Hi -- I'm not sure this is a bug, but it feels like one. Every time I depart, ATC instructs a turn opposite to the planned departure (i.e., left to heading when it should be right to heading, and vice-versa). Is that intended? I'm using v.2.6.1.3.

While I see that P2A has REX Weather integration. Is it compatible for the new Weather Force product for MSFS? Or does it just support REX Sky Force? If REX Weather Force is supported in P2A, will P2A use it for accurate ATIS?

I have updated P2A from 2.6.1.1 to the last Version 2.6.1.3 to use it with MSFS2020. Before the update i got a working Connection with three lines and Power and Connect all green. Now i get no lines at all. I did not change FSUIPC `V7 beta. I tried to connect it in the order Dave wrote in his tutorial but nothing changed. I tried the new updated P2A with X-Plane and there it worked well. This looks like that i have problems with FSUIPC. I downloaded it again and startet it after MSFS was running up. It says it is connected to the FS. Then i started P2A but again i got no connection to the FS. Now i don't know what to do further to solve this problem and nee…

good morning everyone. Since yesterday I have no information to put in my pilot2atc. I notice that the files in the data folder RecentMetar.xml and RecentTAF.xml are zeroed. Doesn't he lower the metar or am I doing something wrong?

Hello, I ran into an issue tonight where the copilot kept on responding to ATC even when I didn't want them to. I had the options to respond and change radio frequencies unchecked and confirmed my PTT button wasn't also mapped to the copilot response button. I noticed that the option for the co-pilot to respond to ATC kept on becoming reenabled (literally the check mark for that option kept reappearing) without any interaction from me. This was in MSFS. Thanks

Would it be possible to make the "Ok" button in the transponder dialog also close the window (like some other dialogs do)? Right now you always have to click twice (OK and close window button) after setting the new XPDR code... Thanks! Dirk

Hi, today I was flying a VOR/DME approach (KAPN, VORDME 19) that required and outbound procedure turn before turning inbound into the approach: P2ATC did include the waypoints of the procedure turn in the flightplan when I selected the approach: But shortly after reaching the APN VOR the active (highlighted) leg in the flight plan 'skipped' over all procedure turn waypoints and moved to DAKRY (and ATC did not refer to the PT at all). Is this intentional, or a bug, either with this particular approach or in general? Or maybe my assumption that the PT is part of the approach is wrong to begin with? Thanks!

Does Pilot2ATC have information about the terrain in the vicinity of an airport? I tried my first flight with Pilot2ATC today and got told by ATC (Pilot2ATC) that I should descend to 3000ft when I start with the STAR that was on the fight plan (the name of the STAR was quoted). I followed the order and found myself flying into a mountain soon after (the visibility was almost 0 because of clouds). I have no experience with ATC so I'm not sure whether keeping above terrain is something that one can expect ATC to help with or if that is something that the pilot(s) alone has to deal with. Something else I found odd was that when I checked in with ATC after I've been…

I installed pilot2atc yesterday and got it to connect to FS2020 but when I use the "say it" feature to say something to ATC I don't get any response. I have a flight plan which I also imported to FS2020 and pilot2atc is showing the green indicator at the bottom left to indicate that the simulated aeroplane in FS2020 is running etc. The flight plan was validated and filed (both buttons are green). I tried several phrases including the "ready to copy" one which I've seen several people started with but I have not had any response on any of the phrases that I tried. The radio frequency was picked from the list that pops up after clicking the "Freq" button. I …

I have read the manual and understand when I click the Train button on the language trainer, having highlighted the controller type, the windows speech recog dialogue should open. But nothing happens when I click the button. Are there some permissions I need to set in windows? I run P2A as admin

First off - a very generous 10 day trial; lots of time to play. I first thought that almost £50 for an ATC addon was a bit steep, since the full blown MSFS 2020, was 'only' twice that. Having used this for 5 days now; it is so much more than ATC. A fantastic full-blown flight planner, with SIDS, STARS, approaches, etc. Full export option to MSFS 2020 Panels to control Autopilot, radio coms (useful when my logitech panels decided to play up) A great moving map (I no longer use Little Nav Map now when flying with P2A) It even shows a little path for the ATC instructed taxi-way to the runway! ( I was thinking of the full blown Navigraph, but han…

Hi all, Recently purchased the Maddog MD-82. I noticed that P2A is unable to set the standby frequency and I have to set it manually before P2A automatically switches (which is ok). Note I also have Aivlasoft EFB v2 and it too is unable to set the standby radio so I guess this isn't unique to P2A. However, has anyone found a work around (apart from manually setting the desired frequency)? Thanks. Hilkiah

I want to download P2A for XPlane 11.5 as a trial. The first download option asks if I want to download with Navigraph or NavDataPro. I know little of either. Does it matter which I choose? ... and if so why? Thanks

Hi - Just downloaded the trial and have used it for 2 days now. A few annoying glitches. I am using FS2020. I followed all the steps to turn off FS2020 ATC, voices, etc. Flying KJAC to KDEN all was well until I got close to Denver. Approach handed me off to Tower. Tower clears to 34L, but the Comm freq automatically switches back to Approach. Approach again says contact Tower on xxx.xx. I can see the freq change, co-pilot gets contact, cleared to 34L again. But freq goes back to APP. This is an endless loop. Below Comm and STBY I can see the assigned freq. But Comm keeps going back to Approach freq. Here is a very short YouTube video showing the glitch - https://yout…

I am using Win10 MFS 2020 . With a trial version of P2ATC. I am connected to P2ATC with FSUIPC 7 with Simulator Connected and com1 nav2 and power button green (although Im using a320 neo FBW which didnt recognise the buttons so assume that just an indication of the checkboxes in p2atc) I have US English installed as the default language (I assume no need to change region etc for the PC itself) I have run P2ATC in administrative mode I have used call sign beech and no. N431VB, as an airline and as GA, I have tried the call sign EZY 255 However only seeing Simulator Connected line in right hand box. Error message when selecting freq.. Aircr…

Let me start by saying I'm a complete and utter newbie to flight simming, so apologies if I'm missing some key knowledge on any of this stuff. I was kicking the tires on P2A (I really like it so far), and hit an interesting situation when attempting to fly from KCLE to KORD. The STAR and approach I chose resulted in a very tight turn in between. Here's an image of P2A: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LKXWhAsD3SrFJn_58skIgSTkxSykPBiA/view?usp=sharing In an effort to get more immersed in the sim, I try to manually enter my flightplans into the plane's FMC instead of importing at the world screen. What slightly confused me was MSFS 2020 notices the tight tur…

Hi, I am currently evaluating the P2A trial version and have a Navigraph subscription. I used the Navigraph FMS data manager to add and update P2A, and it shows that P2A is up to date with cycle 2012 rev1 (don't know if this matters but mapping shows [REGPATH]\ ). But when I start P2A it still keeps displaying 'cycle 1801' in the title bar... Is this a limitation of the trial version, or did I miss something in the setup? Thanks! Dirk

The copilot doesn't change the frequency in the A300. I assume the system is different from the other airplanes.

Hi All, I am considering purchasing P2ATC and will likely trial it first but upfront I would like to know what would be your recommendation of getting P2ATC working with Simbrief (used for creating the OFP) and then having SimTookkit Pro accept that flight plan and track the flight.I'm using P3Dv5. As you know P2ATC has some of these capabilities also but I am more interested in the ATC control that P2ATC provides. So I am wondering what would be the most simplistic set up/configuration of P2ATC that would give me ATC capabilities once I have my OFP filed? I am aware of the Quick Start video that I have reviewed already. Will need to look at it …
