Still love the product but seems to be a little hit and miss again, currently flying my GA Flights as Conquest G-BLPS on my initial call to a controller giving my full callsign/reg used to work before using just Conquest LPS now the system will not pick it up in fact it transcripts part of it as popeye see you.... No idea trying to work out what it thinks i said for popeye to come up as it works out papa..... also is there a command to say to get dirrect to a route waypoint.... ie Direct to waypoint ONBED? thanks

    For some reason my flight turned VFR. Okay. But is there a way to request IFR once airborne? I could not figure how to do that. Anybody know the phraseology?

  4. Was flying XP11 with P2A today and all was fine right up to 'contact tower'. Radio tuned, choose "Ready for takeoff Rwy xx". Nothing... Double checked frequency and tried again. Again nothing. Went ahead and took off rather than starting all over. But isnt there a way to re-connect / start while in the air? PS P2A is still 'connected' green light and showing my track on the map.

    Had to download reinstall again with the latest version came with nav version 1801, used nav data manger to upgrade all my addons to the latest version, but pilot2atc still remains 1801 in the gui , but in the cycle info in the nav data folder its saying 2501, was wondering how to update or is it some kind of bug?

    this should be ease: just started using the option to have co pilot answer radio calls. there is also a box to check for "Co pilot changes frequency" now what I want to do is just have the co pilot change frequency. but every time I answer a call the box for co pilot answers automatically get checked, so next call he answers. QUESTION : do the two have to be used together or is there a way to just have the co pilot change frequency ???

    I noticed under say it there is a open flight plan option how dose this work could not find it in the manual i had a saved vfr flight plan from EGLC to EGOC i asked it to load the flight plan both with speech and say it+ both times is told me i had no flight plan registared i was using FS2020 if that makes a difference

    Hi guys, just took off from egph heading to lfpg. I loaded my flight plan, I asked to copy ifr clearance, pushback, startup taxi etc all went well. I got in the air and tower said " frequency change approved" I didn't ask for a frequency change and wasn't given a frequency to connect too. Do I have to manually find the Freq for Scottish centre and then request something else or have I missed a step? I validated and filed my flight plan

    Hi guys, still new to p2a and still in demo mode at the moment but only issue I seem to have is setting my Ptt button. I have a few Leo bodnar boards all with the same name in Windows joystick dialog, BU0836A, I have 2 of these, one is the USB throttle quadrant and the other is a custom made yoke with my Ptt button. If I try and setup my yoke Ptt button #3 and click set / save all is fine, but once I close the window it always reverts back to BUO836a button 11 which is actually the throttle. Seems it's having a hard time saving with the Yoke Usb so instead I've had to temporarily setup a mouse click for now. Am I missing something or is there another work around to h…

  10. When do changes to taxiways or gates or runways become active? Immediately after you have saved them and closed the Taxiway Maintenance Window? Or is a restart of P2A necessary? The reason I ask this: At the end of my last flight, after landing and leaving the runway, I asked for taxi instructions to the GA ramp. The response of the controller and the drawing of the taxipath were completely wrong. The depiction of the taxipath showed a short straight line on a patch of grass. Hello Dave 🙂 (P2A v2.6.2.2 r3b / X-Plane 11.53 / Windows 10) When I hold down a keyboard key (not assigned in P2A) for a few seconds (e.g. the N key on my physical keyboard), the copilot automatically announces to the control centre for no reason (e.g. "centre <aircraft callsign> at flight level xxx" and the control centre announces the radar contact). This occurs after releasing the keyboard key. I can't suppress this automatic unwanted radio contact from the copilot each time a keyboard key remains pressed for a few seconds (2 to 3 seconds for example) I have tried disabling all keyboard shortcuts in the P2A configuration, but the problem persists. …

    Dear all, first of all thx for the work you do on Pilot2ATC! Now my question. It is about the OOD and EVEN Tracks. When i fly, for example, from LOWW to LSGG then i have to climb first to FL340 (EVEN). By entering to Swiss i have to climb or descend to an OOD level, FL330 or FL350. Is it possible to tell this to Pilot2ATC? Cause when i fill the Flightplan, after validate and file, the FL stays at the EVEN Track of FL340. Thank you for your time. Thomas

