Yesterday i downloaded several speech packages on W10 for P2ATC and i found some of the voices to low even in 100%, im using it with XP and for example in the latest FF a320 update the cockpit sounds are very high and even reducing the volume of internal cockpit sounds in XP its very hard to hear P2ATC... this dint solve my problem: Anyone has this problem? how to solve?

Hi Dave. We recently talked about handoffs between approach and tower. You said I needed to download the latest version of which I did. The first flight was flawless. Worked perfect. The last several flights I have been handed off to tower, however, after making initial contact, and getting directions on how to approach the runway, I am having trouble with getting clearance to land. I keep calling with no response. What I have found is that if I switch quickly from tower back to approach then back to tower, I usually get a response and clearance to land. But sometimes I get into a real mess and can't get out of the cycle of between being told to contact tower then…

With my flight from KSLC to KSEA I tried to load TERPS for KSEA and it says it's loaded but won't display then I get a CTD version .05 R2 James

What are the minimum P2A operation requirements? I'm considering moving P2A from one client PC to another.

Hi Dave, first off - thanks for this great product. I purchased it last week and am having a lot of fun to learn all the intricacies. That said, since updating to 2.5.0.5 R2 I noticed that I'm having weird problems with VFR flight following. I am currently flying a lot in France and on my last two flights, both times ATC couldn't find my destination airport. First flight was from LFPB to LFAO, second flight was from LFAO to LFJR. Both times I validated and filed a simple VFR flight plan (using "Autoplan" - so direct-to and then pattern directions), I checked in to center at the ground with "Ready to copy VFR flight plan", got my squawk code and ATC did annou…

Did a flight from KSLC to KSEA. All went well until I was told to contact Seattle Approach on 133.65. FO responded, radio changed freq. and checked in. SeaAPP responded "Contact Seattle Approach on 133.65". FO responded and the same thing happened over and over until I reached the end of the star and then it started giving vetors to final. Also the nearby freq window was blank. What gives? James

Hi, Dave and everyone, having the same Terp problems About 3 weeks ago my Terp charts failed to display when I clicked on the button. At that time I was running V2.5.0.4_x64. I did some searching on this Forum and found that it would be corrected with the next update. I installed two days ago Version 2.5.05_x64 update with no luck. Did some more searching here and saw that it was a problem with the internet not allowing access to the charts. I also went into the P2A config settings and the Guide but no luck there. Found no solution to my problem. Yes, I can go online and find out what I need, Freq, Charts, etc, Pausing the program and searching, but that’s time …

Like I say in the title, after lauching p2atc says it don't find current_wx_snapshot.txt I've putted Active sky P 4 in the windows 's config. WHat can I do ? Thanks

Hi Dave, In the changes list for 2.5.0.5 you have: Fixes the HotKey settings to prevent capture of HotKey when in other programs Does this mean P2A must have focus for the assigned hotkeys to work? Suppose one's focus is in another program? I am networking P2A but there are other programs on the same PC also in use. (I can possibly direct the WideFS-programmed keystrokes to P2A, but it might need another Lua plug-in to change focus instead). And what about those running P2A on the Sim PC and needing focus in the Sim? Pete

Just wanted to publicly say thanks to Dave for Pilot2ATC and his ongoing support of his customers. Not only is the product outstanding, but Dave's commitment is as well. Over the years that I've owned the product, Dave has always been extremely helpful and lightning-fast with responses to questions/issues. If only all developers took customer service so seriously! It's my hope that this message and others like it will encourage folks who might be on the edge about buying P2ATC to go ahead and make the purchase. I need to move software to another computer - how do I 'unregister' the software - if I simply delete the program will that work?

hello, Pilot2atc asking me every 10 sec. to expedite climb to ... let say 7000, but i am already there. X-plane 11.25 whit real weather on. At first i was thinking that it was Xienviro .. but it is the same without.. I am flying the Jardesign A320neo. E.Sierens

How could Pilot2ATC connect to Real Weather when I have SkyMaxx and Real Weather installed in X-Plane 11? There are links in Pilot2ATC that work no problem to Active Sky P3d or FSX .

