So I am trying to get a pushback, ATC tells me that the pushback is approved, however, nothing happens, no matter how long I wait. I think this is because Pilot2ATC does't know on what gate I am. I selected my gate multiple time using the Info button and then Runways & Gates, however it resets every time to the first gate available. Is there any way to save the selected gate? and is this also the problem for the pushback not working correctly.

I’m not familiar with the distinctions between voice formats, and I want to make sure that I’m looking for products that are compatible with Pilot2ATC. It looks like Ivona has both TTS (TextAloud4) and SAPI5 voices. The TTS voices are sold in bundles, but the SAPI5 ones are sold as individual voices (I’m looking at American English). For CereProc, I can’t be certain but it looks like their voices are TTS, rather than SAPI5. Is there are a distinction between TTS and SAPI5 voices? If so, is there one format I should get to ensure compatibility? Thanks for your help! Rob

I've got my MSFS2020 CRJ working very nicely with P2A, MCE, and the new Navigraph Navdata Center (Beta). I am using the HP Reverb G2 VR headset, which is a big step forward for VR. I have this problem both VFR and IFR. I try to request a change of altitude but the say it function allows me only to request the FL originally filed. ~ <CallSign> request new altitude of Flight Level <????> I tried manually change the text but it's impossible. Say it function continues saying always the same flight level assigned to the original flight plan. Where can I input the new flight level / altitude I want to fly?

Sorry if answers to these are buried in the rest of the forum. New to P2ATC and this forum. I just started my trial version and so far it looks like it could work okay. I'm tired of the built in ATC in FS2020. First questions... I tried to fly to an uncontrolled airport IFR today. The ATC vectored me to the airport, which I would expect, but left me hanging at 4950 for a runway altitude of 1175. Any way to get it to bring me down closer in distance and altitude. If this had been IFR I probably would have had to divert even if the runway was above minimums. How does one use unicom going into an uncontrolled airport? Do I just swap frequencies to u…

I know it's a beta, but mostly FYI... Imported FMS created by Simbrief, FL should be 380 but P2ATC sets it to 390, and will not let me change it. During flight I requested 380, and ATC understood it, but assigned me to 390... Demon.

Hello, today I am unable to set assigned voices for controllers, the drop down box for each controller remains blank ???? Windows 10 contains numerous text to speech voices such as David, Zira, Hazel but I do not succeed to assign them to a specific controller. Thanks for your help

Hello all - hope all is well. I have a quick question about clearances. Sometimes when Im reading back my clearance, either P2A hears me incorrectly or Ill stumble over my own words. When this happens P2A will say something like Jetblue 22 altitude is 5000 feet. Or Jetblue 22 squak 1234. When this happens what's a proper readback to continue? I've tried reading back whats incorrect with something like, Altitude is 5000 feet Jetblue 22 or Jetblue 22 altitude is 5000 feet. P2A just keep repeating that my readback is incorrect, or gets even more confused with This is clearance go ahead. At this point I usually just start the whole process over. Any ideas what Im doi…

Hi Dave i know at the minuet if i load a file for a single airport taxiways or gates it doesn't get added to the user modified airport list would it be possible when a file does get loaded for it to be added to this list or could you make a second list i see there are quite a few airport taxiways and gateways getting edited and uploaded to flightsim.to it can be hard to keep check on which ones have been modified in side taxi mnt unless you have done the edit your self

@Dave-Pilot2ATC Hi Dave, is the behavior in the picture below meant to be correct? STAR is BED1H, RW27R, BEDEK Transition, approach transition is OCK. On the Zibomod ND, the path is correct. The line is also correct on Navigraph Charts. But on P2A, it appears that the OCK 7nm radial waypoint is drawn in the wrong place (straight north). New user here. I have P2ATC working fine and have it configured to show Traffic Global aircraft. Just wondering does P2ATC 'manage' the AI aircraft also? If not, does it take into consideration AI aircraft positions when directing you, the pilot? Agin, if not, what type of interaction does P2ATC have with AI traffic like Traffic Global?

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but for some reason when I choose e.g. the MERIT departure from KJFK (MERIT 6, RW31L, PUT), Pilot2ATC puts in the JFK VOR as a waypoint, then to MERIT. By contrast. the charts say turn left before R039 of CRI and climb via Breezy Point / Canarsie - with no relevant mention of JFK VOR). So when I flew the takeoff, I think the whole thing wasn't working right since I didn't get any takeoff heading or vectors at all, resulting in me just flying the Breezy Point climb myself with no directions from ATC. Can someone please help? Thanks a lot!

