Hi Dave, Running 2.5.0.6 R5, and getting a message saying can't calculate TOD as shown in the screen shot. My flight plan is: KTPA SYKES7 SIMMR REMIS Y280 LEV LINKK1 KIAH. I put in altitude of 32000, which should be attainable. screen shot: https://photos.app.goo.gl/essKAHDrkGSt21Ct7 Thanks, Joe

Not having any luck "working with" the P2ATC window in Vr. If I load Xplane from Oculus Home I can use Dash to bring in the P2ATC window and pin it. Problem is I can't interact with it in any way, without going back to the virtual desktop in Dash. Kind of defeats the whole purpose. Or, I can can use the "MoveVr" plugin for Xplane, and open the P2ATC window that way, but as above I can't interact with the window in anyway. Not using the touch controllers, or the virtual mouse. Is anyone able to interact with the P2ATC window while using the Oculus Rift in Xplane?

Pilot2Atc seems to use the very outdated FSX taxiway designations when compared to Navigraph chart taxiway designations. This makes it very difficult to take the correct taxiway routing to the active runway. Is there any way to get Pilot2Atc in sync with Navigraph charts? Regards Colin

After moving most of my sim time from P3D to X-Plane, I decided to try the P2A demo as using the built in X-Plane ATC is a no-go. Before trying it I was a bit concerned about the need to use voice control (so I thought), the size of the display on a single monitor, the use of TTS voices etc. However, I have to say after a few flights all of those concerns are a distant memory and now I’m kicking myself for not trying this sooner! In short, the interface and setup is well thought out and not time intensive to get a flight going, the actual ATC controlling is excellent, with enough user options to make it configurable to my needs, and with a few TTS voices installed …

I need some help. Departing from PAYA which is an uncontolled airport. This is what I did, but doesn't seem to be the proper procedure. 1. Called center and requested IFR clearance. 2. Got clearance and was told to call back for IFR release when number one for departure. 3. On the runway requested and obtained IFR release. 4. At 1000 feet reported back. "Callsign passing 1000" 5. Center replied, "I see there is an IFR flight plan filed for you, let us know when you are ready to copy" But I already got the clearance earlier on this same frequency. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Hello, when I fly longer flights, I usually take-off, climb to cruise, then go away and do something, returning at top of descent to do the rest of the flight. Is there a way to do this and pick up ATC comms when I return at TOD? Reading the forum it doesn't look like there's an option (yet) for the co-pilot to take over comms, but if I were to just stop talking to ATC would that create issues or would I be able to pick it up again when I return? Thanks,

Do not install the latest Navigraph AIRAC cycle, 1812 R1, as there appears to be something wrong with the files and they cannot be opened by SQL. Stay on your current version until this is resolved. Dave

When generating an autoplan the programme shoes the desired level on the right hand side but assigns the max level chosen at the departure airport, i.e FL90. However when I take off from a London airport and go to the FL shown the ATC kicks in and tells me to decend to FL40, I am sure this is correct but not sure why the programme is showing FL90 throughout the plan apart from the descent levels which are correct. Have I got a setting wrong for SID's?

I tried hard to find the answer, but i couldn't. I have an Cessna 172 airplane with tail number, say, G-BGMP (Registered in UK, and i want to fly in UK). So, when i am communicating with ATC, i want my Call sign be like "Golf Bravo Golf Mike Papa" - just my tail number. I entered Tail number, but it's required to fill Callsign in config. If i enter "Cessna", my call sign will be "Cessna Golf Mike Papa". In User Guide there being said "Valid General Aviation call signs include 3 types" and "a. Full Tail Number: November Three One Victor Bravo". But where is the option?

Have tried 2 flights with Pilot2ATC, and both times the ATC controller does not initiate a decent from cruise. I had to request a lower altitude before ATC would initiate descent and then when reaching that altitude, say 8000 ft, no further descent commands. I was over the airport before realising and had to go around and descend manually in order to capture ILS approach. ATC continued to insist that I "climb and maintain 8000 ft" and wouldn't shut up! This doesn't seem normal given that height constraints were contained within the filed flightplan. In P2ATC, does the pilot have to request the required descent path, or should ATC be initiating at the appropriat…

Hello guys. I need the input of someone smarter than me. What's the best way of making the TOD calculated by pilot2atc match my FMC's? Usually I fiddle with pilot2atc's descent rate value until both TODs match as close as possible. If I can't make them match exactly or am not in the mood to try different values, I often just request an enroute descent. Is there a better way? I'd appreciate any advice.

Hi Dave, when using Taxi Maintenance at some airports like EDDS the map does not show details. The picture is "washed out" (blurry). Is it possible for a future version of P2A to have an option to change the image to street or terrain view or an other source like in the "normal" ATC view? Regards, Markus

Should one expect to be told to climb to FL170 when the maximum altitude in the route is FL130? It makes a difference, since I'm flying a Cessna. Thanks.

Hi, in doing this export, I have some failures to list. I am exporting these p2atc ifr plans into the Reality GTN750 for import into its catalog. I have not added any user waypoints to the GTN750. FPN/RI:DA:KORH,:AA:KBDL (does not import; comma should not be there?) FPN/RI:DA:KORH:F:N42141W071595:AA:KBDL (does not import) FPN/RI:F:KORH:F:N42141W071595:AA:KBDL (does not import)

Hello everyone, With V 2.5.0.6, I made an EGLL-LFPG flight, I encountered two problems: 1 / Pilot2ATC gives me two different altitudes to reach: first FL110, second FL060. 2 / Pass BIBAX, while I'm on the right frequencies (automatic change checked and functional), more communications. PS: Tthe .pdf file of the communications and two screenshots. 1/ 2/ Accuracy: I flew twice and each time the same problems. Thank you in advance if you have an explanation.

Hi, I've had very positive trial and i wish to buy it. my only couple of concerns are as follows: 1) I have purchased a few ivona voice packs for another project, are they all (the English ones) compatible with P2A ? if so, and assuming i have a few, is there any way to randomize the voices and not pre configure them in the config page ?? 2) are there any free ATC chatter voice files available, or would I have to purchase x-atc chatter ? Thanks in advance, Paul.

I think I've seen this briefly mentioned in another thread somewhere here, but I've not found it, and in any case I think it deserves raising in profile.. I'm getting an error report and no voice sounding when voices from Cereproc are mixed with voices from Ivona as illustrated in this screen grab: VoiceCrash.jpg Both play fine if the other has not been previously played in this session. But once one sourced voice has been used, those from the other source will not play, getting this error every time. Voices from Harpo ("Vocalizer Expressive") and Microsoft mix with either and always play fine. I hope this can be resolved. I took advantage of the …

Hi Dave. I'm having a problem with a flight plan from YBCG to YWLM. I've tried it with both PFPX and Simbrief loading into P3Dv4. When I auto calculate after I import the flight plan I get a good TOD. After I've connected to the sim and try to file, I get an information box saying P2A was unable to calculate TOD adjust GS or descent rate. Any idea what might be causing this? PFPX flight plan: APAGI4 APAGI H62 ADMAR Q78 COOPA W606 WLM DCT FL360 Simbrief: DCT APAGI H62 SANAD W606 WLM DCT YWLM FL300

Okay, I need someone to point me in the right direction. When P2A clears me to use a STAR, I can descend to the published altitudes only if it's "Descend via the SID," correct? But if I am "cleared for the RNAV approach" then I can descend on my own to complete the approach as long as I obey any restrictions in the approach, correct? I was cleared for an RNAV approach and never given descent instructions which is why I'm asking. Thanks!
