Hi, I'm looking into a better ATC solution for FS2020 and this seems to be the go to solution, I watched 2 tutorial videos and browsing through topics and FAQ's but I still haven't been able to find a definitive answer to a very simple question. Do I have to use my own voice to communicate with ATC? I notice in one of the tut videos that there is a 'say it' available but it's unclear to me if that's limited to reading back already received instructions or can I use say it for everything; eg ask for initial IFR and taxi clearances? If I have to use my own voice then unfortunately I won't be able to use this program so being able to control totally without the n…

A few weeks ago I purchaged a cereproc voice Adam to check it out in Pilot2atc. I noticed that the voice speed that I had set to number 2 in P2A sound normal at first when starting the flight. I had Adam set to ground controller for taxi clearemce. After touch down at the same airport the groundcontroller Adam sound very slow and it takes the controller at least six to seven seconds to respond after pushing the PTT button. Does anyone els encounter this weird behaviour with cereproc voices, somehow it doesn't stick to the voice speed set in pilot2atc that will work.only once. Is there a workaround to solve this. Using pilot2atc and when i have arrvied to the gate at destination ariport, how ca we request jetway conection? i can't see the option on "say it" menu, and can't request jetway thanks

My Copilot Options (Responds To Radio and Change Frequencies) checkmarks keep disabling on their own. I recheck both copilot options, but in a few seconds they disappear again. I have "Respond To Radio Hot Key" and "Responds To Radio Btn" both checked. I have just noticed this since I started flying FS2020. I generally fly the Fly By Wire A320neo. I didn't have the problem on XP11, but I have not flown XP11 for a couple of weeks, so I don't know if the problem exists on that platform as well. Thank you. Joe

Whenever I add a STAR from the simbrief flight plan there are repeated loops in the Pilot2ATC flight plans. What am I doing wrong ? The plan then adds all the waypoints all over again, instructing the aircraft to loop back to the beginning of the STAR . How do I avoid this?

I use P2A on separate Windows tablet via WideFS. On the tablet I run also my instrument panel with AirManager. I placed P2A minimised window (minimised with the up/down arrow button on the left bottom side of the P2A window). P2A is placed over the AirManager radio stack panel, P2A window pretending to be another radio. On top option enabled. However, the effect is spoiled by the existence of P2A window title bar, with the application name, AIRAC cycle info and the usual window minimise/close buttons. Is there a way to avoid displaying P2A window title bar when in minimised view? Or to make it smaller/lower? Or somehow 100% transparent?

Hi, didn't find a hint here or elsewhere: as these sites state Thinkaviation.net , AOPA , swiss government one should close its VFR flight plan shortly before or immediately after landing, on my VFR travel yesterday's evening, I searched for the opportunity to do this. But - maybe I'm a blind dumbass - I didn't find any "close flightplan" or "cancel flightplan" request, neither while connected to center nor to ATC, also I couldn't find such a request in any other "Request" menu. I'm trying to make a flight from KDEN to KCOS to test P2ATC. I selected one waypoint along the route and hit validate and it changes my altitude from 10500 to FL180. I change it back, hit validate and it does it again. I dont think I need to get to 18k just to fly from Denver to the Springs VFR. Any way to select what altitude I want or am I slaved to what P2ATC wants? And also, it is set to VFR and it is showing a TOD at 18000. And importing flight plans from Simbrief is a real mess. It never gets the altitudes right. Regardless I love this product and would really like to get it working soon. Thanks.

Previously I had my PTT and SayIt keys mapped to different buttons on my Saitek Yoke. Some time ago, I can't say exactly when, my SayIt button stopped activating P2PTC. I thought it might be something I did to the controller mapping or even a faulty button. After messing around with this more, I am able to remap my PTT key but I find that I am unable to map the SayIt key, even to the previous PTT key. The same process I use to map the PTT key does not appear to be working for the SayIt key, even if I try using a completely different controller. Hi all, I bought the license for 59.99, and according to the PDF, you receive an email afterwards with the license. I have not received it. Does it take time? an actual person generates and emails the license, or is something a miss? Thanks for the help. My email is correct My payment went through it is not in spam, i checked. Please let me know. Next, since the trial uses ARAC1801 is there a way to update it to what MFS uses? Dave, I'd just like to say thank you for this amazing program finally I've found someething boosts the realism factor no end. I truly hope to see features like diverts, maydays and where can I get male ATC voices.

