1. Does Pilot2ATC totally over ride FSX default ATC? 2. Does P2ATC allow one to follow filed flightplan or does it continually throw heading and altitude changes at you as the default ATC does I find what is the point of realistic IFR flight planning and FMS navigation when ATC commands your track anyway. The cockpit preparations in flight management become a go through the motions if ATC won't let you fly the plan you enter and file anyway. Can P2ATC do better? Thanks for any answers

Today I can't load a flight plan exported from P2atc. I get a CTD all time i tru to load the pln file. Yesterday i loaded a flight plans without problems The flight plan is created with Online Flight Planner, then loaded into P2atc and exported to pc in pln format. When i load into MSFS the game CTD 😞

Hi - I've noticed recently that ATC instructs a turn direction opposite to the departure heading turn direction. E.g., if my flight plan calls for a departure to the right, ATC instructs a left turn instead. The heading is correct, but following the ATC's instruction always results in a circling departure. which seems unusual. Is this by design, or is it a bug?

My fo in mce keeps interfering with me when i push to talking to pilot2atc is there a work a round for this is anybody running these programs Dave said something about using one voice how do i do that I like to talk to pilot2atc but my fo keep talking can someone help me out

Hi Dave, The "T" key on my keyboard doesn't work while P2A is running, both in P2A itself as in any other application I had it assigned to PTT but cleared it..but T key remains unusable while P2A is open I did a full uninstall and reinstalled it but problem not solved Brgds, Phil

I'm using P2A a while now and i love the program, wouldn't fly without it. I noticed a few problems from the start. The ground controller repeats his phrases although my readback is correct. As i understand the green textline in the textbox represends how your computer recognizes your voice. In my case the green phrases are exactly the same as the one when i use the say it button So imo the voice recognition is working just fine. The phrases are not so complex for example my readback green phrase in the text box is ( taxi to runway two four via taxiways Alpha three hold short runway two four Cessna Kilo Bravo Alpha.) Hi all, I upgraded recently from 2.6.1.2 to 2.6.1.3 and now I can't seem to disable the co-pilot responds and changes frequencies check boxes. (They were off before the upgrade) I uncheck them and they check again in front of my eyes. I've noticed if I uncheck one, the other selects itself again. If I mess around enough, I can get them both unchecked, but I also noticed if I move the window, it selects them both again. I managed to unselect them once and respond by myself for one time only and then they had selected themselves again and it continued to respond for me. Anyone else come across this bug?

I am fairly new the Pilot2ATC so I did a number of short training flights using MFS2020 from LMML to LICC and had some issues, I appreciate if I can have some guidance clarifications:- 1. During flights am I supposed to have the ATC handing me from one controller to the other ? or I have to just follow the filed plan ? To give an example I was expected to be handled to Rome Ctr and Brindisi Ctr before LICC approach but nothing happened on the way. Hello, I've run into an issue on my past few flights where I go to request flight following once airborne, it looks like the program is recognizing what I say, but ATC is not responding to my request. I've also tried using "Sayit" but to no avail. For whatever reason my flight today didn't generate a log file but the one last weekend did when I had the same issue. I'm trying to use Pilot2ATC with a setup where Aerowinx PSX is connected to MSFS 2020 with a small program called WidePSX. Basically, MSFS 2020 is a drone, controlled 100% by PSX. I'm then connecting Pilot2ATC to the MSFS drone. This is a live stream of the complete setup but the first 3 minutes will demonstrate the setup, including Pilot2ATC. The drone is powered up as you can see from the connection at 1:47 secs. So my question is, will Pilot2ATC get enough information from the MSFS drone to enable this to work properly? Of course I don't expect anyone to watch the full stream here but it seemed to work on departure giving altitude changes. But I lost it …

Hi, I have installed the FS-ATC-Chatter into pilot2ATC. I have also downloaded the Navdata Reader tool to create a new sqllite database. There are tutorials on how to replace the default database in FS-ATC-Chatter but I see nothing about how to do so in Pilot2Atc. What relationship does this tool have with Pilot2Atc and how do I use it once new DB is created?

I have had this happen to me twice now. Xplane 11.5, Toilss Airbuss A319 Sorry I dont have the exact STAR and procedures but you should get the idea. Had a flight with arrival to KDAL. The original flight plan had RNAV approach to Rwy 26. No problem punched that into the FMC. As I approached the TOD controller gave me a different approach with a STAR and ILS approach 08. No problem re-programmed the FMC. On crossing the TOD ATC advised me to descend via that STAR. Perfect! After crossing the transition it gave vectors for ILS 08.. still perfect! Hello Everyone, When departing, or arriving at a busy airport in MSFS2020 I can get inundated with traffic alerts, and it can have adverse affects. If there are too many traffic alerts the program will sometimes skip frequency change notices, climb to altitude, descend to altitude, landing approval etc... thinking it had told me. When this happens it becomes radio silence until I figure out what frequency I need to be on, or check in. What settings do you all recommend, or do y'all just turn it off?

Hi, just thought I'd share this, in case anyone else is getting really annoyed when you open the TERPs and Adobe Reader insists on showing the tool bar and you have to hide it away every time you open an approach plate. Here's what I'd consider a really useful and convenient feature - I find myself very frequently wanting to quickly zoom/center on specific flight plan waypoints on the map. Right now you have to click on the first column of the waypoint in the flightplan and then select 'Center on map' in the context menu to achieve this, but wouldn't it be great if you could just double-click on a waypoint in the list to achieve the same thing? I have been out of commission for a while and have a couple of questions. With the new fs 2020, does pta load the flight plan into the plane as was done with fsx after receiving clearence. Also the are a couple of requests that I have not seen before. "open flight plan" and " close flight plan". When and how are these used? Thanks

Hello everyone! I'm on day three of the trial, but have been unable to get any radio traffic to come out of my speakers or headset. I hear the pilot side of the transmission when I use the Say It function, but nothing from the ATC side. When I go to the Speech tab within Pilot2Atc, I'm unable to select any device for Speech Output Device. Additionally when I go to the Voices tab, those too are all blank with no options to select from. I've not installed any additional voices and when I go to Speech settings within Windows 10 the default ones provided such as Microsoft David all seem to work, so I would think I would be able to choose from one of those, but the drop dow…

Do you have to use X-Chatter or can i use my own chatter files in pilot2atc. over the years I picked up a lot of chatter and if i can is it under sound atc or where do i store my wav files.

I am trying to use Pilot2Atc as trial version on FS2020 and I noted the following:- 1. I am starting flight from runway on A320 I select request departure runway and press say it but no answer. Frequencies do change in FS when changed then on P2A , I tired calling ground, centre and tower but there is no answer. I have an input device as microphone although I am not sure if it is working correctly but initially I intend to use the sayit button to get accustomed. 2. I have a CH Flight Sim USB Yoke. I can't set any button as the PTT. It stays with the 0. A keyboard PTT key set works as does the PTT button in the app.

I was trying to export a flight plan compiled by P2A as a text file to use in Rotate's MD-80 FMC. It exports seeming okay but when I open the 'text' file it looks like it is filled with Chinese characters?

Hi all.. noob here on this add-on... Can Pilot2ATC be used without voice control and on one screen so that you just select from an answer to continue, similar to how ingame ATC "should" work.
