After entering flightplan and requesting IFR clearance, myflightplan starts reclyling. (cursor moves from waypoint to waypoint down the list)

Pilot2atc was working fine. Then because my drive was completely full, I moved x-plane and a few other programs over to another drive, Now pilot2atc opens and loads but then immediately minimizes to the start bar. It is running because it won't let me open "another" instance, but will not show on screen. Have un-installed and re-installed 3 times including both drives but same result. I also installed x-organizer but don't think this has any bearing on problem. Can't find anything on these forums for this concern. Any ideas?

Can the copilot set the radio freqs if he is not responding to the radio? If so, when does he change freqs? Tom

I want all the engine noises and such to come through my speakers. I want voice to come through my headset. In P3D this worked fine. In MSFS I have set my system playback device to the speakers and in P2A sound output is set to the headset. However, all sound comes through the speakers. I find the sound settings in MSFS to be completely baffling. What settings do I need to get only voice to the headset and the rest to the speakers. Tom

Hi, I created a flight plan with Simbrief and Navigraph. This is the flight plan i copied from Navigraph When i import this flight plan in Pilot2ATC i get a very weird flight plan, with some double waypoints (see screenshot). How can i fix this?

Has anyone successfully got all three packages to play together nicely? I can create a plan in SimBrief/Navigraph and export it as a .PLN file. This imports to MSFS 2020 without issue but importing it to Pilot2ATC throws up errors such as waypoints not recognised or no IFC approaches. If it doesn't throw an error then when the plan is filed the route is changed. If I try to work the other way then the .PLN file from Pilot2ATC imports to MSFS 2020 but is incomplete when imported to Navigraph. I am using the same airac and the latest version of FSUIPC7 (August 2021). I like using Navigraph/Simbrief for flight plan generation but also want the immersion Pilot2ATC creates.

Hi, I am new to P2A and just started my trial period (MSFS). The program looks promising with many options but I have some questions: 1. How can I change AIRAC cycle to the up to date one (I have NAVIGRAPH subscription)? P2A has 1801 by default. 2. Everytime I manually insert simple VFR flight plan into p2A, there is a magenta line heading FROM my destination airport to nowhere... see attachment 3. I tried to fly VFR circuit pattern as I can see in one of the tutorials vids (thought vid is X-plane but I use MSFS). But I cannot fly without flight plan as the author of the vid. It seems there is not available "ready to taxi" request without flight plan.…

Hi All 🙂 Before installing Pilot2Atc on my machine, I would like to have at least an idea of the impact on the FPS using it for MSFS 2020. I know it depends vastly on the rig's specifications but may I have at least a "mean" of what to expect for an actual medium end computer ? Thanks a lot.

I have a recurrent issue, I don´t get taxi instructions to the gate at destination after landing, I don´t receive the ground frequency from t tower. Even more, if I try to get it, requesting to tower change the frequency to ground, I don´t get any response. Maybe I`m doing something wrong? Regards

Hello! I would like to start by saying that P2ATC is amazing and the level of imersion I get from it is unparalleled🙂 After using it for a few months (with MSFS) without any issues, now when leaving EGLL I get assigned to the frequency 118.72 (which I am not able to do) and P2ATC gets stuck in a loop since the copilot is not able to set the frequency automatically. Checking EGLL frequencies, I understand that it should be 118.7 and not 118.72. I am using navigraph with AIRAC 2108. Any suggestion on what I could do to fix it? I believe it might be a data issue with the AIRAC maybe? Thank you very much! Douglas Osterkamp

I used to plan my VFR flights in Plan-G, export them (.pln for FSX/P3D), then import into P2A. In 2.6.2.3 R2 this isn't possible, I get message "Unable to import flight plan. Please ensure it is the proper form". So I did some tests exporting and importing between Plan-G, Littlenavmap, P2A. While I could import anything in Plan-G and Littlenavmap (the last with warnings about "missing starting point" = runway), I could import no newer flight plans in P2A. I thought to create a topic in the Plan-G forum, but then I created a short flight plan with three points LFMR - LFNA - LFNC in P2A, exported it there as P3D .pln and did a re-export of this .pln in P2A…

I have re-installed FSX and pilot2atc but when trying to connect to fsx get a message ' Connection Open failed. FSUIPC.FSUIPOCException;FSUIPC Error #2 etc ' Hoping you can help regards Brian