Hello all. I'm trying to understand taxi maintenance and how it interfaces with the sim scenery. I've read the manual and have watched the tutorial video, so I think I understand the interface. What I don't understand is that the taxiway maintenance interface overlays on real world satellite imagery... but that's not necessarily aligned with sim scenery, especially taxiways. How do you line up taxiways without using simulator scenery images? I probably am missing something, but wondered if anyone can help me understand. As an example, the image linked below is a sample of KCVG scenery. The imported taxi points lineup with simulator scenery, but not with the show…

I am trying to fly from KBIL to KBZN in FSX SE. After takeoff I am told to climb to 14,000 ft. Then P2A selects the destination airport on the right hand panel and I am told to descend to 4,500 ft. I can find no way to cancel this selection by P2A. I had to re-validate the flight plan and file again. Once I did that it selected the correct leg on my flight plan and I was able to request 16,000 ft (because it would for some reason not recognize my request for 14,000 ft). So is this a bug or is something wrong with my flight plan? Sorry I couldn't figure out how to attach my flight plan to this post.

Barrick62, in another thread, correctly lists 2 English (US) and 4 English (UK) free Microsoft voices. He also mentions 3 European voices that will speak English with an accent. What isn't clear to me is how to use all of these in P2A. It only finds Hazel, David & Zira, so presumably the other three (George, Susan & Mark) are 32 bit. Is there any way to use these 32 bit voices? Ideally, I would like a different voice in each of the 15 ATC areas. I have 4 Cepstral voices making 7 usable in total, so it looks as if purchase is the only way to improve the ATC experience. I see Pete Dowson favours Nuance or Ivona.

I think this was a bit of an overkill: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nv77dfsa1e8g543/Capture.PNG?dl=0 I would've liked to fly direct from CCV to OMRIE, ie. bypassing the DRONE2 STAR at KORF completely, effectively flying to CCV and then a straight-in RNAV approach to RW23. Is this possible while-flying, without unchecking the "ATC assigns STARs" from the config?

Dave, a couple of days ago Windows 10 did an update and I've had a bunch of problems since then. But now when I get everything set up and ready to fly, I get the chatter, but can't communicate with any controllers. When I brought up the config tab and got to messing around, I found that when I did a frequency test, I got a box that said "This is not a valid frequency at this location. I went thru everyone at KSAN and got that message. P2ATC has been working perfect until now. You showed me how to set P2ATC up with speakers and after the update now I can hear myself in the speakers when I transmit, as before like you said would happen I wouldn't be able to hear myself…

Hi all- I'm using P2ATC in the Flysimware Lear35 with the F1 GTN750. Example: KSAN > KSFO, when I open the SID selection tool, the SIDs in P2ATC are different from the GTN750. In this case, the SIDs in the GTN are LNSAY5, PEBLE6, POGGI5 and BRDR7. IN P2ATC, it's ECHHO2, FALCC1, MMOTO2, SAYOW2 and BRDR7. The only common SID between the two is BRDR7. Why are these different? There are times when I want to do a flight but using voice interaction with P2A isn't possible. (wife is working in the office) Is it possible to use P2A using just the "say it" function and never have to verbally interact with the program and not have to open the UI once connected to the sim?

Actually, this is not so much a bug as an improvement proposal: would it be possible to add a feature where you could "restart" the ATC from a certain state of your flight - ie. pre-taxi - taxi out - departure - climb - cruise - descent - approach - taxi in? The reason I'm asking is I am from Finland and, while pretty fluent in English, sometimes P2A interprets my request wrong. Like two days ago - I landed on KORD and requested "request taxi to the gate". On my third attempt, P2A finally "recognized" my request - and started to give me the taxi out instructions to the active runway, although all I requested were the taxi-in instructions to the available gate! I have just purchased version 2.5.0.4. I cannot make any sense of the tutorial for flight planning as it is different. Even the screen layout is different. When I try to get as close as I can to the tutorial it sends me off into the Pacific. Alan
