Hi! I just got the issue that the required frequency for clearance (in this case radar control) is same as some other frequency (also radar control), if I try to use a alternate frequency he says "check your frequency and try again). I developed a very strange problem last few flights. Where on take off and initial climb out ATC all of a sudden triggers itself into the approach mode to the same airport that I just left. It goes like this for example "climb and maintain 4000", "climb and maintain 12000" and then all of a sudden "expect VOR approach at departure airport descent and maintain blah blah". I've tried restarting P2A and rebooting the PC but problem still reappears. Also the text 2 speech is getting a bit garbled up and cutting off mid sentence which I did not have issue with before. Hi, Prior to the last update I used to be able to open the arrival airport INFO - GATES and highlight/select a gate then close the dialog box. When I arrived and requested TAXI TO THE GATE, P2ATC would send me to that gate. Now it seems to default to the first gate in the list. You can see this close and then reopen the dialog box. What I do now is I select the gate but never close the dialog box. Is this behavior been adjusted and is now just part of the update? Random voice setting is fantastic, I recall requesting this a few times in the past, thank you. What about a toggle for setting the random vectors to end in 10's (or even 5's) - "... heading 340 …

Just a curiosity question. For future versions are there any plans to add logic for random holds, diversions and go arounds?

Hi Dave, I've been using your program for about a month now and am very satisfied with it. So far I've had no problems whatsoever. I think personally that it is the best ATC product available on the market right now especially with the voice interaction. Today I tried a flight from EGKK to LGTS but after validating the plan every time I tried to file it, it caused the program to crash. P3D continues running ok, it's just P2A that disappears. I use Simbrief to create the plans and import them into P2A. I've made sure that my Navigraph cycle is the same for Simbrief/P2A/PMDG so there should be no disharmony there. I keep having issues when trying to import data from XPlane into P2ATC. I have tried selecting the root folder as well as my custom scenery folder but no luck. It keeps telling me it cant find anything. Can anyone offer any help regarding this. Thank you for your time.

I wrote a stupid simple script that receives as input an mp3 file (i.e. LiveATC archive) and partitions the file into audio chunks based on silences that measure X seconds or longer (parameterized). I have about a few hundred of these chunks in my output folder after a few test files. Can I randomize their respective folder's playback based on what frequency I am currently at?

I have the above option ticked.Even if I create a flight plan with a very low,,unacceptably low ,altitude and click validate the software does not complain.In older version the software would change the altitude for me.Not anymore.If I try to cross the alps at 2000 the software accepts the altitude no problem .Not sure why it happens ? ->http://postimg.org/image/tm9x2si19/

hi, I am trying out pilot2atc during trial period and I was hoping to find a way to toggle pilot2atc window on top only when I need to check something, I prefer to keep my p3d sim in full screen and like to keep as little clutter as possible on the screen. Would love to hear from anyone who might know if this is possible. I am ok with having a small screen that would display the text of the atc comms, I have tried resizing the window so all I would see is the text but have not had any luck. Thanks in advance. I filed a flight plan from ESGP Säve to ESMG Feringe. I also enabled real time weather (both in P2A and Xplane11). Then the filed flight plan was assigned 3500 ft altitude. And that altitude got me inside clouds which would mean no approved VFR. I think that P2A here should assign me a lower altitude below the clouds. I have also find that it is not possible to manually select a altitude lower than 3500 ft. Why ? Another question. I made the plan a direct ESGP to ESMG and that took the route just in front of the runway of ESGG Landvetter with airliner traffic. Would this be approved in real life ? It seem risky to fly where airliners are landing and departing.

