I tried a flight in XP11 between EKYT and ENTO and found that in P2A I could not Connect. Nothing happened when pressing that button and I could not file the plan. Before I made a flight between ESGP and EKYT without this problem. I tried to restart both P2A and XP11 and nothing helped. I have downloaded the latest upgrade of P2A EDIT flightplan is not the issue I can't Connect to the simulator at all

Does P2ATC know where terrain is? I fly into many small airports with no established approaches, and often P2ATC will vector me into terrain if I let it. I know it probably can't see the terrain, but I want to make sure there isn't a setting somewhere to avoid this.

Hi Dave, I was wondering if you could clarify something for me. Does P2ATC know what your cruising altitude is? Say for example the flight plan says cruising altitude FL 350 but after reaching this, at some point in the flight you request say FL400, is P2ATC aware of this when calculating your descent? The reason I ask this is because I did a flight the other day but found that I was too high when I was approaching the airport which resulted in a go around. Should I have maybe have asked for descent back to FL350 a few hundred miles out so that my descent would give me the correct approach level as per the flight plan? Very new to P2A so forgive me if that has been asked before - Does P2A talk to and receive replies from AI traffic in the sim? If so, how to set the settings for that because I'm doing my first flight with P2A and I'm watching a ton of traffic moving around on the ground at KSLC, but I hear none of them :( I don't really want to have "ATC background chatter" because to me, it takes away from the realism if you're listening to aircraft that aren't near you or getting instructions that are not correct.

Hi, I have been using P2atc for a while and lately I get as far as being handed off to the tower for takeoff clearence then all I get is silence after i request for takeoff. If I continue to carry on with the flight I can still report my altitude and I get Radar contact, but I get no further instructions for the rest of the flight. Are there really this many "Centers" in real life? I crossed Lake Michigan last night and I probably got transferred to 4-5 or maybe even more Centers just from one side of the lake to the other!

Does P2A use AIRAC data in any way? Just updated my data and the Navigraph Data Manager did not find P2A. Thanks!

Hey, so I've purchased Pilot2ATC through Paypal, and I understand it can take up to 12 hours to get a key but, where will the license key be sent to? I didn't have to enter an email at all when I purchased Pilot2ATC, so is there anywhere the license key will show up?

Trying to fly the old Panagra route from SABE to SCTI...but P2ATC does not recognize SCTI. SCTI is a P3D v4 airport...not an addon. Looked in the manual for adding airports and on the forum, pages but didn't find anything about adding airports for P3D. Anyway I can get SCTI into the database? Thanks, Garry Lundberg

I'm not getting any handoffs from ATC centers when airborne and have a filed IFR flightplan. I have the controller radiuses set as 5, 25, 80 and 120. All the other data such as map, AGL, DTK etc are all showing correctly. I have set all the ATC voices. Ground and tower work fine. Is there anything I do do to help debug the issue?

Hello, I have a problem with the buttons assignments for the pilot2ATC functions. Frequently, the button assignments disappear for no reason. Example with the "F2" key that I use to make appear or disappear "Speech Assistant Window", but all of a sudden, when I press F2, nothing happens. I will check in the button configuration menu and I note that F2 has disappeared for the requested function This problem is very unpleasant during a flight. Have you ever had this problem? Vincent

Hi Dave, Over the weekend I had to flatten my PC and start from scratch which has been painful. Anyway when I try to install P2A again and register my key it tells me that 'A license key can only be activated once for any PC and on a maximum of 1 PC' This is the same PC as before just flattened and started fresh. I still have all my original emails/product key and receipts. Do I really need to purchase again? Thanks Daz

Hello, I'm at Gate 28D in FlyTampa's Amsterdam. When I click Taxi P2A says "Taxi Route Error, Taxi route was not calculated. If you have clearance to taxi, just taxi..". P2A gives taxi instructions OK on arrival at AS Heathrow though. Any fix for that? Thanks!

Dave, Since importing airport data using the taximnt utility appears to work considerably differently (much better!) now in v2.6.1.2 from what is described in the manual, I have been trying to understand how it now works. I'm hoping to get some clarification on my observations. I started by changing some of the taxiway names, parking spots, airport flow rules, etc, for the airport KSJC (San Jose, CA) in the apt.dat of Global Airports so I could easily tell when taximnt imports it and if there are any parts it doesn't import. Hi Dave, It seems with the latest X-Plane betas and Vulkan, Laminar have changed how TCAS is working, and this is causing a problem with traffic not being seen by external utilities such as P2A. I thought I'd bring this to your attention to ask if you wouldn't mind taking a look to see what might be involved in making P2A compatible with the new way of working, as already this is causing some problems. Hello, I had a strange minor problem today. When I connected (Xplane 11) with Pilot2Atc The airplane icon on the map did not appear. Pilot2ATC functions seem to work properly, but the icon is no longer visible on the map. I made a flight yesterday without problem, this anomaly appeared today.?.? FYI, I ran Pilot2ATC as administrator. Have you ever seen this problem? Vincent

Hello, my P2A is installed on a networked PC, so I need to send some keys to the program. I'm using SendKey facility available in FSUIPC. To make sure SendKey will always find P2A I need Windows CLASS name and P2A's window title name as well. Example: KeySend1=65,9,ThunderRT5Form,"PFD GLASS COCKPIT" ; Shift+A KeySend2=8,11,ThunderRT5Form,"PFD GLASS COCKPIT" ; Shift+Ctrl+Backspace where ThunderRT5Form is a windows class name and PFD GLASS COCKPIT is the name of the title bar. Hello guys! Really enjoy this master piece with X-Plane 11.41 but I have an issue after updating in the last version. After creating a new flight plan by: Adding Departure + Arrival with +Wpt button Click on Auto Plan button Then click on Validate button Click on File button Connect to X-Plane 11.41 Ask IFR clearance, file is generated like: LFBD_LFPO_P2AFPL.fms When I open this file through ToLiss only Airports are displayed. I've started experiencing high CPU usage over long range flights to the point where I have to close Pilot2Atc and restart it. On a long range flight it gets to the point that it's using more of the CPU than Xplane. What average CPU usage can we expect? As soon as I reset Pilot2Atc I'm down around 3-5 % of CPU usage. Anyone else experiencing this?

I see a thread on this, but from 2018, so I'll ask again in case that the word changed. I'm mid-way through my trial and will purchase P2A. In fact, X-plane without it feels like an incomplete game. The stock traffic in X-plan is sparse, and appears to be invisible to P2A as I got cleared to takeoff as if there was no King-air holding ahead of me. As of today, which traffic plug-ins play nice with P2A so that airports feel less lonely? I get traffic warnings, so I'm assuming that P2A can see airborne flights, but not on the ground? Thanks!