Hi @Dave-Pilot2ATC, I've seen this pop up a few times and I originally had this issue myself until you helped me, but it seems to be a recurring bug. I've noticed that every time you start Pilot2ATC, the Co-pilot responds for you by default. Even if the boxes aren't checked. If you 'clear' the options, it works for that sessions, then as soon as you restart it again, it's back to responding for you. It seems to be a bit bugged. Here's some pictures of what I see. i have installed navigraph airac cycle 2013 in pilot2atc and in FS2020. But yesterday i made a flight with destination Newcastle (EGNT), make the FP using pilot to ATC and give me the STAR RW07-ETSE1J-ETSES, but in game (using the MCDU of A320) is impossible to insert that STAR because there isn't ETSES transition . If i am using the same airac cycle for both why they haven't (P2ATC and FS2020) the same procedures ? thanks

Hey guys, bit of a newbie here, so please bear with me. I'm doing a lot of GA IFR flights with a simple flight plan of one airport direct to another. I notice on some flights, I'll get vectors to the ILS approach. On others, I'll get clearance to the ILS approach, but no vectors that follow. Typically I'm noticing that if the approach the ATC is setting me up for has multiple "legs" or turns, I'll get those vectors. Usually the ones without the "legs", i.e., an approach that is straight in, is the one where I'm not getting the vectors to turn and intercept that approach. I do a lot of flying via OnAir/MSFS2020, which tends to take me to small strips without towers, and, unfortunately, any presence in simbrief/navigraph/p2a. Is there any way to make p2a handle airports that aren't in the app? OnAir lists them since it can import data from MSFS, I'm not sure if P2A has any function like this. I already did run makerunways to correct some discrepancies, but adding in missing, small airfields would be great. Examples from recent flying would be UT00, UT88, 1L1 or KPIO in the utah/nevada area as part of some OnAir trips

Have an ongoing issue (tried a couple of times) with the flight plan shown below using cruise altitude of FL300. Using version 2.16.1.3_x64 on Window 10 and using "Co-Pilot Responds" option enabled. Also using the latest Navigraph data. The initial flight is fine up to the point that ATC should give a decent command with P2A Map shows proper decent point and the plan detail in P2A also showing the decent point. Howver instead of giving the command, nothing happens for a little while past that point and then it gives a "Cleared for ILS runway 28R" while I am still at FL 300! I am new to Pilot2ATC and flight simming general i am using MSFS2020 with a navigraph sub all added to Pilot2ATC / MSFS2020 / Simbrief i dont know if i am doing thing right but this is what i have been doing making a plane in Simbrief copying that over to navigragraph adding sids and stars if they dont come over (and to get the charts) then using the clipboard export from navigraph to Pilot2ATC the problem i have had is when validating the plan i sometimes get the star and appr need to be for the same runway when according to navigraph they are if i added the flight plane manually in pilot2atc it validate it without a problem this only seems to work f…

All, Sorry of this has been asked, I did some unsuccessful searching. I was wondering if ATC will tell you to hold b/c an AI plane or Player plane is landing, taking off, taxing, etc? My experience so far, is that it does not; however, I may have the settings wrong -- all ATC AI traffic and P2ATC settings default. ** I will get notified in the air of traffic, but it seems the tower will clear me for take off with an inbound or someone sitting on the runway. Good morning, In real life when you are cleared to T/O by the ATC_Tower, is very usuall to be instructed to fly Rwy heading until the new vectoring and finally to release you flying your own navigation.Is it possible for us to see it come true in some next update of P2ATC? Hello, I'm trying out P2A currently with FSX:SE and so far I am enjoying the "realism" of talking to ATC? I have discovered that whilst it knows of UTL traffic it will not interact with it - as I also use Pro-ATC would it be possible to run the two applications in together. Let Pro-ATC run and comunicate the UTL traffic flights and have P2A run and comunicate with me..... Thoughts?

Ran into a weird one tonight I haven't encountered before: Flying out of Ushuaia (SAWH) to SBEG on a SID, I was originally told climb to FL160 when given my initial clearance on the ground, the same altitude confirmed shortly after wheels up. After being handed off, all of a sudden I was being told to climb and maintain FL090 instead (I was probably around 5000' at the time and slowly climbing). I thought maybe it had something to do with my SID, but I don't see anything on it's chart limiting to 9000.
