to 340, climb to 9,000'. Was then cleared to 14,000' then immediately P2A directed me to descend to 5,400'. I waited until being turned over to center but center kept up with the descend to 5,400'. Tried to request 14,000 but it kept on so I killed the connection and then reconnedted and filed the flight plan again and center continued on normally giving me expected approach at KDEN.

I choose X-Plane 10.fms by mistake but now I can't do any export. How can I fix this? How can I reset this screen? Where is the .ini file or registry located?

I am using xuipc in xplane vr. Everytime i want to quitte xplane i am having CTD's As an altanative can i use x connect instead??

Dave, I’ve been trying P2A out for a few days, and im an old RC4 user. For those of us that fly trans oceanic flights, RC4 had a feature that you could put Comms on autopilot (via the copilot) and leave it alone for several hours. At TOD, the program would pause the sim until you were ready to resume. That would be a great addition. With that in mind, is there a way to pause ATC and resuming it later in the flight? I tried this, and P2A didn’t seem to have any idea where I was, although my AC was displaying properly on the map. What would really be cool, is to implement CPDLC down the road. I fly internationally, and this is how most comms are performed when …

I am running version 2504 with Navigraph. When I opened the TERPS window before I could get Pilot2ATC to display the chart inside the TERPS popup window. That is not working now, instead when I select a chart it opens up Acrobat Reader. I tried reinstalling the program but still have the same issue. Is there any way I can get it to open the charts in the TERPS windows again?

I was interested in P2ATC originally then discovered that I could not have the main sim sounds coming from my speakers and the comms coming through my headset. Is this now possible with Version 2? Thanks, Kent

Three days ago I began using the ten day free trial. Boy am I a happy chappy! Nice work Dave! Only downside for me is I am moving properties in two days time so will have to postpone learning/using P2A for a few weeks. As soon as I am settled at new house P2A will be purchased. Best regards Paul

is there a way to select which audio devices it uses for output. I believe it uses "Default Communication Devise" set in Windows OS. Is there an overall "volume" setting?

Hi I'm currently thinking of buying this product as it lists many features I want on its website, although the videos people have created don't generally show what I'm interested in. Basically : Does it get data from Navigraph? I currently have that subscription and xplane is up to date, will that effect Pilot2ATC? I generally like to fly the aircraft with something that talks to the ATC, so is there a feature that talks to atc, responds (or I can get it to respond) and then carry out some things - mainly changing frequencies, squark codes, etc Does it generally work with 3rd party aircraft? Hi Dave, I've seen this on a bunch of flights recently, but just captured it now in a screen shot. On some flights (probably more than not), On the descent path there will be an altitude that is out of range where it should be. Like at 3 consecutive waypoints, i'll see altitudes like: 12000 (KADDY), 9400 (TYSSN), 10000(SUZSI) as shown in the screen shot. This flight was KPHX - KLAS. You can see the SID, STAR, and Approach settings in the screen shot. I assume that is not normal. Let me know if you want the log for this flight, and i'll email them. Hi I have a couple questions (note that I am not at all experienced with flying). 1) I have x-plane11 set to "real weather setting" . When I get the altimeter info from PILOT2ATC it is different to what the ATIS is providing. How would they end up being different ? 2) I currently go to Simbrief to get my flight plan - and that would give me all the weather info, TOD, cruise altitude, speed etc. What is the correct procedure (or recommended procedure) to take this information and enter it into PILOT2ATC. Bought this program yesterday and today i bought the latest navigraph airac cicle Wanted to do a manual installation the installer says choose the right path Do i put it in the root of the program or in the data map (because i put it now in the root of the program and when i open the program it still says navigrap airaccicle 1705)
