I'm using Navigraph charts and I always have most current Navigraph DB updated in the P2ATC. I fly in VR, so I use 100% voice communication with P2ATC, I can't see P2ATC interface, so I can't check the freq. in P2ATC. Like in the real world flying, where we have just the controllers voice in the headset and notinh like P2ATC interface. On take-off, while still on TWR freq, I would like to have DEP or APP freq preselected following the relevant Navigraph STAR chart. However P2ATC TWR very often hands me over to different DEP or APP freq than the one specified on the Navigraph chart. At this stage of flight it's difficult to handle the plane and to turn the freq knobs.…

Hello folks, I have a question perhaps someone can help with. When using P2ATC for setting my flight plan in my FMC as well as for ATC guidance (I love this BTW), why is it that I sometimes get ATC guidance to change heading when in my cruise when it appears from the flight plan map I am following the routed as indicated? Is this normal, and I should follow the ATC guidance until I receive the 'resume navigation' message or do I ignore this. I was assuming that the ATC knows something I don't and is adjusting my route accordingly, but really not sure. Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks..

I first want to say I do enjoy using P2ATC and after going through the user guide I found a lot of neat settings, one being a tone I can set to see if my read back or response to ATC was understood. One thing I would like to see is to use the airport name such as Santa Barbra instead of kilo Sierra Alfa Bravo. So the first part of the read back would be clear to Santa Barbra. When I come near Santa Barbra, I am told to contact Santa Barbra approach. IFR readback on clearance can me long so shortening the first part would be nice. Actually, I have not tried to just say cleared to Santa Barbra. When I contact tower or ground, I can say Santa Barbra tower and ATC …

Hi there, just started using the pilot2atc demo the last couple of days, however i've started running into this issue whereby upon alt-tabbing from the pilot2atc window back into MFS2020 midflight my mouse cursor will sometimes not reappear in the flight sim and my keyboard becomes unresponsive (in the sim). I can alt tab back to any other window (inc. pilot2atc) and my mouse and keyboard is working fine. Interestingly, my joystick and its buttons would still function normally in the sim, and the sim continues to run normally. Hi, I use Pilot2ATC and whenever I use the Sim weather option, ATIS always says weather not available, any suggestions?

The personal grammar training phrases inside the grammar helper is not working. (error: click on adv. options and set microsoft speech recognizer 8.0) The full training part does work. I won't get the error here and training works fine. Why is that?

I use vectors or jet ways such as J45. Is there a way to enter that in P2ATC?

Hi All..using simbrief and p2atc. MSFS just updated airac to 2021. I understand I have to purchase navgraph to get 2021 for simbrief. Assuming I make purchase, how do I get the SID/STAR in simbrief to match in pilot2atc and MCDU? Right now they often don't match.

When I depart from an airport and assigned to the center, I am told to expect the ILS even though the destination airport is a couple of hundred nm away. With IFR doesn't that come when close to the approach for the destination airport. I am using the 10 day try version.

Hello, New user here - using MSFS 2020. Planned a flight from KSFO to KEGE. Everything was going OK until decent. I was instructed to descend to FL 13600 and the co-pilot acknowledged. I was at 13600 and then the loop started of ATC saying to descend FL 13600 and the co-pilot responded. This kept up for some time. When ATC finally stopped saying 13600 the copilot kept repeating descend to 13600 over and over and over again. Was way to high to intercept glide scope. Anything I can do about this? Thanks. So I've set it all up and the Polly app works fine. But when I set the Polly voices in P2ATC, I hear nothing. But I can hear when its set to the Microsoft voices. I'm using P2ATC v2.6.2.3 R2

Hi, I was hoping you might tell me which datarefs P2ATC is looking at to read indicated altitude? It appears that due to the custom nature of the hotstart CL650, the altimeter reading that P2ATC reads, is not what is shown in the cockpit. If I know which ref you are looking at, I can hopefully knock together a script to make it all play ball... Thanks, James

Hallo and good morning from Germany, are there any problems at the moment regarding the connectivity to the P2ATC license servers? At first startup I got a timeout, the next time I only saw a popup in order to activate my (already activated) license. P2ATC won't start. Best regards, Alexander

last couple of days I have flown in and out of a couple new destinations for me in Canada. REQUEST TAXI is telling me and showing me crazy instructions. This is where I download and use MakeRwys app for that location to correct the situation?

Hi I'm considering buying pilot2atc for use in MSFS I've seen some tutorials but they're not really clear on everything so I have some questions - Will the pilot be given a SID/STARS without having it preparing it in the application? (Which is not that realistic) - Is ATC aware of speed restrictions, TA/TL that is given on SID/STAR? - Does ATC change to Radar Vectoring if so required? - Does ATC change the runway and approach if weather change during flight? - Can the ATC directs you to holding? - Does pilot2atc create flightplans for PMDG-aircrafts, QW-aircratfs, Aerosoft aircrafts and Level-D Aircrafts? - Is there is a textinterface in the aircraft…

Pilot2ATC was working fine for a few days after I bought it but now neither the maps or the ATC work. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application and restarting my pc but neither had an effect.

A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share. At first the new beta update f could not find any airac. finally I place everything into the Pilot2ATC_2021_64X folder. But I get this error message and the App doesn't work. It opens showing the correct Airac but the app just sits there. May I need to just uninstall eveything and start from scratch. I hope not...It worked perfect a few days ago.

Hello, I have the XP11 last version for pc, XPUIPC 2.0.5.9 and on the same pc the P2A 2.6.2.3 trial. I'm on aircraft and everytime i press the connect, i have "Simulator Disconnected" message and it never connected. What should i do? Thank You!!!

Tried the trial version and everything worked great. Bought the license yesterday and everything works fine except TERPS. I enter and ICAO code while connected to my sim but no charts are found. I have confirmed Adobe is the default reader per the instruction manual. All of my settings and configs were saved from when I set up the trial version but charts is the only thing not working. Running into an issue with X-plane 11 & Pilot2ATC (currently running 2.6.3.0 Public Beta 2d) getting IFR release at smaller airports lately, not sure if this is a bug, or just as likely me doing something wrong, but as an example: KMQI, connect to sim, I get ATIS, but no default second channel on swap. Pick KMQI App_Dep (124.75) from Freq list, get my clearance, am told to contact 124.75 (same channel I'm on) for IFR Release when number one for departure. Hello, whenever i try to load the weather injector i get the error "Weather file missing error" "The current Wx_snapshot.txt file appears to be corrupt or empty. Will now use NOAA Weather." Already tried reinstalling active sky but no luck. P2A weather tab is pointed to "C:\Users\[...]\AppData\Roaming\HiFi\AS_XPL\Weather Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
