Hi Dave, First world problem here but thought I'd see if there is a solution or workaround. I'm using MSFS with AIG models and injecting using either REALTRAFFIC/PSXSEECON or just the usual AIG Traffic Controller. Obviously, there is no .BGL traffic using either method and the AI is injected into the sim. The AI is appearing in the P2ATC and some data fields are populated (altitude, heading, gs etc) but I note the RW and DEST/DEP are not. I presume this is a limiting factor of injecting with AI Traffic Controller or REALTRAFFIC (perhaps @Kaiii3 can comment)? The other day I was doing a VFR flight from KBNA to KMEM. Prior to the flight I requested traffic advisories, was given my squawk code and off I went. About halfway through the flight, I canceled the traffic advisories. The Center ATC acknowledged the request and told me frequency change was approved. About 30 miles or so out from KMEM, I tuned to Approach as I was going to check in or request 'B' space entry. As soon as I did that, however, the ATC voice instructed me to tune back to Center. Because I have my Pilot2atc settings to automatically tune frequencies, it did then automatically switch it back to Center. Thereafter, I thought maybe I needed to instead…

@ Dave I'm a big fan of Pilot2ATC and use the program very often. I only use the texts available under Sayit. And now I have the following problem: Towards the end of the last flight I wanted to contact ATC, but suddenly the P2A screen only had two white fields without scrolltown choice and with no more Sayit-text. And so I could no longer communicate with the ATC. How can I fix this? Because without these texts I can no longer use P2A. Thank you for your the help and regards

I have had some odd behaviour from the public beta I am running at a specific route. I import the flight plan from simbrief. I add the SID and omit the STAR as none is called for at the destination and add the runway with the transition waypoint. It all looks good initially on both the map and the plan. Once I validate and then file the plan, I lose 2 waypoints not including the connection to the transition waypoint. The FMC in the aircraft had no issue with any of the waypoints and did end up arriving safely with my passengers intact but I found it quite odd that three waypoints would suddenly disappear upon validation in Pilot2ATC. Hi all, First of all I am very new to Pilot2atc which I think is an astonishing piece of software and knocks the Microsoft Flight Simulator one out of the park. So far I have had a few successful flights with it with P2ATC instructing me from clearance, pushback, taxiing and departure through ascending to my cruise FL, instructing me to change frequencies as and when required and then finally guiding me down to land. Fantastic! However, on more than one occasion, p2atc has successfully guided me through the first few steps above, to departure. Hey Dave, Any chance night mode could be incorporated into a future release? When flying at night, I keep the cockpit dark and all other screens / apps I'm able to dim into a night mode but P2A stays quite bright. Thanks.

I have been ignoring this but when I read back the taxi ATC repeats it again even though I do read it back normal. What am I doing wrong

I think I am deciding between Amazon Polly and Microsoft Azure, though I haven't seen any evidence that Azure is actually compatible with P2A. Is it? If so, does anyone have direct experience with Azure in P2A and XP11? Or is Amazon Polly my only option in this case? Thanks!

Hi I've been away from P2A for a few weeks and decided to use it this morning. However, I have no voice detection. I've gone through several hints from other threads but no success. if the image link works below, can anyone spot anything obvious? There seems to be a disconnect from ATC when giving descent instructions. Hey Dave, I believe this has been an issue in the current "stable" release and has carried over into the Betas. If you are on the ATIS frequency, and change to another frequency (during the pause between ATIS announcements) ATIS continues to broadcast on the changed to frequency. If you make the change while ATIS is broadcasting (speaking) it changes fine and stops. In turn, you have to switch back to ATIS, wait for it to start broadcasting and then make your change again to make it stop.

Hi, hoping for features to help my (and potentially others) workflow... Obviously, as most do, I use Simbrief and when using INS navigation it is perfect for inputting the coordinates as it uses the same format as the INS requires, so: Q1: Would it be possible to have an option to change the coordinates format in the INFO box? I usually use P2ATC to pick the best waypoints to use when inputting, but keep having to go back to Simbrief OFP to get the coordinates. Q2: I have always used the "ATC assign SID STAR etc, as I assumed this would be more realistic?" Hi, I am using Navigraph cycle 2203 and SIDs for EDDR Saarbrucken airport do not match between P2A and MSFS2020/Navigraph Charts. Does anyone have an idea, why there is such a mismatch? Is it possible with P2A to get taxi instructions based on real world charts?

Hello, I reinstalled and followed all guidelines and when I will start it is okay. When I file a flighplan and set sid and stars and app all is well. When I then push connect (yes airplane is powered) nothing happend???? I would like to have some guidance of what to do I have installed speech as mentioned and have bought additional voices. I am having some issues with the random voices. My Ivona and Amazon voices are being randomly assigned and working on all frequencies except center. As soon center is the frequency, P2ATC switches to the default voice and shows a loading error in the log. If I directly test the voice, it always works. As soon as you move from center to approach, for example, the voices work again. Seeing as this only happens on center and the voices work everywhere else and with the test function, this seems to be some kind of issue with P2ATC? If there was an issue with my system, it must have loading problems everywhere, not always only on center. Any ideas? I am on the late…

What is the best way to install a beta release in parallel to the stable release version, while making the licensing and the navdata(base) work? Should I just copy the publicbeta executable of the download into the same pilot2atc folder, or should I create a separate folder of some kind?

The SID loads but often times the STAR does not, and only the approach loads from the flightplan. This is fine, and I dont think its a problem. After reading the docs, these questions remain: If it's blank at takeoff, will P2A assign me an appoach at some point during the flight...or do I have to manually add a STAR? Dave (or anyone else), can you comment on whether an enhancement can be added to P2A to send the correct speed parameter for those of us who are using Polly? Here is the documentation on Polly's speed parameter. Right now, the 0-10 Speed setting in Config-->Voices has no effect for Polly voices, I assume this is because it is not making a request that includes the '<prosody rate=...' parameter that Polly accepts. Is this possible to implement in P2A?

I have used dat from MakeRwys but i have erratic taxi instructions in some airports Here at LFMN, my runway departure is Rw4R , and here a pic of taxi instructions , i think they are not really good can anyone tell me how to fix it, the makerwys didn't fix it
