Hello Folks. Does the product allow for 100% button (preset phrases) to communications to ATC? I do not use or ever used a mic with my Sims. I really can't seem to get a 100% confirmation from the tons of videos out there since everyone always use and focus on a mic in their videos. Everyone always seems to focus and concentrate on "phraseology," training the speech recognition which doesn't apply to me. I also read somewhere in the set up (and in a video) that a mic has to be connected to your PC in order for the set up to be successful. So, little confusing to me since a mic is required for initial installation but may not be required to be utilized since butt…

I've noticed this for a while and so I thought to ask. It might not be a bug, but, would like to know if this is normal. I'm happily flying along and the approach controller will clear me for the approach. After a few minutes, the approach controller will issue me vectors to the ILS and then another clearance to approach. Thanks Scott

Goodday all, I'm thinking of trying/purchase Pilot2ATC but there is one thing I'm a little confused about and so I hope someone can help me out.... In the manual is written that I need to install the English language pack. Is this mean that I have to change my native language of my whole Windows 10 on my PC to English or do I have only add these language package outside my basic native language so that my native Windows 10 stays as it is Thanks for clarifying and have a nice day kind regards,

Goodday all, I'm interested to have a look at Pilot2ATC but concerning the languagepacks it is not all clear for me. According to the install instructions I have to install the US/English languagepack on my system. Is this meaning that I have to change my native language for the whole Windows 10 software or is it to install as a addition..... Because I do not like it to change my basic/native language in Windows 10 due to other needs on my PC Thanks for clarifying and have a nice day.......

Route:EFHK NUNTO Y369 REKDO DCT DEMIR N872 LILSI Z310 WOODY EBBR P2ATC did ignore all my SID settings for RW and SID (Force is ticked) and assigned me a complete different SID which is not in my flight plan. (VALO3F via VALOX) Looks like P2A isn't aware of RW 22R Since the last update (not beta) I didn't get proper SID (AIRAC is current) and mostly the RW didn't match the weather. (NOAA live weather set.) Sim is MSFS Any ideas?

As the title says, I have been trying to contact Control after departing an uncontrolled airport but I get no response. I was wondering if I am missing something. I would prefer to not file a flight plan as sometimes I would just like to do some sightseeing and then contact the nearest tower to land. Any help in the correct procedure greatly appreciated. OK so I am curious about flying a NON-Turbojet (DC-6 for example). Most STARS and SIDS require or have a stipulation that to AC must be turbo jet. Not to mention the altitude restrictions would often be to high for many non-turbojet AC to be able comply with. Does P2ATC have anyway to distinguish between AC types? If not what should the settings look like as far as ATC options page (un-check ATC assigns SID STAR etc.) when flying a non-turbo AC? If no SID//STAR is assigned will ATC assign vectors for departure and arrivals? If used will these vectors be checked for terrain avoidance? Thanks DAVE!

Hey, I just installed Pilot2ATC to my new computer. I have been trying to fly from EDDF to LSZH and copied the Waypoints out of my Simbrief plan, yet when trying to set a cruising altitude it won't set it correctly. For example: I set flight level to FL220, and the ATC just randomly set it to FL070. Regardless of what I set (Even tried FL22000 or FL1800000, also tried FL070 which set it to FL021) it will always set the Flight Level to something like FL046, FL0670. I have my flight set to IFR and checked the config settings too, but can't seem to find a setting that would change that. I tried re-installing the whole ATC which didn't help at all, which leaves me thinking t…

Hi, I have very low loudness of the voices P2ATC. I use the app ear trompet to set different loudness of the Flightsim apps (PACX,RealiticPro).I have to reduce the loudness from FS and other apps to 60% and P2ATC to 100%. Only with with settings I can understood P2ATC. But this is of course not the best way. And yes, all voice settings in P2ATC are at 100%. I think it happens with the last update 2.6.31 of P2ATC. Hi I am quite familiar now with Pilot2atc and it's working very well for IFR flights. I am starting now to try VFR flights, which surprisingly can be more challenging in terms of planning and ATC. I got some questions that I could not answer after reading the documentation and watching several videos and tutorials. First, I have to say that I mostly use the SayIt + feature, as English is not my mother tongue, and sometimes I get very funny results. - Assuming I am flying VFR, no flight plan and no flight following, and I will cross a Bravo airspace. Which frequency should I contact in order to get the transit approved? TWR, approach? Sometimes, in big air…

Hi guys, just wondering if it is possible to use keyboard hotkeys to issue commands in P2ATC. I mean just basic commands, eg ready to copy VFR clearance, ready for departure etc. I don"t always like to talk to my computer as I share the room with the rest of my family. I know you can use speech assistant but to be honest, I find it very clunky and too many mouse clicks. I tried setting up Voiceattack but P2ATC did not appear to register the voice. Hello - I am currently in the trial and wanting to understand what I'm doing wrong. I have flown LSZH-LSZS. It's a relatively short flight, but I have followed the instructions to taxi, takeoff and enroute altitudes/vectors. There is no STAR at LSZS (so I don't know how the program delivers clearances to the STAR), but I never get clearance to follow the arrival RNAV approach. This is despite inputting the SID, arrival runway and approach into the flight plan before filing it. I flew the approach down by looking at charts and I see the P2ATC window showing the correct Flight Plan altitudes, but I never get instructions to descend or begin the approac…

I have a few questions around how flight-planning is typically done in real world scenarios, specifically: 1) Pilot2atc allows the user to choose whether atc assigns SIDs/Stars, or the user can include their own selections as part of their flight plan. Does this "either/or" occur in the real world as well? Or is there a requirement that the pilot include their SID/STAR in every flight plan, or conversely, that atc must assign those? If either/or, what would be typical reasons for a pilot designating their own vs. allowing atc to assign? If the pilot does/can include their own STAR in their flight plan based on expected winds and runways at the destination air…

Is it normal for P2A to use so much RAM (2.4GB) without being even connected to the flight sim or doing anything?

With so many extra programs to load and things to do before starting a flight, a one click SimBrief import would be wonderful and one less thing to do. For example, Volanta, PACX, Hotstart CL65, INI builds, and many others have integrated SimBrief in their App/Airplanes. With simply adding your SimBrief ID, a single click on the button is enough to retrieve the latest flight plan. If this could be added in the future, that would be awesome. Keep up the good work on the program, couldn't fly without it!

One of the problems that I'm having is that my wireless headset will not re-connect if it's been disconnected. I've tried going into config and changing my sound output to desktop speakers and they work fine but when I go back to wireless headset it does not reconnect my mic and although I can hear ATC it doesn't hear me. Nor do I get any tones in my headset such as frequency changes. Sometimes I leave the room for a brief moment and my bluetooth will disconnect and then reconnect but P2A does not. Other times, like on long flights I want to turn off the headset to conserve battery life. The only way I can get things working again is to close P2A and re-start. I…

I have had this several times now that I am given a squawk code by clearance and all is fine until I get to the runway where by atc then advises to change squawk code to 7000. Why is this . Am I doing something rong?

Hi, I'm trying to create a flight from FSDR to FSIA but P2A doesn't let me insert FSIA after FSDR. If I try from FSIA to FSDR I have no problem. Why is this? Thanks. Edit: It works if I find the airport on the map and then right click it and choose it as destination. But it doesn't work when pressing the Add Wpt button.