From the release notes: v1.0.8916 A new feature has been added to make it easier to find out what runways are in use by Traffic Global for the AI. A new pseudo-ATC call has been added, default hotkey "End", which will use your current active radio frequency (i.e. COM1/COM2 as selected) to find the nearest airport listening on that frequency and tell you the current wind, anticipated arrival and departure runways (arrival if you are airborne, departure if you are on the ground), and will reserve and clear a parking slot for you if you are airborne. (already solved by itself, as I was writing this post... ah, murphy...) So I had an issue with the Grammer Help window, which wouldn't show. Looks like an init issue, which may have been solved by trying one of the other windows (I'd say TERPs, since it's the only one I hadn't already tried before). Now it works fine, even after restarting the program, so don't spend too much time on this, as this issue is unfortunately not reproductible on my end, sorry... How is calculated the descent rate? in my case with A320 pilot2atc give me the values of 1500 FPM rate , then i start my descent on the green arrow fixing -1500 in plane but they arrive to the next waypoint altitude very soon. what is wrong? thanks

There is a great mod for Garmin GNS530 for MFS2020: https://github.com/pimarc/pms50-gns530 https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/gns530-mod/296598 However I'm unable to import to the modded GNS530, the FPL exported from P2ATC in the MSFS202 - .pln format, with SID/STAR/APPR. I have the "Export SID/STAR/Approach checked in P2ATC export dialog. The GNS530 is not able to interpret the SIDs/STARs properly. I have the same Navigraph DB (AIRAC 2104) installed in P2ATC and the sim. Any hints?

Hi, Can anyone explain why my taxi route to runway 20 at EGHI goes across the grass from the end of the taxiway leading to parking instead of via the mid point access to the runway(see jpg link). I have set a hold short point at the mid point taxiway which is where backtrack clearance to runway 20 should be given. Not sure what else to change. Hi--I run P3dv4.5 HF3 on networked computers. I've been using P2ATC on a client computer flawlessly for over a year in that setup. I have never had any difficulty exporting P2ATC flight plans to P3D in the .pln format. After the latest update, I have encountered difficulties. Instead of a normal wait time after pushing the "export" button with the attendant "plan has been exported" advice, I now am encountering two issues. The first is that hitting the export button does nothing. It highlights itself, but for all but a single time the plan does not export. (I have double checked the network path and it is the same as when exports worked). The other problem is when…

P2ATC will not recognize that the Citation Longitude power is on. The pwr bar stays red. I am running the latest FUIPC7 beta version. I do turn on the ignore battery and avionics in the config to get P2ATC to work. Is this what needs to be done for now, or am I missing something?

Hello! I tried to search for an answer to this, but couldn't find anything. I'm new to the App and think it's amazing. This is regarding basic window and screen space management I see how to keep P2A on top of all windows, that's great. How does one interface with Pilot2ATC with your mouse, but keep the focus on the Sim so the engine sounds, etc. are not interrupted? thanks, Dave

I ran MakeRwys.exe on my MSFS , and it imports the whole chunk of database & csv, Then in Pilot2ATC -> Taxi Mgt -> Import Taxiways/Gates from all airport . This work fine but it left me with all airports being modified (Taxiway / Gate ) Anyone know how to import just a single new airport from Makerwys ? I don't mind fiddle manually with the csv. Here are what i did, I modified following csv with just a single entry of the airport i interested to add. g5.csv r5.csv t5.csv Result in my new airport added , but all others airports are empty (missing taxiway/gates) NEED THE LAST BIT INFO. Hi Dave, Quick question. In X-Plane 11 and latest P2A, when i request taxi to a gate, what causes P2A to say 'no gates available at this airport'? in the Info window, on the runways and gates tab, there are gates listed there. Even if I select one of the gates, and request taxi to that exact gate, i get the same answer. This happens at KLGB to me all the time. I have no traffic enabled, and the gates are physically empty. Hi, a new user here in a trial period. Had a pleasant 10hrs flight but right before the last ATC handover, the ATC cleared me to the STAR and transition and immediately asked me to contact the next ATC. The copilot acknowledged the handover only, automatically (not the approach clearance), and changed the frequency as usual. The issue is that from that moment on, the controllers only did handovers to the next controllers and tower but never acknowledged the copilot check-in with "radar contact... ". In addition, tower did clear me to land but never asked to call on established and never asked me to clear the runway and switch to ground for taxi. Calling ground …