After being constantly crash landed by Microsoft ATC in the past and two incidents on VATSIM that I witnessed and triggered me as a professional psychologist, I decided to begin my search for a good ATC program this morning.     Hi Looking at the attached pic, groundspeed at MOXEE is 450Kts. At Portal GS is 270Kts. Now does that mean you are to slowly decelerate from 450 to 270 between that distance, or do you maintain 450 until you're close to Portl, then slow quickly?   16. FS 2020. Windows 10. Alienware Arora R12. FSUIPC7 installed. Made a flight from KMEZ to KLIT, with STAR, CoPilot handling all radio comms, with PERFECT flight, including a go-around (plane on runway), with ATC vectors to another ILS approach. The PTT buton is Honeycomb Alpha, left "trigger" (button 0), and the PTT button window shows green, but I never get an answer from ATC. Sometimes, I get a reply something like "Aircraft calling Center say again with your call sign.", but usually just never hear anything. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Ok this is probably my last (understanding) before buying. Was the "ATC gives vectors to ILS" setting removed from Config-FltPlan or moved, is there a way to enable it ? The reason I'm asking is because let's say I want to do a total dark cockpit flight without GPS or P2A screen.     Hi, I'm reading through the VFR script that is pinned here in the forum. However, I still have problems with arrivals in a class bravo airport, as for example KBOS. In the script it says you should file a vfr flightplan, which I do. Then I want to contact Approach to get my bravo clearance with the following call: "Approach, [CallSign] is 30 miles [Bearing] at 5500 feet request permission to enter KBOS bravo airspace" I still do not get what I should say as my 'bearing'. I tried South West, SW and so on. Nothing gets accepted. So I guess it's the bearing that does not get recognised. I'm using SayIt+, so it's not that the speech-to-text doesn't underst…

    I know things have been weird for the past year, but I'm wondering if there is any update or timeline as to when Pilot 2 ATC will be able to communicate with in-sim AI traffic? Last I heard, about 2 years ago, it was being worked on, but I've seen/heard nothing since. I am hoping this feature comes available soon because it's really the only thing keeping me from using it on a regular basis - hearing communication not only helps with immersion but also helps with spacial awareness as to the traffic around you.   20. So I'm experimenting with the VFR flight plans and ATC. Doing a short hop from KCKV to KBNA, a distance of about 40+miles. I create and file my flight plan, and before taking off, I open my flight plan with Memphis Center. So far so good. About 20 miles from KBNA, I contact approach on 119.35 with my request/intention to land on Runway 20L. ATC responds by acknowledging/granting my request, but for a runway at a nearby airport instead. I notice when tuned into 119.35, it's not labeled as "KBNA's approach", but instead it's labeled as the other airport's approach frequency. However, 119.35 is the correct approach frequency for KBNA.     So, I'm running AIRAC 2104 on X Plane, LittleNavMap and Pilot2ATC. I create a flightplan in LNM and when i try to import it into P2ATC it cant find it (says it can't find waypoint XEI0007 in database). The airport exists in XPlane. Just wondering why when all 3 programs are using the same AIRAC and airport exists within X PLane, Pilot2ATC doesn't recognise them. I've tried with another airport also with same result. The airports are XEI0007 - Ballina and XEILCEI - Lough Conn.

    I was flying today to Warsaw and was asked to tune into Warsaw Ctr at 143.50. Obviously, it is not possible to tune it that frequency as the frequency band stops somewhere at 138.xy Could you pls correct that in the next update. Thank you. Regards Roland

    Hi Dave, First of all, thanks for an amazing product - this has brought my MS2020 experience to another level. Lately, I have been having a few problems with arrivals in P2A. For realism, I have ATC assigning SID, STAR and approach and once the ATC assigns STAR and approach mid-flight, I load them into my FMC and update the P2A flight plan so that the two match. I then validate the flight plan in P2A again as this seems to be the correct way to sync the P2A map. However, after the first STAR waypoint, the P2A says I'm off course and turns me pretty much 90 degrees left or right.
