P2A 2.5.0.6 R6 XP11.26 1. Need FL375. P2A forces FL380, will not allow FL375. 2. What is the correct way to change flight plan altitude without having to validate and file the flight plan every time? Thnx.

Hi Dave, I have been using P2A a lot recently and have noted that, when I first load a flight plan - even before the sim is connected, that P2A puts a magenta line on the destination airport indicating the preferred approach. Fine, but after I connect the sim (and force real time weather), approach continues to recommend a runway that is not correct for the wind. Usually it is the same one as the magenta line. BTW, I have P2A set to use the sim weather. It would be nice if P2A would check the sim wind at the time when Center turns control over to Approach so that Approach recommends a runway that is appropriate. Am I missing something that I should be doing…

Hi everyone, first I wanted to say that I have been having a lot of fun with Pilot2Atc recently. After being a user for about 8 months and slowly learning the ins and outs, still almost every time I use it I discover some new capability and I am simply amazed at how in-depth the experience is and how deep this rabbit hole goes. 🙂 As someone working on professional flight planning software for airlines I must say that I am deeply impressed with the scope of this tool! It would be nice to add a navigation tracking capability to the moving map. I like to fly light aircraft, not many of which are equipped with an FMS. The GNS530 and kin seem very limited in their ability to use imported Flt plans that contain unknown waypoints and to be honest are very difficult to to program directly. I know I could purchase a portable FMS but perfer to fly to the spirit of the make and model I'm flying. This may be too much to ask but is it possible to add an autoheading feature to your moving map so the aircraft will track the pilot2atc flt plan track. I believe it would really add value to your great program.

Morning, I have been trying P2ATC on a networked machine in Trial mode. Firstly I am really impressed with the product, the only issue I have at the moment is that there is a lag of up to 20-60 seconds when changing frequencies. Is this normal at all and has anyone experienced this. ? I have a reasonable computer that it runs on and noticed in the task manager, it requires quite a bit of memory

I'm trying to download the latest version from the website to re-install (previous buyer and want to use it again) but none of the downloads appear to be present. When selecting the download button it downloads another html file, then I click the download button on that and 'Your file was not found' messages appears on another (otherwise blank) web page. Hi, I've been having some issues with Pilot2ATC. Xplane. 1) "Sayit" button doesn't do anything I can't pop it up to do any of the voice training anymore. 2) I constantly get ATC asking me to climb and maintain a flight level even though I am at that flight level. I've tried going up and down 500 metres and I've even set the altitude variance to 500 then 600 then 1000. Didn't make any difference. I also did see when descending that it would still say climb and maintain flight level #, it seems like its not tracking the flight altitude? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I can not found the installer for "Microsoft speech recognizer 8 for Windows (english us)". I wanted to let you all know about a new X_Plane Add-on that I have been using with P2ATC. Yesterday I made my Virtual Airline flight from KORD to KSEA; what follows is a brief description of that Flight: On Taxi at KORD I saw many aircraft moving on Taxi, Take-off, and on Finial Approach. As I was following my taxi instructions and got close to runway hold point I was told to line up and wait, as 2 planes were ahead of me (and thats what I saw 2). Once I was next in line for T/O I called tower for clearance and was cleared but warned of possible wake turbulence ( a 767 had just landed). In P2ATC it shows GS and TAS. In planes, the speed tape shows IAS. Often, the IAS is lower then the GS, especially in high winds. ATC gets confused because I think it's using GS, but should be using IAS?

Hello P2A Support, after spending a lot of time i can't fix the problem of my speech recognition of P2A. My Windows 10 computer setup is ok and i can use the internal speech recognition of microsoft very well. I have checked out all troubleshooting hints in the documentation, but the speech recognition of P2A doesn't work. I had tried differnt microphones. Logitech HD Webcam C615 (USB), Sennheiser PC-3 (3.5mm jack). My motherboard is a ASUS Z270F with a internal Realtek High Definition Audio system. Any hints what i can check out? Regards Tom

Following radio check to ensure microphone is working I have loaded the grammar helper. After selecting the phrase, Practice and PTT buttons the speech window displays "Full Txt;" No text is ever displayed. The phrase can be heard when the listen button is pressed. Similarily the Pilot2ATC languague trainer after selecting the controller and pressing the Train button no . The voice training screen never appears. If I return to main P2ATC window voice command are heard correctly. Is the grammar training disabled in teh trial version? I have tried to insert the log file in case this helps.

I'm using V2.5.0.7_x64 and pointing the Active Sky folder in the config to C:\user\name\AppData\HiFi\AS_XP\Weather. P2ATC is reporting the weather as Clear, Winds light and variable QNH 0000 which I assume means that it thinks something is available but not reading it correctly. I am also pointing LittleNavMap weather to the same folder for ASXP and it shows the correct weather matching ASXP. Following a vector approach to final with the AP in heading mode P2ATC commanded: - for ILS to runway Two Four fly heading Two One Two to intercept final. The pilot (me) immediately moved heading bug to 212 and Saab 340 turned to 212. However by the time turn completed the plane was on correct heading for runway but displaced to left of the approach as can be seen in the attached flight path picture attached. My question is does P2ATC or indeed ATC in general expect turns to be made at a specific rate? How should this type of instruction be flown correctly? I cannot export flight plans from pilot2atc to the FPLN folder of the Reality XP GTN, the export page just sits there until I uncheck the export option. The program exports to the Reality GNS 530 folder just fine but not to the GTN 750. Any others having this?

While I was practicing takeoff and landing in San Juan PR, TJSJ in a helicopter (Bell 429) start wandering if P2A support helicopters. By reading some safety rules I found the following; "While it's unusual for an airplane to land or takeoff from other than the runway, there's often no reason why helicopter operations need to be tied to the runway surface. About to pull the trigger on this great application after the test period, but I am confused about something. Listening to ATIS at KMSP, the wind was (accurately) reported as 31017G28, but the runway in use for arriving and departing aircraft was 22. With that wind, is there a reason why the active runway wasn’t 30L and/or 30R?

This is not a bug with P2Atc, I think, but for a change I decided to fly to Calgary CYYC today and P2ATC correctly gave me instructions to approach and land at runway 17L but P3Dv4 has the runway as 16 with a different ILS frequency. So P2ATC correctly told me off for landing on the wrong runway when I did land on 16! I don't understand how the data in P3D can be different from that used by P2ATC. Is there a way to make sure both sets of data correspond?

Hello, I'm trying this add-on and I'm loving it. The copilot handling the communication it's a very good feature, but a little strange for me. For instance, If I ask for taxi clearance, it's the copilot that make the acknowledge instruction. For example, I would like to make all the communication until takeoff and then assign the copilot to do it, or only if I don't acknowledge, the copilot will do. Is there any hotkey to enable/disable the copilot handling communications or some config that I'm missing? Thanks in advance.

(1) I'm about ready to buy but someone please answer these Three questions? I do not have a mike or headset right now. Can I use all the benefits of PTAC By just using the sayit function? (2) Does using the auto pilot function follow the flight plan as a FMC or Garmen GPS might. (3) Do all the functions work With A2A and Flight 1 aircraft?
