Would it be possible to add some more phraseology to the FSS repertoire. I am a Air Ground Radio Operator in the UK and would love to have some more interaction at FSS or (in the UK Air Ground) Stations. We (AGRO) are not allowed to give take off clearances or landing instructions or any instructions at all but we can give information, something that I think is sadly lacking in P2ATC unless I am mistaken. I would love to see something on the lines of the following implemented if possible: Departures: Pilot - " Piper Charlie Mike Romeo request Runway in use and altimeter setting" Tower - Piper Charlie Mike Romeo Runway 07 in use QNH is 1016 …

Is there an option to request an LDA approach when one exists?

Had a really odd flight today. KEFD BORRN4 WLEEE5 KAUS, filed with FL340. ATC cleared me to 12000ft, then to 17000ft, and then the strangeness began (I was still in the middle of the STAR): CJ One Niner Charlie Climb and Maintain Flight Level One Eight Zero Descend and Maintain One Three Thousand feet' After that ATC instructed me to descend to 8000ft, and then to 2600ft, at which point I gave up and disconnected. I import plan from SimBrief. Yesterday I flew from LGAV to EHAM. The flight plan from SimBrief was: LGAV KOR UL53 GARTA UV60 YNN UL604 DIMIS DCT ADDER DCT RETRA DCT GAC DCT TIVNU DCT ZAG DCT PETOV DCT LAMSI L604 RUDNO DCT MAPOX DCT NORKU EHAM When I imported it 2 waypoints were missing, RETRA and MAPOX and I had to insert the manually. Why? Am I doing something wrong?

Hello All, I'm a very new Pilot2ATC user and I find it truly exceptional. I use P3D 4.5 HF3 and UTL 1.2. I have done some IFR test flights and during the approaches (but on ground also) I have noticed that often the communications of the AI traffic with the controllers overlap with mine or that of my co-pilot so it is difficult to understand the instructions. Is this normal behavior or do I need to change any settings? Thanks in advance for any suggestion. Alessandro

Only recently, when I start P2ATC the loading screen shows up and it appears in the taskbar, but then nothing else happens. I looked around a bit and tried to "Show windows stacked" method but that didn't help. Rebooting didn't help either and neither did re-installing P2ATC. Is there a log or a way to find out what's happening?

have just tried to add EGFQ as a way point and says not in the data base i am using navigraph on airac cycle 2103 it also dose not show up on there program but it dose show up in fs2020 so my question is running make runways would that fix the missing airport or will the navigraph data keep overweighing it? have had a quick look in p2a after running make runways but not sure how to add a new airport

On Fs2020 i am seeing other names of people flying around but in p2a i can only see planes on the ground in blue dose p2a track other planes in the sim or is this not working i am using FSUIPC 7.0.9 that came out on 14th April free version could that be the problem or am i missing a setting in p2a

Hello, I have a few times "TOD Calculation Error" messages which do not seem to me to be justified. Even if I modify the cruise alt, plan GS or descent rate parameters, the error message appears. Hi, I do not enter SID and STAR in flight plan and expect P2A to provide it. It works fine and STAR is provided as expected. As soon as the STAR is provided I enter it in my flight plan (Navigraph, sim and p2a). But when I follow the STAR P2A often says that i am off-course. But my way seems fine on navigraph. It is like P2A wants me to follow direct to airport as the initial flight plan. Approach is fine. I have the same navigraph airac cycle on sim, p2a and charts. Am I doing something wrong ? I did experience it on many flights : LFMN-LIRL LFMN-LEBL, ... Thanks,

I'm a prior P2A user, but I haven't used it much with MSFS. On a flight today I noticed that once departure handed me off to center, from that point on I was silently transferred from center to center without any instructions, and without touching the radio. Futhermore, any attempt to change frequency manually was reset to the frequency that had been there previously. Even when I cancelled my flight plan and tried to change frequency to a nearby field's approach for an early landing, I was forced back to the center frequency. I have checked and rechecked that copilot controls are disabled, as are the hotkeys to turn them on. What might I be missing that'…

Hi, I have been a happy user for a long time but there is one thing I would like to request. I would like a way to make sudden changes to a flight plan due to unexpected situations that occur during a flight like engine failure, icing, shortage of fuel, etc. The other day at 6000 ft I was getting severe icing and needed to descend to 2000 to get out of the clouds. But that was below the scheduled altitude for my route and ATC kept scolding me. I requested permission to descend, but it was denied and then all I got as "expedite your climb".... Since the pilot is ultimately responsible for the safety of the flight I would like to see a command like "cannot comply"…

On ATIS reports everything is fine using NOAA (For MSFS) - except for visibility, whatever is said is far too brief to catch. Not sure if it is getting no visibility data, or unable to parse what it is getting? G

Hi there, I planned to get a number of CereProc voices (V5 versions because of the current issues), especially since they currently have a good deal with 33% off. I listened to many of their voice samples one the site and they sounded great, but then I found they actually have a demo page where you can input any text and let them read it. So I copy and pasted actual ATC phrases from P2A's text output window, and I don't know, a lot of this all of a sudden didn't really sound that great any more. Some weird pronunciation and intonation, even when just compared to the standard and more robotic Windows voices. Not sure if I'm just expecting too much, or if it's jus…

I am doing a tour around the UK I am using skypark for this I would like to do a couple of legs at a time for skypark to register I have been to one of there defined airports I need to land there If I am wanting to do a touch is it possible to plan that in when setting the route on p2a So that p2a knows I want to do a touch and go or can I ask atc for the touch and go

Hi, Is there a way to always have the Pilot2ATC transponder mode always active as the default? Most of the time I forget to select Pilot2ATC transponder mode to active even though the aircraft transponder is On and has the correct squawk. Thanks, George

So I am hoping you can help I've got the log file from yesterdays flight where it happened, it's happened a few times. Background When I fly Albeao's Conquest II aircraft the ATC program doesn't seem to instruct a descent, it did it when I flew into Seattle and Alaska in the PMDG 747.... I had to initiate the decent on my own but none came from ATC.

Hi Dave, Would be great if there were a couple of status / toggle boxes on the main screen so that at a glance you could see what you have assigned to the copilot - and also be able to toggle them quickly and easily as well. I know you can go through the config to do it, but much better if you can stay out of the menu systems.... Regards, G

I've got a flight plan set up from MYAM to KMCO with a SID and STAR where the departing airport doesn't have its own tower so when I request takeoff permission it tells me "Silver Airways One One Six There is no Tower frequency at this airport. Takeoff at pilot discretion." My problem is that after I takeoff it does not seem to recognize I have taken off. I don't get new altitude clearances nor any new directions. The "request" options in the SayIt menu also don't change to the ones where you can request new altitude etc. I can only get new altitude by saying "ready to copy". For example on a test flight from EGCC to EGBB I am given MAPLE as a transition, what I want is BHX1. Updated it in the "Planner", but couldn't get it to change via voice. If I requested ILS for RW33 it would just specify Maple again. Requesting BHX1 directly was too much of a stretch for voice recognition!... G

Dave I'm aware that Flight Simulator X did not report transponder mode status, so no offset was ever created in FSUIPC for it, and any type of transponder mode read or sync was not possible in Pilot2ATC at that time. Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) does report transponder mode status through simvar TRANSPONDER_STATE, with the following values: 0 = Off 1 = Standby 2 = Test 3 = On 4 = Alt 5 = Ground As of the FSUIPC7 build on September, 14 2020, offset 0x0B46 (1 Byte) with read/write access has been added to FSUPIC7 by developer John Dawson for transponder mode status.