I start off with a Plantronics headset and set up the aircraft in 2D, get my ATC IFR plan with a scratch pad, then switch to my Reverb headset when ready to fly. The speakers switchover, but the microphone doesn't in P2A. I did find that connect/reconnect in P2A switched over the microphone to the Reverb, but then my flight planning didn't survive. Windows Control Panel reflected the in/out with Reverb while I was looking for a magic button in P2A. Does this have a fix? thanks

Ive searched this and other forums for finding a fix my current issues with pilot2atc, on any flight plan after verified and filed to any 2 points, using x-plane 11.55r2 , toliss A321 with global traffic, fsglobal real weather, and xvison with specific scenery for each airport I fly into an out of ( kphx,kden,klas,ksfo) I consistantly get multiple heading change calls from atc to "turn to heading xxx, when I have already selected the heading and currently on requested heading during rnav/gps apprach to runway final with any flight plan, 2nd, on final i consistantly get "please repeat last request", when…

Pilot2ATC don't give me any SID and runway to make the departure from LEMD (Madrid - Barajas), is that correct? I am using last airac 2108 tested in a few different fligt plans and never gime me a runway and SID for departure How can be fixed? thanks

ATC just stops responding to any request except for 'radio check'. Although the audio of the co-pilot is when pressing 'say it', the words don't repeat in green. This happened every time I did a flight from KFJK to EGLL. I used time compression / ground speed compression. Could this be the cause of it? Because it's getting a bit strange now that every time this route ATC just stops working completely. @Dave-Pilot2ATC

everything is fine till I climb up. Than it seems frequency does not change and remains same on both com1 and 2 so it goes in a loop with ATC asking for frequency change, it changes and moves to COM1 but than COM1 suddenly gets same frequency as COM2. Happened in the last 2 flights I did and even if I try a manual frequency change it goes back again to the previous. (using fs2020)

Tried going direct tonight to a different airport. Steps I took... Request direct to new airport from ATC and got permission Push the direct button and pull up the direct dialog box, type in new airport, hit load. New airport shows up in my flight plan. Questions.... Does ATC now direct me to the new airport? How do I set up an approach to that airport, I think I tried to do that and it wouldn't allow me modify the approach while I was flying. Hi I'm new to the forum. Some months ago I purchased version 2.6×64 and have been enjoying using it during that time. Today I have tried to start of the program as usual and all I see is a quick flash of a window starting up and immediately shutting down again. I have briefly seen a title on the window with the words License Manager. However, the window doesn't stay long enough to read it properly. I wait for awhile, and nothing happens. I have completely uninstalled the program and then installed it again, but the same thing happens. I’ve set it to run as administrator, but still the same. Hi Dave, I seem to have lost P2A. I was having CTDs with MSFS and couldn't even get it to open. Their support told me to delete all the MS C++ programs installed and just install the latest one. I did that and MSFS now runs. So I tried to load P2A and it won't even start. The splash screen won't even appear. So I reinstalled it and still no luck. Any ideas???

This may be a stupid question but in the Config P2A setup, there is an option Enable Hidden Aircraft. I have read the manual but could not find any Description. What does this option do? Sorry if it is simple Thanks

Today i have loaded a flight plan LPMA to LXGB and like i usually do i have used the option autoplan to let P2ATC to assign the SID, STAR and APPR but unafortunatelly it didn't assing any STAR and APPR for LXGB. I have tried to assign it manually but there is nothing to assign (RW09 or RW27) . How can o solve it? i am using last Airac (2108) thanks and sorry if this was asked before by another user ç

Good morning Dave, and a Happy New Year to you! I am having a bit of a problem importing a flight plan from SimBrief into P2A. It is a flight from EDDK-KSDF, and the SimBrief route (less dep/arr airports and SID & STAR) is: WYP P64 TENLI L602 SPY DCT LONAM L7 FORTY DCT OSBON DCT 62N010W 63N020W 63N030W 62N040W 60N050W DCT VESMI N726A ALSOP DCT HENDY DCT YVO DCT GOPUP DCT ROD DCT CVG When I import into P2A, everything between 'FORTY' and 'VESMI' is missing. (I should mention that I am copying and pasting the route into the import window). Could I be doing something wrong? I have imported other shorter plans, and do not recall having had any issues. …