In my IFR flight plan I filed for FL230. Upon climbout was given various altitudes to climb to. Upon reaching FL200 ATC controller kept telling me to descend and maintain FL200, while all the time I'm at FL200. So I commenced a climb to FL230 to see what would happen and about FL225 I was told to expedite descent to FL200. So I go back to FL200 and for 2.5 hours about every 20-30 seconds ATC kept telling me to descend and maintain FL200. I was also using Little NavMap and it said my actual altitude was 20,459. So I decided to descend to 19,500 and all of a sudden the calls to descend to FL200 stopped. Altimeter setting was correct at 29.92 so I'm still not sure wh…

Hey Dave im a bit confused with the descend my flight plan in my FMC is the same like the one from pilot2ATC,I created the FP with simbrief then on P2ATC I just do the AutoPlan. then when that it’s done I Export tothe fmc but when is time to descend the TOP on FMC is different from the one on p2atc. so am I supposed to descend according to what it says on the FMC or when the ATC tells me to descend? Hi there, I was wondering. I use a small MIMO USB screen for displaying A2A on a remote client. I notice that because of this screen al lot of buttons, information, can not be reached. Is there a way to get all display on this small screen too? I have tried it by pulling some side to the left or to the right, but still a lot of information can't be shown. Hi All, I just purchased Traffic Global and I think it is pretty good. It add life to airports without impacting framerate, which is necessary in VR. I have one question to other users of Traffic Global with P2A. How do you do to ensure the active runway(s) in P2A match the active runway(s) used by AI traffic? I'm currently checking and modifying all the apt.dat files using WED to ensure the rules for AI are what I want and match the runway usage I set in P2A. However, I still have issues (in my last landing on 07 in EDDS, I saw a plane taking off from 25…). So how do you do to prevent this? Also, @Dave, does P2A read the traffic flow in the apt file o…

Hi there, I am using P2A for some weeks now and I love it! I have tried some other simular programs, but this one is the best. For the time now, I have never seen any other planes that should be generated via P2A on the ground and in the air. Can anyone of you tell me how I can make these P2A traffic visible please? Hi Dave I am still having issues with P2A and TOD. Even though I am inputting values into P2A for G/S, V/S and altitude so as to ensure that the TOD is further from the destination than the TOD that the PMDG737 is giving me, P2A seems to not want to give me descent clearance. When it looks as though I am going to go past my FMC TOD I am requesting a lower altitude from P2A, which is given but I have to keep requesting further descent to get down to just before the start of the STAR at which point P2A will give me clearance to fly the STAR. I really don't know what I am doing wrong. Can you help? As an aside, in real life pilots contact ATC just before TOD with t…

Dave, Does P2A support diversions to other airports? For example, if forced to do a Go-Around, and it appears the weather will not improve, can the pilot request diversion to another airport, or can a flight plan, or diversion airport entry be put into P2A for the purpose of diversion? Bill Clark

Hi there I usually don’t use ATC but decided to give this a try since there’s the 10 day free trial. What i will need to know is when I’m getting reading for my approach and closer to my TD will the ATC give me instructions to descend and give me the vectors for my approach or do I have to contact ATC first? i know with my times using FSX ATC will contact me and tell me to descend etc etc. do I just follow my flight plan or do I get in touch with ATC or will they contact me to give me procedures for my approach? last night I did a short flight and everything went well but I flew over my destination and ATC never told me to descend.

When I switch frequency from ATIS /EGGW @ 120.575 to ClrDel/ EGGW @121.875 I get ATIS still messaging over the air wave ? making it difficult to speak to Clr/Del Is there something I could be doing wrong or could this be some sort of glitch ? When requesting to Taxi to Fuel. Where is Pilot2ATC getting the location information? Its typically incorrect. However I have not found a way to change it in Taxi Maint. Thanks.

So I have twice in 2 flight I had ATC Asking me to climb (FL80) as planned, but then I get calls that I need to decend (Altitude Restrictions in the SID) How do I stop this happening?

Good evening Have a couple of questions not finding an answer in the manual or maybe simply going blind :). 1) Is it possible to enter lat/long coords with higher degree of precision? Trying to enter 6000N14920W for example and P2ATC is not liking it. 2) Is it possible to drag around a user created waypoint to see how it changes the routing? 3) Is it possible to override IFR approach requirement during planning phase and force user designed approach?
