Hi! Sorry about my English! I want to use the program and am currently working with the trial version. Until yesterday everything was fine and I even made a flight. The program worked great! But today the program refused to work! It starts, but instead of a MAP - a black screen! And there are no buttons on the map screen and flight planner screen. If I click on the FPL button at the top of the right column, the buttons appear on the planner screen, but if I press it again and there is one window in the program and nothing else can be done with it! Hi Dave, I always thought that P2A only gives you a vectored approach if your flight path to the final would result in some steep turns (90 degrees or more?). I frequently encounter that P2A gives me vectors even though my approach including transition is pretty well aligned with my flight path. For example here, ILS Rwy 06 at EDLP with the PAD1 transition: or here, EGPH Rwy 06 with the TLA transition: Is this vectoring behavior intended? And if so, is there any way to ask for getting the approach / transition that was initially planned? Thanks! Dirk

I selected a STAR approach and it was a complete bust. It could have been the approach I selected, it just didn’t work correctly. The last two legs were not what I was expecting. It didn’t come close to a valid approach. I must be missing something. I may need to look at how to do a STAR approach via a tutorial. I was curious about ATC Vectors. Is there away to integrate this into the flight plan of P2ATC, where you are vectored to the 30’ intercept for the ILS? I am using Navigraph w/ Charts. But used SimBrief. Is there a good method to using these tools? Thanks!

Hello everyone. I'm hoping someone can help me with my problem. I have MSFS 2020 and P2A (updated). I can connect P2A to MSFS. When I do I can work with P2A and change frequencies. I have never used PTT, but want to get on VATSIM, so thought I would use P2A for practice. However, it only seems to work on the initial press of the PTT button. So when I start P2A up, connect to MSFS, then go to use PTT and say "Say Altimeter" it works. When I try it again, nothing. I try using the speech assist, etc. to no avail. I tried to disconnect then reconnect and it still will not function. When I restart P2A it will do the same thing . . . works once, then stops. When I use the…

Is there a way to turn down the ATC chatter volume without turning down all the sound for p2a?

Hey, Pilot2Atc often tells me to decend via (or expect) an arrival with a transition, which I can´t select in the FMS. E.g. I flew to EDDF RWY 07C. Pilot2ATC told be me to descend via the SPES1H arrival with the SPESA transition. But there is no SPESA transition in the CRJ FMS. Im quite new to Pilot2ATC/IFR procedures, so maybe I´m missing something. Thank you! FMS: Spoiler

i recently edited EGKK Gatwick in taximnt to give it the correct taxiways at Gatwick there seams to be a lot of off set hold short points am i right in thinking 0---0 indicates hold short points I had a GA aircraft coming from U aria and heading to 26L the route above is what p2a gave me halfway down J taxi way atc told me i had permission to cross 26R i did not need to do this as the route given dose not encroach 26R would this be because of the off set hold short points this is how i have it laid out i tried to do the hold short points as per navigraph is there anything i can do to get th…

I've looked in the forum and could not find an answer for this question so if it is a duplicate please forgive me. Both xplane-11 and msfs 2020 when having landing traffic I ger cleared for takeoff but as soon as I start to move I see an aircraft on short final. I used to get hold short for landing traffic in xplane-11 now not at all. I am using the Just Flight Traffic Global, but with that It used to work. Is there a setting that I need to set for this to happen again? Thank you anyone for the help.

I should have grabbed a screenshot of the error message and next time I will but here it goes. I was flying in XPlane 11 from CYEG to CYZF and as I got closer to CYZF and ready to contact Approach a grammar load error presented itself repeatedly. When I clicked on the OK button the ATC kept talking as it should but when I x'd out the box I must have shut it down and never heard from ATC again and so I landed in stealth mode with no one to guide me to the gate. If you need the screenshot of the error I will have to fly that route again and capture it....otherwise, do you know what might be happening and can it be fixed?

