Hello Folks; I am trying to get a definitive answer if P2ATC can auto generate a full flight plan like a stand alone flight planner FsCommander, Sim Brief) does? Maybe not as exact but close enough to enjoy the sim. I read the manual and I have seen comments on forums but they seem to contradict each other. Maybe "full flight plan and 'flight plan" makes the difference. The manual stated that a flight plan can be generated by entering the Departing and a Destination Airports then a basic route will be created, point A to Z straight line route. Hello, I'm having a certain trouble with RNAV approach that kept reverted automaticaly to ILS upon sending the flightplan. What should I do to keep it the wayi want, not the way the system want ? It's gettnig frustrating at the end. If the FP is VFR, the approach doesn't revert back to ILS, which is not exactly a good thing imo... thanks.

Initially I was able to get connected but after putting my departure and arrival airport in, I would go to press the SID button and the program would freeze up. I closed it out and restarted it and it did the same thing, 3 times. So I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it, updated to the most recent AIRAC; after loading when I try to connect it freezes up and now crashes X-Plane. I love this program, but it has become completely unusable to me recently. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, Today i planned a flight from the TBM hatchery (LFBT) to Bordeaux (LFBD). To do that, i used navigraph and selected the proper SID/STAR... and export the FP to xplane. Once imported into P2A, the validation gave a weird error: "The star and approach must be the same runway. the actie runway at Merignac (bordeaux) is rnw5" which one the one i selected... I had to redo them to pass that error. FP: LFBT LMB1M LMB VAVIX VAVI9L RNAV RW5 via DIRAX LFBD A file parsing error maybe ? Thx Erich

I downloaded a demo version of X-ATC Chatter from X-Plane.org and installed it in Pilot2atc as shown in the video-tutorial, but I can not hear any sound from X-ATC at all. Hho can help me Eberhard

Howdy! Nearing the end of my trial period using the P2A application and would like to purchase! However, I primarily fly using a Rift in VR. I've spent the past several days trying to utilize P2A in VR. It is probably not intended to be used in VR since it's interaction occurs in separate window but I was wondering if anyone has managed to integrate P2A's use while flying VR. It's possible to bring an external window into your FOV in VR, just haven't found a way to interact with P2A as you would in 2D. Thanks in advance for any advice! G

So I’m making a flight plan to KDEN (Denver) to KMCO (Orlando) and I’m listening to the ATIS and got the departing runway and placed that into my simbrief but how can I get the arrival runway for Orlando so that it is the correct one for their arrivals?? Would I have to change it getting closer to Denver which would seem quite challenging as I’m trying to descend and begin my approach. How would I get my arrival runway from KDEN for KMCO ATIS? Also, How can I get WorldTraffic3 to also use the correct runways for arrivals and departures so that it’s all synced and correct so I don’t have planes landing as I’m taking off. Hi, New Pilot2ATC customer - been using proatcX for years and didn't realize there was a considerably better program on offer, well done to the P2ATC devs! Just one problem which I'm sure is something I've done wrong. I bought the x-atc-chatter and copied the files into the sounds directory as per the manual. I set the root directory as "[p2atcpath]\sounds" and then loaded P2ATC - for the first few seconds I heard A LOT of chatter but it was one file after another so I set the min and max delay between files. Now I'm not hearing anything during a whole flight. If anyone could help me it'd be greatly appreciated.

Hello guys. The AI traffic that X-plane generates is displayed perfectly on my moving map, except for one little thing: when I click on a plane to see its details, Pilot2atc always show their route as EDDM to EDDT. I'm guessing this is an x-plane limitation and there is nothing to do short of installing a traffic plugin or addon?

I am practicing with the grammar helper and notice that many ICAO are not recognized correctly. I first tought it was my headphone mic not working correctly and bought a high end quality headset. Unfortunately, this did not solved the problem. As an example, when I read "Say weather at KSLC for <Callsign>, the Practice speech window will show Q instead of Kilo on many occasions. The same thing happens for many other letters (Echo, Hotel,etc) Am I missing something here ?

Dave, I have a problem with the import of a .fms file. When I import a .fms file and validate it, I get a error "The STAR and Approach in the flight plan must be to the same Runway", but they do. I need to choose and reload the STAR/Transition and Approach/Transition for the validate to work. I have checked ATC Assigns SIDs/STARS/Approaches in Flt Pln in the P2A Config. Planning my flight from KBOS P2A suggested runway was 33L. SID was LBSTA6. Flight plan was filed as such. When getting my clearance I was told to expect 22R and the LBSTA6 SID 'as filed'. LBSTA6 has a different set of waypoints out of KBOS for 22R vs. 33L (begins w/ TJAYY vs. KIRAA) which isn't a problem except that I have filed w/ runway 33L so the flight plan in P2A now isn't going to match. I didn't see the flight through as I find it frustrating to put in all the time to prep and then have to abort after takeoff, but if I had would P2A have known not to follow the flight plan that I f…

Haven't done any VFR flights in ages, but for some reason have gotten the itch to do so (my doctors says there's a spray for that 😮). There's not much info on VFR in the docs and I'm trying to figure out what the VFR capabilities of P2A are. For starters, can I fly VFR without filing a flight plane and/or without flight following, but still be able to tune unicom and announce my position and intentions?

every time I load P2ATC and my Xplane 11 in an untowered airport it will not tune to center to receive Clearence before takeoff even if I manually adjust the frequency using the freq fuction I hit the speech assistant and it shows up blank ive reinstalled P2ATC two times now with no difference I have no clue what is going wrong as this program worker perfectly a month ago for me

I'm hoping for some guidance here. I'm working on updating an airport and I want to make sure it works as well as possible with both WW3 and P2A. I've successfully designated a hold-short taxiway node that shows up correctly that way in the Taxiway Maintenance tool by appending the string "Hold Short" to the node's name in WED as explained on page 128 of the P2A User's Manual. I'm wanting to do the same procedure for all my ILS_Hold_Short nodes but the manual does not mention doing that. Hi. I do most of my flying in Europe and I am finding that the flight level rules sometimes differ between Simbrief and P2ATC. For example flying from Rome to Palma (LIRF-LEPA), SB will plan me an odd level FL290, but on importing the plan into P2ATC, the latter will "correct" this to FL300. Trying to manually override this does not work. Hi Dave, I am currently rebuilding the airport KFAY. It has two GA parking lots on opposite sides of the airport. If I request parking to the "GA parking ramp", I am routed to the main ramp next to the tower. I was just trying some things and happened to "request taxi to GA 30" (GA 30 is the name of one of the ramp starts in the secondary GA parking lot) and the ground controller mistook what I said for "GA Ramp 0" and lo and behold directed me to the secondary GA parking! Though I was happy to discover what now to call this second parking, how does P2A get this "GA Ramp 0" string? I'm looking through apt.dat and see only one related line: "110 1 0.35 32.…

I seem to remember a while ago I read a PDF tutorial on IFR and VFR flight using Pilot2ATC. It went for a few pages and and covered a whole flight from start up to touch down. I have purchased and downloaded chatter. I understand how to install the controller files into P2A from watching the tutorials. I routinely switch from US flying to other countries and it looks I can install all of the folders into P2A but I am not sure of the the file structure there. In the manual regions are defined for the US as K1, K2 etc but looking inside of the chatter folders I only see US titles. How do you separate these into the “K” regions or is that necessary? Same pertains to the other regions, Europe, Africa etc. From the manual and tutorial I believe that I need the following: P2A..Sounds..ATC-Chatter..US and then copy the files from the Control…
