I like to fly as real as possible, i use "ATC assigns approaches" and consequently almost all the approaches are ILS ones because it assigns the most precision available. In real world as we know sometimes ILS's are out of order or the glideslope does not work forcing a LOC approach and so on. My suggestion/question to Dave, is possible to implement random approaches? similar to the already implemented random sids and starts? Thanks.

hi, after upgrading from windows 7 to windows 10 by Windows10Upgrade I got the message "the application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142) Click OK to close the application". All other applications and programs (X-Plane, P3D, etc.) are running without any problems. Thanks in advance for any hints, Dscho

I've not had time to fly with P2A for a while, but i've been keeping it updated. I'm on 2.6.0.0_x64_R3. Today, first use for a long while, the Say It short cut keypress I've assigned (F2) no longer works. It makes no difference if I clcik on P2A first, to give it focus, or not. I can only use if by clicking on the button in the P2A window. Pete

I haven't found any hand holding tutorials to walk me through initial configs and first flight... I was able to power through a VFR Flight - a few issues came up - I get the flight planning part... First off - I maxed the volume in the "config" for all the voices and I turned down my P3D sounds - I can barely hear the voices and had to read them from the dialog box... I've recently started to use AIG traffic, and in busy areas like London there are lots of them about. I seem to get many more alerts, one after the other, than I thought would be allowed by the parameters in P2A: No.Joy Traffic Alert Interval (Secs) = 60. Sighted Traffic Alert Interval (Secs) = 180. So am I misinterpreting these? Is that the repetition rate for the SAME alerts. I think now it must be. So, what's the recommended way of reducing the number of alerts other than by reducing my AI Traffic levels? Pete

Hi i am using random voices for atc and a specific voice for my first officer. However his voice is also being used as ATC, is there a Way to undo that so his voice is only used for co-pilot? best regards

Hi Dave I use your product a lot, but we want some more excitement, it tried to look for that feature in the documentation, but couldn't find it. Is there a way to have "emergency situation", like reporting "mayday", "declaring emergency", "request victors to nearest tower" or " rejected takeoff" when a failure occur on the airplane, or even "sick passenger on board, request returning back" . I have updated to R3 of 2600 and have been getting this error when I try to start the program: Unable to initialize Database The underlying provider failed to Open. An attempt to attach an auto named daatabase for file C:\Pilot2ATC_2018_x64\Data\P2ABaseData.mdf failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share. I'm not sure how to fix this. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Michael.

Happens every couple of weeks. The dropdown menu for commands is suddenly blank. The only way to get the commands back is to reinstall P2ATC. It's starting to get frustrating. Any tips? Win10/p3d4.4.

For some reason I am having trouble P2A not recognizing my voice. When I am in the grammar help window it works perfectly fine; however, when I try to do it normally it doesn't catch anything.

Hello, I'm having an issue on my transatlantic routes with the chatter files when I switch over to Shanwick Center or any other center in that EU region. I'm expecting the chatter files to switch over to my EG folder, but they stick to the original US folder from my departure airport. I'm wondering if this is expected, or a bug. So, im just flying on the J6 towards Cincinnati and there is an Alt Restriction to FL320 on parts of that route. P2A knows that there is a restriction and it even plans with the restriction yet the ATC voice is nagging me to climb to FL360 anyway. How do you get P2A to understand that there are step alts?

Hi all wonderful pilots out there, it's a shame that I'll been flying with pilot2atc almost more than a year and yet i have never complete my flight to the Gate instead i log out after landing runway til recently i try to taxi to the dest. airport gate and request for taxi to gate but ATC instead of instructing me to gate , instruct taxiways to runway OR sometimes i contact Ground requesting taxi to the gate the Gnd will ask me to contact Tower ,then Tower ask me to contact Gnd . so i surely missing something in the setting . i'll been searching how to set in the manu with no result can anybody help ? sorry for poor english..

Dave in an earlier post I saw a question, can I fly VFR without filing a flight plane and/or without flight following. You answered yes you can. You should be able to make all the legitimate calls to Towers, Ground, etc., and as in real life, flight plans are optional. I have tried several times doing this without any success. I'll establish an airport to take off from. Contact ground for taxi, and tower for takeoff clearance, then take off for several different airports but can never make contact using the tower frequency. Am I missing something or doing something wrong?

Hi all Whenever you are using this panel, it always reverts to the top commands when you open it, eg Request and IFRRlease. It would be handy if you could click on, for example taxi and close the window and next time you open the window taxi is shown instead of IFRRelease. In other words it remembers your last selection. This would be handy if you are going to pre mediate your commands. Does anyone know if this is possible. I hope that I am clear. Thanks.

I'm using a 10 day trial of Pilot2ATC and will buy after that. I've been using all the features for 2 days now and love it but one thing I'm a little confused about. When I file the flight plan I assumed it was putting it in the FMC on the aircraft but it's not. Is Pilot2ATC suppose to put the plan in the FMC or do I have to enter it manually. I'm using P3D V4. I have a dream, a dream that one day will exist a flight simulator for PC that doesn't need plugins, addons, tweakings, installations, inventions and other things that give us headaches, time consumption and wallet vacuum... until then they are part of this wonderful world that we all like so much, the addons, they make our simmer prettier, more realistic, more immersive. If you use both Pilot2ATC and World Traffic 3, you likely have faced the same challenges I have trying to integrate them. I had been using P2A for a while when I first purchased WT3. It was a perfectly calm afternoon at Raleigh-Durham and without giving it a lot of thought asked the ground controller for taxi instructions to the "active" runway. I got clearance for takeoff and pulled out on the runway to began my departure. Just before rotation, here comes a 737 touching down on the other end of the runway and heading straight toward me! hello !!!! I create a flight plan with p2atc including sid and star , and export to Gtn750 folder C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers\Databases\FPLN i am using the last airac 1908 rev1 in both. I try to load the FP in the gnt750 but it fail !!! Any suggestion ??? i also notice that the Sid and star between P2atc and the garmin are different .

hi, i am trying to set up p2atc properly but i am still having difficutlies in playing back what i say or hear ATC. i configured everything and it clearly accepts my speeches and answer back but only as text, not as voice whatsoever. i tried then with grammar helper and it does understand fully what i say (Beech November Bravo Niner ready to copy) but pressing replay i cannot hear anything When i connect to ATIS i hear it properly what am i doing wrong? thanks Peter

I've assigned Ctrl+F1 to PTT and Ctrl+F2 to "SayIt". But neither seem to do anything. Well, not that I can see. Should there be any feedback on these hotkeys, such that one can see it is working -- eg the PTT button lighting its green border when the key combo is pressed? Because at present I can't work out what is wrong. On my cockpit installation I've not even got as far as getting clearance! :-( Pete

The TOD Pilot2Atc gives me is way past the one the Toliss A319 does even when using the exported fms file from Pilot2Atc as the source for the FMC in the plane. If I follow the decent advice from Pilot2Atc I am way too high on approach. If I use the guidance on the FMC in the plane all is good, what am I missing?

Here is the case: A flight from KBOS (boston) to 0B1 which is a simple low altitude route. I'm using navigraph and both Xplane, P2A are up to date (1908). I let navigraph generating a FP and I got something that worked for me: KBOS/RW33L HYLND5 HYLND DCT NEETS 0B1/R32-Y Then i imported it into P2A and noticed the destination airport got missing! The last entry is NEETS. I added the missing airport and looked to set the approach i wanted (RNAV) and things got even more confused as no airways are showing in the destination approach popup. Saving that modified FP didn't produced any file at all. I deleted the FP and recreate one usin…