I have been using p2a daily with msfs2020 with no problems until today .Then it came up with this error message Unable to initialize Database The underlying provider failed to open. An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file C:\Pilot2ATC_x64\Data\P2aDynamicData.mdf failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share. What the heck happened here? Thanks James

Hi. I've followed every training steps to train my speech. First I did the full windows training speech recognition. After I did all the full Pilot2ATC language trainer beginning on clr delivery until approach. This I did twice. After I did the personal grammar training phrases with sentences I wrote myself simulating a full flight. I've listend to what I said and it was recognized. My english is not so bad... But in a flight ATC keeps saying for me to call with a proper call sign. The call sign I use is accepted in the config and is EASY 1715. I do not know what do next. Any ideas to help me? Thank you. I have fsx steam. If I run makerunways and choose the FSX root folder option when importing a taxiway or gate I get an error message that says ' be sure you have run makerunways' and asking if the the 3 output .csv files are in the designated folder; which they are. If I choose the 'P3D/ MSFS folder with Makerunways Files' option also using the fsx steam root path then it works. This seems odd as it would seem to be the wrong option? Which one should I be using?

I usually fly in the Papua, New Guinea area. At some point during my flight it becomes necessary to report my position, altitude, direction of flight, destination, ETA, etc. to a central location for the purpose of traffic control and advisories. For example departing AYGA (Goroka) and flying to one of the remote bush strips will necessitate my reporting in to Moresby and giving them my flight info. I am dialing in Moresby radar freq for this purpose however I am not able to make contact. What is the best procedure for me to use to accomplish these tasks? Should I be adjusting the Controller Name Radius?

Is anybody using the FF767? I have this weird problem where P2ATC defaults to Com 2 all the time and cannot be changed, all other planes are unaffected so not P2A problem as such, but i cannot figure out why this is happening, it also causes other problems like sometimes freezing P2A and needing to restart, again only with this plane...... I cannot find any setting within the 767 that stops this happening!

Has this ever been solved yet? I keep getting it on random occasions... Just got it now after a turning on the computer for the first time today... The only way I could/can clear it is by rebooting. Once I got it running, the speech was not coming from my headphones so I closed P2A down, and tried to run it again, and yes "ANOTHER INSTANCE ALREADY RUNNING...!" There are no stuck processes, is this a network/port issue? I am surprised it is still an issue to be honest...

Which is the option to enable pilot2atc to chose/change the STAR and arrival runway? i mean, what do i have to active to let pilot2atc to change the STAR when i am near to approach phase thanks Dave

I have loaded the EXMO1A SID from EGFF rw30 but it does not show on the main map? I shows below the SID button ok so it is loaded. Is this a bug or do I need to do something else to make it appear? The landing STAR THRE1S shows on the map at EGHI ok.

Would it be possible to provide a key bind / button assignment for temporarily disabling the ATC chatter? This would be great when using P2A together with other addons that are outputting speech as well to prevent overlapping. I have always been using SelfLoadingCargo, in this case not hearing a cabin announcement because chatter is playing is not a big deal. But now I started to use the new interactive checklist feature of AAO, and in this case missing the checklist item over a chatter playing at the same time really sucks... I think technically it should be doable, P2A already mutes the chatter when pressing the push-to-talk button (that's what I now sometimes…

Hello P2A always switches to ground no matter what I do. Before ATIS and standby was ClrDel. If I change frequency to ClrDel to get clearance it changes to ground. Strange. I reinstalled P2A and FSUIPC with no luck.

Just asking if anyone else has asked; it doesn’t show up in a keyword search anywhere. Was thinking it could sit next to ‘tunes frequencies’ The copilot would dial that in when on the arrival thanks!

I have several Ivona voices that work GREAT in Pilot2ATC. And the random voices settings work with clearance and seemingly any comm... until I get handed off to a "Center". I turned on the option to "Display Random Voice Assignments" in the command display. With that option turned on, it appears that the random selection displays a new/different voice, but the voice that speaks does not change to the voice that is displayed. Again, this seems to work fine until I reach a CTR freq and get passed between them. Thanks! Version: 2.6.0.0_x64_R3

Just trying the demo. What's the format of radio calls? I see some YT vids where they start by saying the controller e.g. **** tower, <call sign>, message etc. However, when I try it appears to only want call sign then message. For example, if I am at EGGD (Bristol in UK), would I say, "EGGD tower, <my call sign>, ready to copy IFR clearance" or "Bristol tower, <my call sign>, ready to copy IFR clearance" or just "<my call sign>, ready to copy IFR clearance"? For info, I notice when calling for weather, winds is spelt Whinds.

Using Pilot2ATC with the A32NX Fly by Wire my transponder keeps changing to random values. If I try to type in the ATC value it either doesn't let me or almost instantly overwrites with random values. I use copilot read back. While flying if I manage to put in the correct value I get '<call sign> radar contact' as expected but then the transponder will change to another value on it sown.
