Hello, After installing the last beta after like 15 minutes the sounds get tottaly distorted like weird metallic sound. It does not matter wich device I use headset or speakers. No other software has sound problems.....

Under Copilot Options, is it possible to check the "Responds to Radio" box and uncheck "Changes Frequencies"? I'm on v2.6.3.2_x64_Public_Beta_8A, and if I check Responds to Radio it automatically checks Changes Frequencies. If I uncheck change freq it unchecks responds to radio. I like the readback to be automatic but like to change frequencies myself. Many thanks.

XPUIPC is becoming more of a problem as time goes on. Is there a plan to move to another method of connectivity?

Complete Pilot2ATC rookie here and wondering if you can give me some pointers. I have done a couple of IFR flights now and whereas everything seems to be working fine P2A cannot seem to see the sim weather eg for departure EGHI and arrival EGTC it was reporting weather not available. For the departure it gave me the wrong runway direction for the winds in sim and on getting landing clearance it reported winds calm whereas in reality it was 10-12kts with a bit of a crosswind component. I have set the weather to SIM Weather. Any pointers would be much appreciated!

Hi I just tried the public beta - flying a route out if KO86 to KBVS in TBM 900. I got onto the center frequency after takeoff, but after multiple attempts to get clearance (using both voice and saying) I had to give up.. Could I have missed something?

The PILOT2ATC default 1801 airac cycle does not have valid navdata for my local low-ifr flying (and is un-matchable with the MSFS 2020 Nav-data) I have a navigraph subscription but the navigraph FMS manager does not show PILOT2ATC as an addon that can be updated to the current cycle. Is there another way to update airac cycle in PILOT2ATC ? (I have a registered PILOT2ATC licence). Thankyou in advance. Tony,

Hi there! I was flying PHTO to PHOG and I think I should have been handed over to Honolulu Center after departure. However I was handed over to SF Center. It seems MSFS2000 and Pilot2ATC are out of sinc here. I use navigraph and both MSFS and Pilot2ATC have the last cicle installed. I have tried to follow the manual but I cannot find the bvcf.bgl nor an updated version of bgl2xml. As the manual refers to P3D and FSX I am unsure it applies to MSFS2000. Can anyone help? Hi Dave, Enjoying Pilot2ATC immensely. The updates are great. I have a full B737 cockpit in my shed, with the main PC audio output driving two large stereo speakers behind the walls, behind me, for engines, environment etc. My main PC 'headphone' output drives two small speakers above the pilots and their headsets. In P3d, I am able to direct the 'ATC audio' to those overhead speakers by a dropdown selection in P3d Options>Sound. I can also do this with GSX2 for ground crew and loading sounds (plus in Prosim737, and SimSounds for Flt attendant calls) Would it be possible to have this in Pilot2ATC? Yesterday on my flight to EDDC I received the following call (issued by the center controller): LUFTHANSA One Zero One Five Descend to cross DRESDEN at Flight Level Zero Five Zero then Descend via the DRN transition for the ILS approach to runway Two Two to cross CF22 at or above Three Thousand feet QNH is One Zero One Two at DRESDEN I then received no further instructions until 5nm from the runway (change to tower, cleared to land). There was no clearance for approach. Later I checked the log-file and saw, that I missed the first part of the instruction "Descend to cross DRESDEN at Flight Level Zero Five Zero" - I was most likely not at that altitude …

I am currently in the 10 day testing phase of P2A and am trying to try out as much as possible during that time. I noticed that the following flight plan from Simbrief (either via pilot id or via copy&paste): EDDC BEBE7W BEBEX Q230 TADUV T178 KERAX KERA3A EDDF is "misinterpreted" during import. Normally there are a lot of waypoints along T178 between TADUV and KERAX. However, P2A throws away everything between TADUV and KERAX during import and puts only the TOD there (TADUV > direct > TOD > direct KERAX). Hi Dave, ATC Chatter stopped working (v.2.6.3.1) and I have no idea why. It happened shortly after the update to 2.6.3.1, but I think it was working at first for a short time. Checked volumes (STBY, Config and Windows), also tried to use single files in a test folder and checked "Unblock" in properties as described in the manual. (if that would solve the problem I have no idea how i should do that with almost 30.000 files...) PIlot2ATC is connected to X-Plane 12, but I also tested with X-Plane 11. Tried to add screenshots but did not find an option to do that. Thanks for any help!

