Hello Dave 🙂 P2A v2.6.2.3-r2 works fine and accesses your server normally for validation 👍 However, I can't test anymore P2A 2.6.3.0 Beta1F, it can't access your server for validation. When starting P2A 2.6.3.0 Beta1F I have these three windows that appear:

Hi Dave, How do I start using a gate ? I tried to set it up in the INFO after clicking in the airport but doest seen to be saving or working.. If i load a flight plan done (even using the gate in the INFO) it starts in the runway and if i try to manually set the gate in the msfs, it changes all my flight plan. Thank you

Hi Dave, quick question. How do we report a missed approach in Pilot2AT ? I checked here and not quite sure the right steps. Will the software coordinate with me the new headings in case I can report a missed approach ? Thank you

Ok, so I've got pilot2atc and xplane11. I'm trying to file a flight from cyvr-cyyj. I make the flightplan in pilot2atc validate and file. Then I export to xplane's fms folder. I see it in the gps but when I try to load it tells me it can't load the plan because of missing waypoint IRKON. All nav cycle stuff is up to date 1805. Can anyone try to recreate this? maybe tell me what is going on? I can't figure it out. I love flight sims but I spend way more time getting things to work than flying =/

Hi guys, i'm testing the Pilot2ATC to see if I will buy it. So far i'm loving it. I just cant realize why I cant land using ILS. When using GPS all goes right and leave me direct to the airfield. When I turn on the cdi TO LOC1 and Approach on, the airplane moves to the oposite way and keep going forever in the oposite way. Probably something really silly, but just cant find why. Does anyone know the best way to toggle the display on and off while in xPlane? Let me explain, I start Pilot2ATC and conduct my planning etc. I then start xPlane and bring up the aircraft. When I do P2A goes into the background. I have to use the WIN tab to go back to the task bar to bring the PTA back on top? I use Stream Deck to set many of the toggles with hotkeys, is there one for this?

I have completed a couple of VFR flight plans and when I get handed over to approach I get no further instructions. Is it up to me to just land or should the ATC give me further instructions? Tks.

I have gone through tutorials, the manual and do as instructed. I make or import the plan, validate it, save it, and load it. My plane is at the flight origin of the flight plan. I load it and go to my plane and there is no sign of pilot2atc being loaded. Ready to give up on p2atc even though it has the features I want. Thanx in advance for any help.

Hello Dave, I'm running the actual Beta Version (1f) and using taximnt very often to correct wrong (position, naming, type...) taxiwaxs and gates (default or from MakeRunways). So I open taximnt with maximized window, when editing. Most of the time I have the Navigraph Charts opened in another window on screen (One Monitor only). The taximnt window seems to be configured (p2atc internaly?) that it always stays on top of the screen. Therefor I'm not able to fast-switch (<ALT><TAB>) between taximnt and the navigraph window AND also "subscreens" of taximnt (e.g. "Rename Path") will be opened or better stay "behind" the taximnt window but they are activ.…

Hi Dave 🙂 P2A v2.6.3.0 PublicBeta1F Taxi Mnt window: After opening the Taxi Mnt window with the "Taxi Mnt" button, it turns green, which is correct. But when we close the Taxi Mnt window by using the little close cross at the top right of the Taxi Mnt window, the "Taxi Mnt" button remains lit in green. It is not normal to have this button lit in green if the Taxi Mnt window is not displayed. However, if we close the Taxi Mnt window by using the "Taxi Mnt" button again, this button turn correctly into white.

