  1. When running in the minimized mode the Windows title bar is still visible and takes up screen space. It would be great if we had the option to remove the Windows title bar.

  2. Is anyone having luck getting the XPLink plugin working on a Mac with Windows 10 on bootcamp? I'm receiving an error message "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:48007" from within the Pilot2ATC logs. Contacted Microsoft and their support advised that actively refused means the port does not exist. Not sure if this is a Windows problem or Bootcamp problem at this point or router issue. Have spent allot of time trying to solve it for anyone else having this issue with absolutely no success. I'm hoping I'm not alone. Any help from anyone else using Bootcamp who have found a workaround or just plain got it to work is…

  3. When I import a flight plan from LittleNavMap I get the Flight Plan Error Your flight plan must have a departure airport as the first waypoint and a destination airport as the last waypoint... However, the flight plan does have departing and destination airports. If manually add the departure airport it works, but then I have the departure airport twice after validation (after P2ATC adds a departure waypoint). Pilot2ATC 2020 2.6.2.3_x64_R2 LittleNavMap 2.6.5 Is this a known bug? Pilot2ATC or LittleNavMap? Using LittleNavMap to generate an X-Plane FMS plan. Thanks, Jengle

  4. So I think I may be encountering a bug or maybe I'm doing something wrong. I have no problems requesting VFR flight following from departure prior to takeoff with my voice. However, if I request while in the air using my voice, I don't get a response back from ATC. My dialogue is captured correctly, but the only way to get a response is to repeat the request with the SayIt function. This is not an intermittent issue, and I can reproduce it every time. Is this a bug, or am I not doing it the correct way?

  5. Hello After MSFS SU5 in P2A I no longer can change the frequency. Whatever I pick a frequency from the list. I see it change on the radio but after a second it immediately becomes overwritten by previous frequency that is ADIS. I'm suspecting default in sim ATC is taking over. It happened to me at KJFK / CRJ7

Hi Simmers, When I use Pilot2ATC and I import a fightplan from Navigraph, copy/paste option, TOD is calculated and visible in my route. I export this FP with Pilot2ATC to Xplane and when I load it into the FMC result: there is always a different TOD calculated. I get always altitude warnings from the ATC. I know that the programs use different calculations but is there a way to change this in Pilot2ATC ?

Hi Dave, Is there anyway that a few new phrases could be implemented in the next update? A lot of places, Australia included will use phrases to the tower such as '[Callsign] holding short of runway [xxx]' prior to them receiving their take off clearance. This allows tower to tell them to hold, line up and wait or takeoff. Also is there a chance that a 'Cleared for immediate takeoff' and 'Be prepared for immediate takeoff' phrases could also be added if there is AI traffic nearing or on final for the runway? Thanks John

Hello there, just a little Question: till now I had unchecked the "ATC Assigns SID/STAR/Approach" and filed them like Simbrief told me. Now I changed this and checked the options to get them from the ATC. How should I act now? Just file the flightplan without SID/STAR/APP and if I get them from the ATC refile? Because the flightplane did not update if I get the STAR for example... Is it the right way to refile the plan or is there any option I haven´t seen to update the Flightplan? Thanks, Michael.

why is it that sometimes the copilot options get disabled during a flight and I have to enable them again ? I fly in VR and I just leave the copilot to take care of the communication/freq change.

  11. Hi, I'm still learning. While I know that P2A is mostly for IFR flights, I use it pretty often for VFR too. Basic class D to class D airfield with or without flight following works pretty well. However, when dealing with approach controllers, crazy things happen, even when I shadow guys on YouTube, as for example Mike Fletcher. This is a transcript of my latest VFR flight from KASH to KBOS. Can somebody give me some hints at what went wrong in my communication? 13. I just tried P2ATC and I am running into problems with voice recognition. The first couple of phrases work fine and then the number two is recognized repeatedly as four. I tried training with a call sign including a two, but no improvement. And sometimes a completely different sentence is recognized. My system is not the latest one (Intel I5-6600K) , so it may be a performance issue. The GPU is used 100% by FS2020. I played with settings in FS2020 using minimum settings, but no improvement. Any other ideas what to do? A typical example is shown below with the bold fails at the end: Info: Simulator Connected Info: Recognition Engine Installed …

Most of my flights are in Italy and most of my italian flights are inbound/outbound from linate Airport LIML due to the simple fact I live close there. At LIML 99% of flights use runway 36 both for landing and taking off. it's definitely the preferential one. The 18 is used in extreme weather conditions with southern wind strong component (lets say 5 days per year, or even less) or in rare case of low traffic for some fllights directed to south. I can force pilot2Atc to use 36 with IFR but if I let it do its own way it always select the 18. With VFR activities it's always the 18... Is there a way to make pilot2ATC understanding which is the preferential runway an…

How do I save a flightplan in p2a? No problem exporting it, but if I choose SAVE (.vbf file) then pick the location and click SAVE, nothing is saved. I go back to the saved location and there is no vbf file there. Is there a specific location it must be filed in? Jim in Ohio

  16. I'm having a problem getting the speech recognition to work inside of the program. Every time I "practice" in the Grammar helper, the program shows a blank for the Full txt. Ive configured the speech recognition on the windows 10 Side of things. My Microphone is working. Even the windows 10 recognizer can hear me and type out my speech. I though the problem was that i installed it on my SSD portable drive so I moved it over to C : drive but that didnt work. I only have the trial version and would buy the program if I was positive it would work. I did all of the steps on the Troubleshooting guide with no luck. Please any suggestions would be great.

When the FBW a320 in cold and dark state, I cannot get pilot2atc to response to my speech or even the text to speech. However when the plane starts in running state, pilot2atc will work normally. Anyone is experiencing the same thing? Anyway to fix that? I am using FBW 0.5 stable version.

Trying to fly a SID from EGKK in FBW A320 FF2020. The constraints shown in the PFD are different from the flight plan shown in Pilot2ATC. The plan is created in Simbreif and imported to P2ATC and then exported to FS 2020. In the P2ATC I have a constraint of 5000 feet to LAM6M almost 35 miles away. P2ATC instructs me to go to 15000 after take off and follow the SID The PFD shows altitude constraints that mirror this and the autopilot tries to fly them but I am told by P2ATC to descend to 5000ft. If I request a higher altitude I get a negative because the SID expects 5000.

Anyone know if it is possible to have the co-pilot respond to the radio but not change frequencies? I am about to be the proud owner of a Logitech Radio Panel and I would like to change the frequencies myself but have the co-pilot answer the radios for me. Many thanks in advance.

even if I do everything correctly sometimes it keeps switching me from one frequency to another. Had an occasion where I did the taxi and was preparing for departure clearance but even if the plugin recognized my instruction it kept switching me from one frequency to another without recognizing my clearance. I had to take off without clearance but than I lost communication with the ATC

I am running MSFS 2020 and FSFlyingSchool for MSFS in Windows 10. On the Flight Plan Page of FSFlyingSchool I clicked "Load Flight Plan" so that I could load a previously saved flight plan (xxx.pln). I get a notification that I need to go to the Setting page of FSFlyingSchool to create a "valid" folder, but I see nothing in the Settings tab that is related to flight plan folders or how to create or select such a folder. I do have a folder containing MSFS light plans with the .pln extension: the file path is correctly stated in the text box in the Flight Plan section at the bottom of the Settings tab. Thanks for your responses. Monty May
