Hi all, Loaded up the demo and giving it a try. I'm able to request flight following and am given a transponder code, which I set, but don't receive a "radar contact". Is there something I need to do after setting the code & reading back? thanks

Hello Dave and other members! I am relatively new to P2A so PLEASE be kind with your responses. 🙂 Here's the thing. I've been trying to use the "CAT" scripts found on PilotEdge with Pilot2ATC but find that the wording (phraseology) does not work with P2A very well. So, the question is, is there a way to change the phraseology in P2A? And, how "realistic" is the P2A phraseology compared to "real world", which I assume is being used by PilotEdge. And yes, I realize that P2A is a computer program and does not have the capacity to "understand" human speech nuances as another human can. Hi Dave, I just purchased X-ATC-Chatter this morning and have been trying to install it in Pilot2ATC. I have carefully read the manuals for both products and after several hours of effort, there appears to be only ONE way to set this up. I'm hoping to get some clarification on this. Here is the only way I've been able to get this to work: Copy "C:\X-ATC-Chatter\Regions\United States\Controllers" to "C:\Pilot2ATC_2018_x64\ATC_Chatter" Set the Root Folder = "C:\Pilot2ATC_2018_x64\Sounds" (or leave the field blank) Check the "Controller Files" radio box If it is true that this is the only way to set this up then I suppose all the other "opt…

Hi All, I'm in the "trial" phase with P2ATC, and couldn't find the answer to "Does P2ATC communicate with AI aircraft, or is the ATC chatter the only option to liven up the frequencies"? If chatter is the only option, what's the best place to download it? I'm on the fence right now with 5 days to go. Thanks!!! Jim B.

Hi, For some reason, I cannot get pilot2Atc comm power to go online "green". Its just stuck at red. I did my first flight yesterday and it was fine until top of decent where I had a CTD. Today, I tried do perform another flight but for some reason pilot2Atc fails to power on the comms. I tried rebooting the entire machine. I am using FlybyWire a320. Thanks Zain

ATC gives me great stepped altitudes when climbing, but on descent it just gives me the lowest. Like I'm FL390 and it says descent to 3000. Not sure how realistic that is compared to IRL?

hello, Problem radio com P2ATC and Chatter XP-11-51 until now, I no longer used the P2atc radio panel, which did not want to open the radio com menu (only radio Nav)! Having a Saitek panel radio, I reinstalled it and it works great with small planes. Then I bought the 'chatter' files and there I am in the embarrassment, because 'radio com' not wanting to open does not have access to the volume control for the chatter sounds! is there an .ini file in P2a allowing me to adjust the volume to hear these.wav files Currently I can't hear anything at all! I don`t have checked the option "Ignore Airway Altitude Restrictiions" but the ATC are ignoring all altitude restrictions of the fligt plan and tell me to climb to the cruise altitude all time when i try to descend to the designed restriction altitude of the flight plan . Thanks

Two different flights to DTW I got clearance to land on one runway, then it changes when handed off to tower. Flight plan had 22L had 22L all the way in until the tower, then it was 21L. Me or a bug? Hello, after landing I often get a taxi instruction to a gate which is already occupied by ai traffic. The ai traffic is clearly shown on the map, so the program is able to detect it. Is there a way to avoid it? Thanks in advance.

I am new to P2A I need help in setting my PTT button

Untill i updated, when I pushed PWR and CONNECT in P2A, it immidiately sets the ATIS frequency on my radio, and read the Atis information. After updating, it does the same, but only for 1/10 of a second. I just manage to hear that it starts speaking, before it goes dead. After that it will not read me or speak, either on Atis frequecy or any other frequency. The update was done on top of the old one. Nothing was deleted by me, but a second P2A icon appeared on my desctop. Do I need to set somthing up again, or reinstall? I am on P3D v5.1 and uses P2A in a network setup. Best regards Rune

Hi all, As a long-time user of Pilot2ATC I am now attempting to use it in a VR environment with MSFS2020. I suspect it may be too much of a load on the PC system with the sim, speech recognition, chatter, and VR all running concurrently as its not working to date. System is: Intel® Core™ i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz 32GB RAM 2 TB SSD Nvidia Geoforce RTX2080Ti Two key problems are: 1) Pilot2ATC does not recognize input from the Vive Cosmos Headset mic. I've been digging into P2ATC on MSFS 2020 and really enjoying it. I've got some questions I'm hoping for some guidance that I couldn't find in the manual or online (or at least I'm not understand it). 1 - So far my experience has been using the stock ATC in MSFS. With stock, when I'm on my approach, the ATC will direct me down to the correct altitude to enter the approach. In P2ATC, I don't seem to get that level of direction. I think I'm noticing I will get a clearance from center for the approach with a final altitude, then hand off to tower or told to call back when on the ground. i am looking to use simbandit with fs2020 it will speed up time in the sim and slow it back down automatically when the plane needs to make a turn and auto speed up time after the turn will the affect pilot2atc?
