I have done a search for these. If I missed the answers I apologize. I am running MSFS networked with P2atc networked. First question...If I spawn on the runway, how do I bypass ground and taxi?...in other words just get route and takeoff clearance. I tried to get clearance but it kept sending me back to ground. Second question...after landing and taxiing to parking how do I request ground services? Ok quick third question...my client machine is an i5 all in one with 6gb ram. The only thing besides win 10 that is running on it is p2atc. Does P2atc require more memory than the 6gb or is that sufficient as long as I don't run additional programs at the same t…

If you file a flight plan without sids and stars. Will P2ATC assign them automatically. Regards

I have just purchased and installed 4 cerecproc voices. I assigned them to the random list and also some controllers. At first they worked, now they have stopped working and the default Microsoft voice is playing. what do I need to do differently?

Is it possible to add taxiway routes to airfields that do not have any. EGTK being the case I am looking at, it had an extra 2 runways that don't exist. I have deleted the extra runways but would like to add some taxi routes. I cant work out how to do it. I am happy with the amend taxi routes though adding Holds etc. Appreciate any help ATC Mike

I Have fs2020 and am using p2a with it. I have run make runway and imported taxi ways and gates. Only problem is when I get assigned a taxi route, it does not show on the map. that goes both ways; to the runway or the gates. Any answers would be appreciated Thanks Woody

Hello Dave 🙂 P2A v2.6.1.3 - Windows 10 Pro. In the "Gate and Taxiway Maintenance", I have saved several modified airports. Unfortunately, these modified airports not appears in the "User Modified Airports" list. Is this normal? Doing something wrong?

Hi Lately, when getting clearence, I am not assigned a runway. The SID and Transition are given. Atis report one or two runways in use. I have Hazel, Zira and David installed, and "Use random voices "checked, as I beleive that will alter which position they are at!? Sometimes Zira, I think, comes with an accent or a dialect that is almost unreadable. Is that a part of the program, that they alter their speech?? P2A v2.6.1.3 x64, P3D v5.1 Best regards Rune

Hi, Some help needed please. I am using FS Global real weather injector and I cannot find the \Current_weathercomplete.txt in any directory specified for FSG Weather, so it keeps reverting back to NOAA. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance. Mike

I was flying out of KLAX earlier and was assigned the TRTON2 SID from runway 7L. There should be a vector immediately after taking off but Pilot2ATC did not give me a heading. Would it be possible to check if this vector is in the database? Thank you so much!

I usually make the flight plans using auto function , and export them , then i load them into little navmaps , but starting of descent point is diferent in both programs (p2atc and little navmaps), how can i export the flightplam with the descent pint information ? thanks

Hi, since the release of VR for MSFS I have switched over to almost exclusively fly with the Reverb G2. Since the native FS ATC is rather faulty and lacking I am looking for an alternative and Pilot2ATC seems the ticket to go. An important question for me is whether the program interface can be displayed/used within VR. Can I see the maps, use the Say-it feature etc., or would I just be able to use it on the monitor for flight planning and once in VR would then have to depend on audio and voice-recognition alone?

Hi, I bought Pilot2ATC a few weeks ago and now ein dowmload the updated, but when I started the install at 20 % I get this message: Unable to initialize Database. An exception has been raised thata is lekiley due to a transient failure. If you are connecting to a SQL Azure database consider using SqlAzureExecutionStrategy. The underlying provider failed on Open. What I can do now. Roland

Hi Before the latest update and with the latest update I have started having the interface freeze after a short space of time. The map still moves and the voice interaction is fine everything else is unresponsive. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I've been using the Sayit function of P2A, but would like to try using a mic. I have a little "El Cheapo Grande" desk mic, but it doesn't seem to have enough volume to work well. I have no problem with getting a decent headphone/mic combo. Any recommendations?

I've recently encountered a problem with PMDG 737 and P2ATC where the frequency swap button both in the 737 and P2ATC no longer works. The problem occurs after starting P2ATC and establishing connection with power and connection Both frequencies change and ATIS starts. After that I can no longer change frequencies from either PMDG or P2ATC. The system worked fine until several days ago, and since then I have reinstalled PMDG completely, and updated P2ATC to .2. P2ATC works with FSL 32x. Otherwise no changes have been made to the sim. I suspect that some file has become corrupted and hesitate to remove and reinstall P2ATC due to licensing issues. Hello, I downloated update to new version, when I tryed to launch the P2ATC, I got this warning : "Unable to initialize Database The underlying provider failed on Open An attemp to attach an auto-named database for file C:\Pilot2ATC_2018_x64\Data\P2A\DynamicData.mdf failed. A database with same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share." Then I downloated full version and it seems to work OK. Just wondering is there something wrong with update file ?

I have purchased X-ATC chatter and set it up in according the controller structure (e.g.: E:\Program Files\Pilot2ATC\Sounds\ATC_Chatter\Controllers\App\CA-DAR-001.mp3) I do have different kind of chatter throughout my flights but I feel like the correct files aren't played. I was performing a Norway flight earlier and kept hearing US chatter instead of EU. When I performed US flights I sometimes kept hearing EU chatter. The settings within P2A are the path cleared, controller type ticked and Default region selected depending on where I fly.

Greetings All, A Happy New Flying Year! I have a couple of small observations from a recent flight from Luxembourg to Miami. 1) After leaving Europe in Hpa for QNH and ATIS, on arrival, that information does not change to inches. Do I have to do something to make it happen. 2) while close to ATC "borders" often there are multiple handoffs to the same frequency. Is there anything I can do to avoid this? Many Thanks. Twice now, as I've finally got decent voice communication going throughout the flight, I've noticed as I get Takeoff clearance that, even though the sim barometer (on the plane) and the display in the upper right corner of Pilot2ATC are showing the same pressure, all the ATC readbacks are 2992. It's a small issue as Pilot2ATC does not care about the difference in pressure I'm using, but I thought I'd let the makers know. BTW, I am really enjoying Pilot2ATC on my beginner level and intend to learn more. Thanks for making this software possible.

Dave My Procedures all work fine after I type in the icao code. The problem is they come up in a separate adobo window and not in the small window in P2ATC. I the P2ATC window I get an error. They worked fine when I first installed P2ATC but after downloading and setting up Adobe as my default PDF Viewer I started having this problem. Do You have any ideas how I can get my Terps to display internally In P2ATC again Regards

1st problem i was given runway 12 ndb landing at night i tried to request runway 30 ils but the option was missing only gave me departures 2nd when i tuned in to the last frequency i had no option to check in with them no matter what i put from the dropdown menus i did not get a response on (serenity One Sierra Tango Contact Approach Tower on One Two Niner point zero ) i also tried the 131.50 and got the same i checked the artcc to make sure there was no conflict i am not sure how to post the log file if you need it let me know

Is the transition altitude for altimeter setting 18,000 feet like in the USA, set worldwide in the program? Or, is it specific to the area you are in? Like the U.K. for instance where it is 3000 feet.

When my sim crashes (P3D, Xp11, MSFS etc), Pilot2ATC doesn't handle it very well. I relaunch the sim, then I need to re-validate and re-file the flight plan. The assigned ATC box is blank, meaning I have no way of going back on ATC. Not sure what is possible on fixing this?
