Dave....I'm hoping you can give me some insight here. Or anyone really. I've been an avid Pilot2Atc user for many years. Love it. Thank you so much for all the hard work. Always been an X Plane 11 user and used the Command2Key and Python to bind the PTT to a VR controller button. I recently moved over to MSFS 2020 and I just cant find a solution. Command2Key doesn't seem to work on MSFS. Anything out there that can help bind the PTT to a VR controller button? Thanks in advance. 🙂

Tried using the beta release and had an immediate issue with X-Plane 12, Cessna 172SP, Garmin 530. It won't let me switch from COM/MIC1 to COM/MIC2. It just flips it back to COM/MIC1. It also auto sets the frequency on the 530 even though I believe I have this disabled. Where is the setting(s) that control how p2atc interacts with the comms/530?

X-plane 12b14, P2ATC 2.6.3.2_x64 PublicBeta_8s5 Windows 11 I can connect and make 1 or 2 contacts with ATC, then nothing. ATC chatter will continue, but I cannot get a controller response. I can shut down P2ATC, restart, and it's the same thing all over again. If I open the interface, the PTT button on the panel turns green when I press my assigned PTT button on my alpha yoke, but I can not get a response. Have verified freqs are correct, even tried multiple freqs, same thing. Once it quits, it's done. Any ideas??

I am just getting acquainted with the demo and I am not sure which keyboard press is used to bring back the p2a window when it disappears in the sim's full window mode. P2A "on top" option seems to work,but only erratically. I am not using voice, so I need the window up and visible at all times. I am sure I've missed it in the manual, but going in and out of full window mode does not appear to be the ideal way. thanks.

I was wondering if the Pilot2ATC software is dead? I installed the software again and it still had my license, but when I tried to 'validate' the license, it returned a "license Activation Failed: InvalidLicenseKey" I redid my computer and as a consequence, lost the email that had my license validation. I am on XP11 11.55, P2atc beta 2.6.3.2 8S9. I have noticed this over the last few updates that I specifically call up Ready for takeoff when there is an AI aircraft at about 500ft. P2atc issues takeoff clearance and warns for turbulence. I am using Live Traffic for AI traffic. The P2atc map clearly identifies traffic ok and well as the Map on XP. I recall on previous versions you were instructed to hold. I have a screen image of above and can supply the log file, but I have no idea how to attach them. This happen on XP12 also. Hi Dave, I hope you are okay. I am contacting you because I have tried to perform a flight on MSFS 2020 today between RJCC and RJAA. Unfortunately, when I tried to request the clearance from ATC, I receive a message saying that it appears that my flightplan does not originate from this airport but it definitely does. I am not sure if this is a bug from Pilot2atc which does not recognise the airport as being in the database? Kind regards Martial

I have created a p2ATC flight plan that I like and then I typed those waypoints into Simbrief and that worked just fine....saved it and started MSF2020 and downloaded that Flight plan into my aircraft so everything matched perfectly. My question....after creating a flight plan in p2ATC can p2ATC show the entire flightplan (waypoints) so I can just copy and paste into simbrief instead of typing all those manually?

Having trouble with handoff between Radar controller and Centre controller. Flying out of EGGD, Radar (Cardiff I think) hands off to Manchester Centre 118.77, repeated attempts to check in on correct frequency (co-pilot tuned) are responded to by Radar controller telling me to switch to centre. As if new frequency not picked up. Any ideas?

Hello, whenever multiple approaches are available, often the ATC doesn't say which to fly. For example, I was assigned an RNAV approach to a runway, but on the FMC and Navigraph there are 4 approaches to that runway (RNAV E, RNAV Y, ...) ! Looking at the waypoint in Pilot2ATC didn't help either as an ILS approach was actually listed when I checked (not updated to the new approach?). i have imported a flightplan from simbrief, but when i ask for clearance atc told me that "IBERIA One Niner Six Seven your flight plan seems to be out of date. Please file a new one and call back for clearance." any fix? thanks

X plane 12 moved the real weather output to a new location .../Output/real weather and in the last couple of days updated the schedule for this output to twice per hour and changed the name of the metar data file. This broke any program including P2A that needs to read the METAR.rwx data. There is a package at the link below that will copy the new metar data to the root of X-Plane 12 as METAR.rwx enabling access for all versions of P2A or any other program. Dave has of course provided a new beta release that is compatible with latest changes but not everyone wants to run beta. Hi Dave, I discovered a bug in beta 8R4 regarding TOD calculation: Entered a flight plan for a Beechcraft King Air from KBNA to KPDK. Cruise entered at FL 190, Climb Rate 2200 FPM, Descent 1500 FPM, Plan GS of 320. I selected arrival runway of 3R and when loading the RNAV approach with DLUTH transition (no SID/STAR), I'm getting the error message "Unable to calculate TOD. Change the cruise altitude, plan GS and/or Descent Rate." The arrival and departure airports are far enough away from eachother that my flight parameters should be just fine in calculating the TOD. If I enter just the departure/arrival airports without specifying an RNAV approach, it seems…

Hi I am using the latest beta (8R4) on Windows 10 (or 11) and am having an intermittent problem with a slow and unresponsive interface which seems to happen when I select Center on Aircraft. Once I click on Center on Aircraft, the map continues to move and I continue to receive ATC message, but the rest of the interface seems to freeze and become very slow to respond. It can take several minutes to respond to a click on any of the buttons. I am currently running Pilot2ATC on a remote machine to my sim machine, however it doesn't seem to matter whether I run it remotely or not, the problem occurs either way. As the title says, the controllers are not advising to descend. Furthermore the approach advise is coming to early (sometimes before TOD).

I need a bit of help here. I create my flight plans in SimBrief and import them directly in Pilot2atc. I have "ATC assign SID", "ATC assign STAR" and "ATC assign approach" all enabled. The assigment works nicely. The problem is, that when I reach the end of the STAR, I get a rw heading directly to the rw - not to the beginning of the approach. As I understand other posts, I can use: <CallSign> inbound at <CurrentAltitude> request Radar Vectors for ILS to <runway>....
