bought p2atc yesterday but am having trouble setting up my Thrustmaster hotas button to work as PTT. Hello, I'm quite a beginner and maybe a forgot something in the configuration, but I noticed that taxiways and gates have a slight offset in the maps (an example here at EGNT). The runways are ok. My data are updated with Navigraph. Any clues on a solution ? Regards, Fred

small airports are not showing up in p2a (msfs 2020). Neofly uses a lot of fields/strips that show up in the sim and LNM, but not in p2a. these fields are all default in msfs 2020 so is this just a limitation in p2a? If not, how can get these airfields to show on p2a?

I don't seem to have much luck using the Random Voice Setting. Do I need to remove all the individual controller voices in the list above this setting in order to have the random voices function? I have a selection of random voices configured but it still follows the voices I've set in the individual controller section. Ken.

I noticed that P2ATC is always giving generic names to taxiways that don't match the real world. I searched threads and read the manual. I ended up downloading the makerunways and doing an import. However, I noticed that the information is still wrong. Does this mean that MSFS has the wrong taxiway data? Is there a file where I can Load Airport Taxiways (under save/load screen) where there's already maintenance done? Just trying to have a better understanding and know my options. Thanks!

I'm posting this in case it helps others users solve a problem I was having with missing STARs in Pilot2ATC. Here's a quick summary of the problem I was having: I'm subscribed to Navigraph so I have access to the latest AIRAC cycles (2106 at the time of writing this) in SimBrief. Hello. Small question about P2ATC assigning Approaches, STAR´s and arrival runways. I just made a flight from KMIA to KLAX. In KLAX P2ATC had 24R&L and 25R&L active, departures and arrivals were from those runways. P2ATC still assigned me to runway 07L, which was unactive ? It is user´s or mine fault, so I would like to know what am I doing wrong on a flight planning ? Should the P2ATC assing runways automaticly, or should I check which runway is active and then set it up to flight plan ? Cheers

here's a new one for me, after about 45 minutes into an IFR flight, no microphone PTT button lights up the mic is operational and no text shows up. in the "sat it" window center is still trying to get me to contact them any ideas ?????? Denis

Good morning. I was just given the instruction to taxi to 04R, hold short at 04L. Once I got to 04L, I couldn't figure out how to get clearance to cross 04L. Eventually, I got cleared to take off 04L (which didn't match the original instructions). Am I missing something? Is there a specific way to get clearance to cross 04L ? thanks!

I'm a longtime registered user of Pilot2ATC. All of a sudden it won't run anymore. I used it yesterday and all was well. This afternoon it won't get passed the database (at about 10% it gets stuck and after a while crashes). The only thing that has changed since yesterday is a small Windows 10 update this morning. Nothing else has changed. I already tried re-installing P2A (the newest version 2.6.2.3_x64_R2). Same result. Stuck at 10%.

Ran into an issue on my last flight where Pilot2ATC lost track of where I was waypoint wise, causing it to never have me descend, etc. After I landed, it quickly cycled through each waypoint on the FPL screen as if it was speed reading to catch up through them. In the future if I encounter this, what's the best way to force pilot2atc to track you from a specific waypoint on the trip. Example Flight is A-Z. It thinks I'm at F but really I'm between M and N. How do I tell it that the next waypoint in the list for me is N? Refile? Edit the flight plan and refile?

Hello, I recently decided to try pilot2atc. I was going to just purchase but then decided to try the trial to see if I like it. I am trying to avoid using a mic if possible. I could not find a thread for this issue or any help on the internet. The app seems to work fine in all aspects, flight planning, connecting to the sim etc. However, when clicking the ? button to use the say it feature, I get no drop down menus. They are just blank. I cannot find any videos that target this problem. Only video avail is how to use it. I did notice in the video that in the speech box, his said "grammers loaded", which mine does not. Hi Guys, I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong here, but I keep running into an issue where P2A is giving me clearance for a particular runway and then taxi instructions to a different runway. Has happened at a handful of airports. I thought it must be something to do with the taxi instructions. So I started trying to use the Taxi way editor. I've tried importing two airports so far. Hi guys i just did a flight from EGCC Manchester airport to get to runway 05R you need to back track i run make runways and imported all the changes after the last fs2020 update i had two things happen 1 there was a plane that p2a could see waiting to back track i could see it as a blue plane on the p2a map there was on instructions from p2a about this plane 2nd thing when i got to the back track point there was no in instruction for this so i am thinking the trigger for this is missing but looking on Taxi Mnt i am not sure where to start its looking like this as the min it also got me to taxi to the start of runway 23L where i think in real lif…

Hi, I'm using MSFS. Is it currently possible to transmit on COM1, but simultaneously listen in on COM1 and COM2, for example to get the ATIS, without going off frequency? The only way I can listen in on COM2 is to click the COM2 button in P2A, or if I switch to COM2 in the cockpit. But then I only hear COM2 traffic. Am I missing something? If not, is that a feature that can be added in a future update, or is this currently not possible with the MSFS SDK?

Hello, I haven't flown on a simulator for 2 months. Today, when I want to start P2ATC I have this message: License Validation Failed: EmptyKeyOrHdweld I have my activation key and my e-mail displayed in the P2ATC connection dialog box. I tried to deactivate and reactivate the application, to me it does not work. Have there been any updates in the last 2 months? Have you encountered this problem? Vincent

Pilot2ATC don't recognize LERJ like an airport and can't make the flight plan starting from this airport "It appears your flight plan does not originate at this airport. Please correct and refile your plan. " Here is the flight plan from Simbrief LERJ DGO G255 LOMDA LECO

ATIS is indicating runway 8 at PADQ and after filing my flight plan, ground IFR clearance is assigning me runway 26? is this a bug, or do I need to assign a runway with in PILOT2ATC?? thanks!

Hi All, I' trying to figure out Pilot2ATC's Taxiway manager with....odd outcomes. Importing ORBX's KSAN into Pilot2ATC gives me this; God alone knows how it got the above from the ADE file which is below.... but it did. Anyway, instead of trying to untangle the web of taxiways that it has imported, I wondered if there was perhaps a repository online of saved airport taxiway/gate config files people had done? When bound for EGLL or EGKK, London's two main airports, I always get handed directly from London CTR to TWR, which is a bit of an immersion breaker with background ATC chatter. Is this is because Pilot2ATC interprets all RDRDIR frequencies as departure, rather than approach/departure? I'm wondering whether any other users have noticed this and, if so, found a way around it?
