hi, i decided to give a try on pilot2atc mainly because it works both on p3d v4 and xp 11. 1st thing i must say is that i dont know how to use it at all and i dont have any other experience with atc programs 🙂 so i have installed it, i opened it, and i pressed connect and everything was fine. i connected to p3d , i was in lgav airport in athens, that appeared to the map of pilot2atc. then i started making a flight plan: i was suprised how easy it was and without any reading of the manual or tutorial from youtube i did it !! lgav to loww (vienna), i put sid, stars, approach everything appeared right on the pilot2atc map. then i pressed saved and i chose the…

I am not sure if this is my problem, a computer/network problem, or a P2A problem. Any insight would be appreciated. For some reason P2A will stop responding, and at other times it will respond incorrectly. When it stops responding, if I disconnect and reconnect it seems to work again for a while. Also, if I close X-Plane before closing P2A, the P2A window goes away. No window, no icon in the tray, and it does not show up in task manager. If I try to re-launch P2A it says an instance is already running. I have to reboot the PC to clear it. I did a video yesterday of me in the sim. Hello I'm trialing Pilot2ATC with a view to purchase. My big Gottcha is that the Pilot2ATC window will not sit on top when I run XPlane across my 3 screen system. I have read threads here aimed at resolving this and implemented their "run across a Windows network" suggestions, but without success. I have a Win 10 server PC running XPlane 11 and a Win 10 Workstation PC with Pilot2ATC installed. I have XPUIPC installed on the Server and XPWideClient on the Workstation. First, I love the idea of this program, I purchased it to get a bit more realism in interacting with ATC in P3D V4. My goal was to talk to the virtual ATC controller during an entire flight using a headset. Speaking through a mike to get clearance or report as in the real world. Unfortunately, after installing, checking the user's guide, checking and double checking everything on this forum that made sense (language packs, etc.) I cannot talk to ATC. I set up the flight as in the tutorials, etc., the problems I saw are: 1. If I want to request a different arrival runway, what is the "window of opportunity" during which I can do that and have it approved?

1. Is is possible to request direct to a waypoint, or request a different altitude, using SayIt instead of the microphone? I can see the requests for these things in the grammer help, but I can't see a way to add the name of the waypoint or the altitude. 2. How do I declare a missed approach?

I Have not bought Pilot2atc yet but I do plan on it very soon, just wondering is it possible to play M3U file (live stream) for the chatter? If not would it be possible that it could be for future update? Thanks

Hi, sorry to bring this up again but I can't get any plans to show up in the GTN 750. there is a bit of confusion as to where the plans go, I have made an FPLN folder and placed it in a GTNNAVDATA folder as stated in the RXP manual page 9. But nothing comes up when I search on the gtn for flight plans in the flight plan catalog other than KPDX TO KPDX which I think is the demo flight plan included. Is there a step by step idiots guide on how to do this, i'm lost with this. I have the sid and star bit ticked on the set up page and the plans do export and go to the FPLN folder but nothing shows up. Thanks for any assistance with this.

For some reason I cannot file my flight plan, the button stays white. I can connect to the sim, centre aircraft etc and I can hear the atc voices but whenever I try to get clearance I get told to file my plan. Any ideas?

After much reading of the Book Of Words I made my first flight using P2ATC and FSX, the Aerosoft Airbus 320 from Lisbon to Munich using Active Sky weather. Very impressive! Everything seems to be working as it should. A couple of things I would like to put on the wish list... 1. The option to have the text of atc communications also displayed in the FSX scrolling text window. 2. The option to have the program randomly choose which voices to use, rather than assigning a particular voice to a particular controller. Looking forward to the next flight. And the next.... 😃

Pilot2ATC v 2.5.0.7x64 I am trialing this for the first time in X Plane 11. Fairly new to flight simming. I wish to use Pilot2ATC without microphone, using the SayIt function. I can load the program successfully and connect it to X Plane (green lights and program states that it is connected to the X Plane flight. Flight planning also seems OK), but I cannot get the SayIt function to work. When I bring up the Speech Assistant to make contact with the program, it is blank with no phrases to select. Hi, Dave I am a new customer and just brought your product and it has been performing very well. Thank you. Have a quick question: How do I do a Class B/C to Class B/C VFR flight without flight following? The way I am doing it now is filing a VFR flight plan, then contact delivery to copy the VFR clearance. But then clearance will assign me to depart with flight following. What is the correct way to request for the VFR flight? I want the approach to tell me to squawk VFR and just send me away. Thanks.

Greetings All, I was hoping for some help with an issue I've been experiencing and trying to troubleshoot for the last few days without success. I have purchased a copy of Pilot2ATC and have installed the Lorby Addon manager per the instructions in the guide (installed into my main P3Dv4 directory where the .exe is located) and have run the export feature in the addon manager so that the Pilot2ATC can read my complete scenery library including all the addons. After using the export feature the window in the Lorby addon manager instructs you to leave the window open and run the scenery scan in the 3rd party software (Pilot2ATC) before clicking the restore scenery.cfg…

Good evening, I had my first successful VR flight flight using P2A and XP 11.30rc2 . I was using WMR Samsung Odyssey plus + MoveVR plugin. I would love to use voice to manipulate Pilot2ATC UI and here are some example. I recently noticed that the weather shown for an airport in P2ATC does not match what's going on in XP11 (11.32r). E.G: I'm currently at KSAN, planning a flight to KBFI. In XP11 I see winds of 2 kts at 34 (confirmed by XP11 ATIS voice and Data Output window). Now I go to P2ATC where I see winds of 3 kts at 339 (again confirmed by both on-screen display, as well as P2ATC ATIS voice). Whilst the speeds are similar, there is a 55 degree difference between what P2ATC believes the wind to be, compared to what the wind ACTUALLY is in XP11. Among other things, this causes P2ATC to pick takeoff runways for my flight plans which are wholly inappropriate based on act…

I use the copilot to respond to ATC and switch the radio frequencies but now I get no text response choices in the P2A speech assistant. I have updated to the X64 version. What setting have I missed?

All of a sudden, P2ATC will not connect to P3d v4.4. I haven't changed anything since the last time I used it. Have there been any changes? Or should I reinstall?

Hi. Is there an option to tell controllers to speak more slowly? Ideally I guess you could say that verbally but is there a speed choice either within the interface or perhaps by changing the Windows text-to-speech settings? I ask because although Pilot2ATC looks very good, the controllers seem to speak very quickly. I know that you can either read the text as it appears on screen, and/or click the button to get the 'copilot' to read back for you. Just wondered if it was possible to slow down the audio a bit for us noobs? Thanks. (Sorry, I did try searching the forums but couldn't find any relevant results)

The volume buttons in Config\voices doesn't make any difference. Should they? I ask because I am trialling some Harpo Nuance voices and they are quite loud.

Please change the show traffic button. All the button in that tray are toggle (on/off) except this one. In VR I can't tell which mode is selected. I would rather have two different buttons one for Air Traffic on/off and Ground Traffic on/off.
