Hi all, I've just installed a replacement Saitek Pro Yoke and can't get the PTT button to respond to P2ATC. I've gone into the config utility, captured the PTT switch and when I use it the green "PTT" box on P2ATC is highlighted but doesn't switch off. In other words the transmission is stuck "on". If I click on the PTT box it will disconnect and the voice command will be processed normally. Can someone tell me what's gone wrong? Cheers Warwick

Hi I'am all new to P2ATC and I love it so far. I mainly fly small GA airplanes like the cessna 172 of x-plane. I do find the legs of the patterns to be very short, much shorter than I'm used to. i.e. Coming in to land the "final" leg is only like 0.3nm long.. Is there a way to manipulate that distance? p.s. how do I add a screenshot to this post? thx. in advance Nick

Ce qui m'intéressait dans cet addon c'est surtout d'éviter une saisie fastidieuse dans le MCDU.Je voudrais en avoir le cœur net avant d'acheter !

Hi all I am using xplane and the Zibo mod. I have spent 8 of the 10 day trial tinkering with pilot2atc. I have it networked to the flight sim PC on a laptop that is a few years old and struggles to run pilot2atc. It takes 4 minutes to even load... Before buying the program and possibly a new laptop/desktop I am hoping someone can tell me exactly how the auto pilot interacts with xplane. I used pilot2atc to set up a flight from EGCC to EGGW. Validated it. Filed it. Exported it to xplane and then used it from the FMC as a Co route. Is the pilot2atc autopilot supposed to replace the xplane autopilot? Or is it supposed to work together …

Pilot2ATC works perfectly for 90% of my flight, but near the end of each flight, after ATC hands me off to the Tower at my destination airport, ATC tells me to contact Approach. On my last flight, Tower had already cleared me to land when I was instructed to contact Approach again. Most of my flights have been in Southern California, and I thought that, by coincidence, my destination airports were close to the edge between ATC areas, and that is why I was being handed off to Tower (always at 11 NM from my destination) and then being told to contact Approach again. My last flight, though, was in Texas, so it would be an astonishing coincidence if my destination was at the …

I'm running p2a on the network and the sound is shared with my p3d machine via multiplicity.basically I hear both atc and p3d in my headphones. Thing is p2a atc volume is way too low and I can't hear it. I can't figure out how to turn it up . Any help appreciated.

Hi all I'm suffering a weird issue with P2A volume. The matter is that the level of volume in P2A is quite normal until the moment FSX is running, then the volumen goes down to unaudible, then, if I pause FSX, it goes up once again. I'm looking everywhere on the configurations of the system with no success. I would really apretiate any help on this matter, becouse I'm so lost about it. Hello, I am a current ProATC/X user. I have been using that program for about a year now and it’s a nice ATC program for what it’s worth. Recently I heard the news that updates for it have gone cold with no info from the developer and he hasn’t been in contact with any of the moderators on the forums over there. This has prompted me to start looking for another ATC program that I know will still be active with updates for the foreseeable future. One thing I loved about the default ATC was VFR flying which I truly miss and ProATC doesn’t have it at all... I hear this program has VFR? Also before I purchase I want to know if this program requires you to speak to it or can i…

I love this app, but it has lethal flaws which completely screw everything/ Attempted to import some taxiways and gates, but they did not exist, then I could not exit the Taxi Management window, so then had force close the whole program, which obviously destroys the whole process as you cannot start another instance of P2ATC cos it thinks there is one already running (a problem since forever)..... Hello, It's been 2 days since I bought the license pilot2atc, and I still have not received my registration numbers.

It wasn't this bad before I upgraded from 2.5 to the latest. Example, flight from MMUN to TJSJ, on the HECA1A departure. "Climb via the SID" So I do. Sid has me at 5,000 feet for the next fix. "Climb and maintain FL210." OK... Probably means via the sid. I'll stay here till I cross the next point. Nope. "Expedite climb to FL210." So I start climbing to 210, and it tells me to descend to 5,000 until crossing the next point. So I start to do that. "Expedite climb to FL210." At that point I gave up. Happened last night too on a STAR. Anyone else seeing this behavior?

Hello Dave 😀 P2A v2.6.1.1_x64_R3 / Windows 10. At the bottom left of the MAP there are nine icons. The first one concerns the type of airports we want to see on the MAP. The sequence if we press this "Airport" icon several times is: click for ILS... for HardSurface_Long... for HardSurface... for All... Bug (?) : After clicking four times on this icon we have now only two choices: see all airports or no airports. We can't see airport categories with ILS or with HardSurface_Long or with HardSurface.

After quite some time starting to use P2ATC again. It took some minutes to establish connection, I can contact controller an I am getting answer, but I am missing the text proposals from the speech assistant. This is also the case when I open the grammar helper. Anyone can advise ? OK, installed actual version 2.6.1.1 and all seems ok

I had atc chatter working in the past but recently I had to reinstall P2A and now the chatter doesn’t work. I have verified the folder structure and have played random chatter files. I was wondering if maybe it is a com selection issue. Does chatter play only on one com radio? As a backup I have been playing these through my plugin files.

I am trying to connect my laptop to my computer and run Pilot2atc on my laptop. But I cannot get Pilot2atc to start on the laptop. Do I need a second Pilot2atc license for my laptop which is the client? The host computer has a licence copy of Pilot2atc running on it do I need to uninstall it. Please help!!

I've seen enough "what's the best ATC program" threads to last a lifetime, so I really don't want this to become another one. I did my first IFR flight today with Pilot2ATC and it just blew me away! Flew from KPBI to KMIA in the A2A Cessna 172. I used Pilot2ATC on a networked machine with a 21 inch monitor where Pilot2ATC uses the whole screen. Voice interaction, flight planning, thorough ATC commands, background ATC chatter and interaction with Ultimate Traffic Live all were very impressive. Pilot2ATC worked well the first time out. Thanks for developing such a nice addition to my flight sim. Jay

Hi... If there is a Topic like this i have to apologise for not finding it... i admit I'm a bit overwhelmed with the forum an pilot2atc in general. I'm still in 10 Days Trial an i like it so far... however My Com-Frequencies in P2ATC do not match the frequencies in my Sim (X-Plane 11) and probably worse my course is not correct. Example... I was flying from EDNY to EDDF Pilot2ATC kept telling me that i was off course... when i was following the Course in my Garmin. (the Flight plan was created in P2ATC an exportet to the Sim) When i followed the Instructions from Pilot2ATC i was way to far West in the GPS and when I followed the gps Pilot2ATC thou…

I file a VFR flight plan between two airports AYTK to AYOY. Then when I use the usual ready to copy VFR clearance ATC tells me to repeat with destination. Why ? I have not needed to do that before. When I try to do so P2A don't hear what I say which is Cessna Delta Lima Lima ready to copy VFR clearance to Alpha Yankee Oscar Yankee mainly alpha get interpreted very strange and to something completely different and to recognized as two What can I do ?

Hi, I am fairly new to Pilot2ATC and enjoy it a lot. However, I couldn't find information on whether it is possible to hide the position of my own airplane on the moving map. I like to navigate without a GPS map, just with visuals and VOR/NDB, and to try to find my way the old-fashioned way. I still rely a lot on the Pilot2ATC map for radio frequencies, proposed phrases, waypoint information and so on, but I would like to avoid to see where I am. Is that possible? Thanks, Peter
