Hello ! 🙂 Pilot2ATC works fine and is connected to MSFS. I have to practice a lot. My "delightful" french accet is not often recognized ... 🙄😁 I was wondering : - Saying "Cessna Oscar Lima Sierra ready for pushback" : Should'nt pushpack be engaged in MSFS ? - When i'm ready to taxi to active runway, and be approved by atc, shouldn't I see blue arrows if enabled in MSFS ? In other words : will pilot2atc interact with MSFS ? Regards, and take care !

Hi, Apologies if the answer to this is somewhere easy to find. But I can't find it! Say I am on an IFR flight into an airport and looking at the WX I decide I want to request a visual approach (circle to land) -how would I go about this? Thanks, James

Hi Dave and the rest of the gang here :) First off, thank you for a great product. It has been working great for me..until now. For some reason, P2A does not react to speech recognition, requests etc. I have checked that I have my sound settings set correctly. Microphone(Realtek) is set to Default. It works when I use speech recognition in windows. It work in all other programs I use a mic in, but not P2A. I have checked settings, researched online (found this thread : https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/535788-speech-recognition-problem/ ). And tried all the suggestions. Still no good. If you can help me out, what do you need from me? Any log etc i can …

I have purchased and installed Pilot2ATC but when selecting connect I only get 'Simulator Connected' and 'Recognition Engine Installed' but no Gramma FSUIPC7 is connected and PWR light is green. When going to Grammar Help and selecting the Practice button then pressing the PTT button nothing happens. The default language is set to US Hoping someone can help regards Brian

This is very often. Too often to list all of the instances so can someone tell me or link where this is explained? Maybe it's a limitation somewhere in the current MSFS SDK or something else. Problem is when I fly VFR and tune in what should be ground or tower in tons of places that I'm nearing I get ATIS. For the record, I'm using MSFS with the latest navigraph data and no other addons that would cause this. Thanks, Dan

Hi all, I've done a quick scan of the forums, but didn't see anything that matched my current issue, so asking here. I've been able to get the programs all setup correctly together, however, I was wondering if anyone else gets the msfs 2020 warnings popping up such as 'Taxiway Incursion' and 'Need to get ATC clearance', etc. when following Pilot2ATC and having Microsoft's ATC voices and AI set to off? Is there another setting I'm missing that would disable all those warnings? As I start to taxi around and get on the runway, etc. (following Pilot2ATC commands), the sim keeps throwing up these warnings at me. Thanks! Bill

Hi there, I experienced a peculiar issue when using P2A with MSFS the other day. The controller kept repeating his descent instruction (despite the fact I was following it). He got increasingly frantic and, when I switched to P2A, I found the program had frozen. In the end, I had to force close it and continue without ATC. Hi, since today I am not able to change frequencies manually in the standy radio. I started a flight in EPWA and it was not able to contact CtrDel. I am now since 48 min in the air and I did restart the program but still no chance to contact e.g. Prague Ctr as the frequency doe not change. Regards Roland

ok, I'm pretty sure this is something simple that I am missing but after I create a plan in P2ATC and export it to MSFS2020 format, when I load it into msfs it just shows the start and destination airports. I run P2atc 2.6.1.3_x64- create a plan from KBUR to KPHX - add SID, STAR and Approach - validate - so far all ok. ( I've tried filing plan and not filing with same result Start fsuipc and MSFS - select aircraft and am in plan menu in sim - go to p2atc and export plan in MSFS2020 format - back in sim - load exported plan - just KBUR-KPHX no sid,star or approach. I'll recheck the videos and the manual but what am I missing? Vic

Completed two identical flights from KFLL to MYNN. In both instances, while I was told to vacate the runway upon landing, I was never given instructions to taxi to the gate - after having requested it. I tried changing to different frequencies and verified in taxi mnt that there are valid taxiways. I'm using the default scenery. Quick question came up on YouTube.. wanted to ask here... Will PT2 dictate a different approach to a runway if the weather changes (or for any other reason) than what has been "planned"? i.e. in the real world, pilots of course "expect" a specific runway, and approach based on the current weather conditions. But, ATC of course can always surprise you with changes for various reasons, causing you to have to re-enter your approach on the FMC in the plane. So, far all my flights are totally pre planned and nothing changes. Which, is fine. But, I was wondering if there is an option for ATC to surprise us :-)?