In the latest beta (2e), the text to speech engine is reading things differently than it used to. not a bug, just a little annoying. like when it reads off the wind info on take off, it pronounces "winds" as w-eye-nds. also reads back flight numbers strangely too. Not sure if this changed on 2e specifically. I was a few versions behind before i upgraded. Thanks, Joe

I am using P2ATC to practice for a real world instrument rating, and am enjoying it. However I do wonder about this. The sequence involving a vectors-to-final approach clearance should follow the following PTAC pattern: POSITION- I am good with that part being left out of the approach controller's language. I'm sure it would be difficult to program. TURN- Approach controller gives final heading to intercept the approach course. ALTITUDE- Approach controller gives final altitude instructions to enter the approach. CLEARANCE- Approach controller clears pilot for the approach in question. I'm just seeking clarification about adding voices. I only seem to have Microsoft Anna on this Win7-64 PC. I've read rather offputting things that say SAPI5 isn't compatible with 64-bit applications. Is that really true, or is that just referring to the fact that the text reading applications haven't been published in 64-bit form? Why don't SAPI4 voices work? They seem much cheaper (but lower quality I assume). I thought P2A was using the speech synthesis facilities, or does it use a package compiled into itself? $45 for Ivona SAPI voices seems very exhorbitant, and they only seem to offer Ameican voices in SAPI5. Not so appropriate in Europe, where I fly e…

Is it possible or may be thinking about the possibility of adding wav. files of cabin annoucements that can be added to be triggered by Altitude or other factors? I have a folder of Wav. cabin announcements that I click on throughout the flight now and it really is cool and adds a lot. It would be neat if that could somehow be added to P2ATC. Just asking. Again I love this app. Works perfect. Thanyou so much for keeping it up to date and so responsive. Appreciate it.

In LEMD i have asiggned for take off the runways 14L and 14 R When i push autoplan it assigns me Rwy32L for take off and there isn't SIDs for that runway Any fix for that? thanks a lot

Hi Dave, I am facing this issue whereby P2A always assigns me to a gate or parking which is occupied but I am not sure if it is a P2A issue or have I configured something incorrectly? I am currently using AI Traffic add-on from Alpha India Group (AIG) but only using static AI for now to populate the airports so I am not sure if this issue will also happen if I use live traffic. Occasionally, there are also no marshallers at the assigned ramp (might be an MSFS issue, I don't know).

Sorry if this has been asked before but I was wondering if it is necessary to import the gates and taxiways for all airports or for that matter, any 3rd party airports that I might have?

Why when I open Pilot2ATC does it look like this and not show the map? I have no idea how to fix it and need help please. Thanks

Hello Dave, I have two questions Just installed p2atc Version 2.6.3.0 Public Beta 1a. When trying to use taximnt, the taximnt window did not open at all without error notification. Is this a known problem or something changed? I'd like to (re)configure the installation of ATC-Chatter to use "Country Folders" instead of the "Controller Folders" and the "Default Region". As far as I understood, I need to change the folder structure in p2atc (at the moment it looks like: <Path to p2atc exe>\Sounds\ATC_Chatter\Regions\Africa|Asia|Canada|Custom|Europe|Oceania|South America|United States\Controllers\<All Controller folders>. Hi Dave, When reloading a VFR flight plan that has had Autoplan applied to it before saving, the destination waypoint nor any of the automated intermediate points are listed in the flight plan. Example of saving and loading a non-autogenerated flight plan: New Flight plan -> Add Wpt -> EGKK -> Add wpt -> EGLL, then save, New Flight plan, load the saved flight. You'll see EGKK and EGLL in the list and the map will zoom to the route. Now click Autoplan, and then Save as a different filename. Now click New Flight plan, and reload the just-saved flight. Now, only EGKK is shown in the waypoint list (both EGLL and any auto-generated points are…

Using 2.6.2.4 beta2F I have imported this FP LEBL DCT GRAUS UM601 CEGAM DCT LEBB When i push autoplan , pilot2atc assign SID but nothing for APPR and STAR and when i am arriving at airport (LEBB) the ATC didn't say nothing to me (no starting descend , and no STAR assigned for landing)

Hi Dave I have just had a session updating and 'spring cleaning'. Looking at everything closer than usual, I noticed that in the P2A heading an old AIRAC was referred to - 1705. I subscribe to and use the Navigraph Data Manager to update, and it shows that P2A is updated to 1804. How can I make P2A aware that I subscribe to Navigraph? Regards Frank