Hi Im currently testing the Beta 7B an run into an issue with vectoring. My flight plan is ENVA/09-KVB-VIG-ENAL/24. No approach set. The VOR VIG near the airport is situated just on the other side of the airport in the relation to my flight plan. I get a message to Expect vectors to the ILS approach rwy 24 and then nothing happens until I'm well past the start of the approach, near VOR VIG. Then I'm vectored all the way back to the approach start. (That I just passed...) In Beta 6 I got vectors to ILS Approach rwy 24 long before the VOR VIG, without actually have to fly to VOR VIG before vectoring starts. I think that behavior make more sense. Regards …

I have filed my flight plan FL380 all is ok. I take off Cleared to FL100, then FL190. Ok all ok. I get FL190 and am told to climb to FL220, then on to FL380. Between FL220 and FL380 the controller is now bleating away, Descent to FL190. I might of done something wrong I have set my Baro to STD everything seems correct. This has happened a few times now and it is getting really annoying, According the plan in P2ATC I have not busted any ALT restrictions.. No matter what I request or do the controller will not shut up about me descending to FL190. Please, please just put something in the app that shuts them up and stops this and just clears you to…

It the recent beta update mentions that SimWx works now even for Xplane 12 but where is that located within Xplane12? To what folder should i put in in the options menu?

Hi all. Does anyone have any idea how to successfully export an .rte flight plan for use in the PMDG 737-800 (MSFS)? When I create a flight plan (validated in P2ATC) and export it for use in the FMC, I only get WPT1 and WPT2 exported when importing via the FMC. The rest of the plan is missing. Is there any way to have the complete plan exported and utilised by the FMC in the 737-800 or do I need to program the FMC independently? It sure would be extremely handy if I could export/import the entire plan. Any help very much appreciated.

Hi all just looking for a little guidance last couple of flights i have done following the atc instructions to descend i all ways over shoot the glide profile for the ils if i start to descend earlier i get instructed to clime at the minuet i have the clime rate set to 4000 FPM Cruse Alt 32000 Plan GS 440 and descent Rate 2000 FPM would they roughly be correct for the 737-700 and what would be good setting for a GA plane like the Piper arrow 3 or the Cessna 414

After landing I let ground assign me to a gate. but most of the time it gives me a gate which is already in use. P2ATC can see traffic but not control them. But can it see planes at the gate? Am i doing something wrong? I know I can choose a gate before and ground assigns me to it but I want ground to choose it. thank you

I just updated to FSUIPC 7.3.8 and when I tried to connect to P2A - I clicked Connect and got a beep. So I clicked Connect again and got the message "FSUIPC disconnected". Each subsequent click got the same message. I'm not looking at the error now so the message might have been slightly different, but the essence remains. I can't connect P2A to MSFS.... Am I the only one getting this problem? I have used FSUIPC for years now. I see the Dowson's are on vacation so there is no fix from them this week. Does anyone have a link to 7.3.7?

Hello guys, i'v got problems with pilot2atc. licence. I bought the licence for xplane 11 but last week i bought xplane 12 and try to run pilot2atc in xplane 12. Message popt up that the licence is not for this version of xplane. Anyone idea how to change that so i can use pilot2atc on both versions of xplane? Thanks in advanced Peter

Hello all, For some reason the copilot has stopped answering ATC. It use to be where I would request "ready to copy" (for example), atc would give me the IFR instruction and then the copilot would automatically read back. Now I have to press "say it" for the copilot to respond. Not sure what happened???? TIA. Terry EDIT: It appears to be working correctly again.

I use pilot2atc in VR mode - by bring it into the cockpit using moveVR. Predominant use is to help validate ATC instructions. I do not have much use for the flight path window and would much rather the ATC window filled the page. Is it possible to 'remove' the flight path window so i can materially increase the size of the ATC window? Also, is it possible to change the font size?

Hi P2A team and forum members! I have an issue where ATC don't assigned STARs while i have ATC Assigns STARs option check. I've done several flights to test it. Before TOD ATC will tell to "expect" approach (example : with my flight it told me to expect vector to the ils runways 01R wihout STARs). I was setup my FPL page with only SIDs. The STARs are not selected and the approach is not the active arrival runway (01R were selected) at that moment runway 19L is the right one while i saw it on info page (due to test if P2A will select the right one for me or not) So the question is 1. do i have to select all SIDs,STARs and approach like normal on FPL page before i file the …

I have a new PC since I last used P2A. The old PC and drive no longer exist. When I attempt to register P2A I get the message that it is already registered on another machine. How do I get past this?

Hey guys, i am having a strange issue with the latest public beta (2.6.3.2 Public Beta 6 07/18/2022) and simbrief import. What i do: 1) create a simbrief flightplan 2) Open up and connect P2ATC 3) Import simbrief (works well) 4) hit validate and file plan All good so far... When asking for clearance, ATC is then sometimes assigning me a SID which is actually not availalbe for this particular runway. It seems like the SID is valid for the simbrief runway but not avaialble for the ATC-selected runway. Seems like ATC is changing the runway to another one but not applying this for the SID selection (still selecting from the previous simbrief…