The reason for updating to Pilot2ATC V2.6 is FS2020, but the failure that I have run into probably has more to do with me deviating from standard procedures than with FS2020. I have a new, much larger, much faster SSD on which I wished to install the upgrade of Pilot2ATC v2.6. So I copied my directory of Pilot2ATC v2.5 to my new SSD and installed v2.6 over it. Is it possible to change the order in which the various Pilot Phrases appear in the drop-downs? thanks

VFR, N14 > KTTN. McGuire approach brings me toward KTTN, then forgets about me... McGuire tells me to expect Runway 24, but doesn't send me to KTTN Tower. Airport is overflown. I don't know if I was going to get any further guidance... am I missing something?

Hi all, Just fired up X-Plane to do a little flying, built & filed a flight plan, and in the P2A SpeechAssistant, there are no longer any entries under Pilot Phrases. Nothing in the sime has been changed since my last session (other than my location and aircraft). Any ideas?

Have a new pc and a licensed copy of Pilot2ATC. My new pc won't let me install. Do I have to re-purchase for the new pc for FS2020? Thank You. Bill McCracken

Is there a way to get the departure frequency before takeoff so I can pre-load it in the standby window? I get a departure frequency as part of my clearance, but in all the flights I have done so far, the frequency is never correct. I have also tried asking for the departure frequency before takeoff but no response. Some aircraft like the Maddog X do not support co-pilot control of frequency changing so it would be helpful if I can at least know what frequency to preload. Thanks!

New to the P2A and not super knowledgeable about ATC procedures so i though i ask here. Using MSFS, LittleNavMap and P2ATC all updated with AIRAC 2010 I had a flight from CYUL to KDTW... was going pretty good except on departure i was told to taxi via Alpha to 24L, well Alpha does not go to 24L its Foxtrot according to LittleNavMap, so where does the P2ATC get its info from? P2A is working fine, but I'm having a problem with setting up XP 11.50 for ai aircraft. When I go to the flight config screen to populate the ai traffic slots, the AI Traffic button is perpetually greyed out and can't be selected. Anyone else having this problem?

Hello. I have the latest FSUIPC 7 Beta installed and in order for Pilot2ATC to connect to MSFS 2020 i have to stop it and start it 2 or 3 times, I'm following the directions to be Ready to Fly, FSUIPC started, and running as Admin. Is there a log file that i could look at that might suggest why it does not want to connect on the 1st or 2nd and even sometimes 3rd attempt? Once it connects it works fine. Thanks, Bruce

Hi everyone I am trying to install the rudder and stick sample atc chatter in p3d. I understand the bit about merging Canadian and USA controller folders. I am in UK-I am not sure how to create the folder order in P2A sound folder for other regions- Can you please advise how do I make the chatter work in Europe. Also is it important to point to the sound folder in P2A- I read both options. I would like to purchase the stick and rudder ATC-can somebody tell me how good is it for Europe and middle east-I mainly fly in these areas. Many thanks. Qas

Hey everyone! I am sure I am doing something wrong here.. please help. So, here is what I am doing... I launch Pilot2ATC and make a simple IFR flight plan. I have it do it automatically. Then, I click validate. Then, I export for the flight sim (MSFS). Then, I load that plan in the sim. Get in plane, connect the ATC and then when I click file.. the plan seems to change at the last min! This now means I cant fly it and need to re-enter everything in the FMC.. witch with the smaller GA planes is a PITA. Why does this happen sometimes and not other times?
