Hi, I am missing wind information (direction and speed) when I get confirmation for takeoff and I am not able to respond to approach controller when established on Final (e.g. xyz established on final for ILS approach to runway xy) and not getting clearance for landing.I am using the latest the beta version. Hi Dave, I flew a flight plan from KBNA to KSAT at FL 260, no SIDS/STARS, with the program set determine the approach. When I got close to the TOD marker, I was told to expect vectors to runway 4. So far so good. However, I never received any initial descent instructions. By the time I was given vectors to the ILS, I was told to descend to 6,000 feet. However, the approach button illustration showed that by the time I was expected to turn via my first vector, I was expected to be approximately 12,000 lower than I was. Put another way, I was never instructed to descend from 26000 feet down to 14,000 feet, such that when I received my vectors, I could then step down t…

Hi, I just tried the demo, and the speech recognition works fine, but there is no text in the speech window, also no 3 lines of text at startup, grammar help is checked in config page. power button is green, PTT is green, but say it is white Al the settings are per the manual, what am I missing?

Hello Would it be possible to have an option to disable voice recognition, so as not to have to install the English language pack, and to have a headset and microphone. And to use only the "say it" button. Thank you for your software Sincerely

Hello Dave, Please see attached log file. I was instructed to cross the waypoint BEGOD at or above 4400 feet. According to the Navdata (AIRAC 2213), the crossing restriction says at or above 2500 feet. I have the latest navigraph data in Pilot2ATC. My version of the program 2.6.4.1. This made for a very steep approach. It also seems that P2A assigned a runway with almost 10 knots tailwind.. The only thing I can think of is that I accidentally installed the version with NavdataPro navdata before I updated it with version 2.6.4.1? Could that have screwed up the navdata i some way? When I first tried the program (latest version) I would see the ATC text and pilot (or copilot) text. I have since reinstalled P2A for troubleshooting purposes. No joy. Is there something in the P2A config not set right? I've looked and nothing glaring pops up. GJR

I recently updated the default DB with the new AIRAC cycle. I am planning an IFR flight from KLAS to KLAX. I enter the origin and destination via the add waypoint function then click on auto plan. The program then presents a flight plan using the default (original) AIRAC DB from 2018 which of course is no longer accurate. Is this a known bug? Any future plans to recode this function? I intend to use the SIM brief flight plan import function in the meantime but obviously prefer the auto generate flight plan working properly. Thanks in advance.

Please Dave I need your help. Since today your fantastic program does not work for me, I have uninstalled it from scratch, reinstalled it, loaded the airacs again, but the same thing always appears. My English is not good and I can't understand what is happening to me now. Hey Guys, I noticed that my co-pilot options were enabled, after co-pilot changed my frequency and replied to ATC. I have since disabled those checkboxes, but the co-pilot didn't take the hint and stop.. It is still happening. Any suggestions? Heppy

Hi everybody and forum members! I have an issue where ATC doesn't assigns STARs while i have ATC Assigns STARs option check. I've done several flights to test it. Before TOD ATC will tell to "expect" approach wihout STARs. I`ve unchecked all the ''Force the runway'' options in the star or approach window (and in the main config window too). I`ve tried both with the ''Force STAR'' option in the main config window checked or unchecked. Which setup on FLT PLN configuration is recommend for me if i want ATC to tell me to expect the STARs and the approach with active runway. Thanks in advance.

Hi Dave, I hadn't been using P2A for quite a while. Now I've tried the latest beta with several radar vectors to ILS. And I'm really excited !!! Say the display of the radar vectored route on the moving map is new? Anyway I love it as like the whole program !!! But I think the turns on to final could be a bit wider because you have to decelerate early in order not to overshoot the final track. But it's not a big thing. But there is one issue. The clearance to descend to the altitude for the GS intercept is given far too late for the distance remaining to the GS intercept point. On a departure with no SID, why does ATC try to vector you to intercept the course line from the airport to the first waypoint and not vector you direct to the first waypoint, then as filed? From what I can tell in the real world it seems you would get vectors directly to the first waypoint, not back to the course line between the airport and the first waypoint. Here is my specific example: The flight today was KBUF to KJFK. When I turn to the heading assigned by the tower (080), but cut the turn off when I was lined up with the first waypoint and flew directly toward the first waypoint (~100), I was told I was off course and got several vectors directing at a…

I am not sure if this has been discussed before, however, there is a large number of variables that one can set on the ATC Settings tab. This includes many things but one is conspicoulsly absent - user variation limits on 'speed' control. It does get tiring a bit to hear that you are over speed like 250 knots when you are at maybe 251 knots. I come across this a lot in the PMDG and Fenix products that have this limit built in.

Hi, I recently bought the Razer Blackshark Pro headset which probably has the world's worst microphone, but that's another topic. The problem is that P2ATC doesn't hear me, despite the microphone working in all other apps like Teams, games etc. If I setup a stand-alone mic in Windows, this one works ok, but not the Blackshark one. Am I missing something in P2ATC? When I depart an airport without flying a SID, assuming I am not following an airway, P2A calculates a course for me to follow that appears to run from the airport to the first waypoint without considering that after departure and following ATC heading instructions, by the time I am expected to assume my own navigation, I am no longer on that calculated course, but could be a fairly considerable distance off it. My internal navigation then heads me direct to that first waypoint, not to P2A’s courseline, but ATC tells me that I am off course. That is the first issue. Then P2A says ,”You are off course. I'm on 2.6.4.1. I had assigned my PTT and Say It Joystick buttons on my Honeycomb Alpha with a previous version and they worked fine. Today I deleted my PTT and Say It Joystick button assignments and then tried to reassign them. But now I dont have a dropdown to select my joystick, it just says "PTT Joystick." And if I try to assign a button to my joystick by pressing "Set" nothing happens and I cant assign anything. I tried reinstalling 2.6.4.1 and unplugging and re-plugging in my joystick, but that didn't help. Anybody have any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks.

@Dave-Pilot2ATC, I did a quick search for this subject but did not see anything if Pilot2ATC will be supporting X-Plane 12. I only fly in VR currently in X-Plane 11.55r2 and use Pilot2ATC on every flight so very interested in the answer. If you need a tester I am very willing to help with also. Thanks Bill

Hi All, I want to make sure I'm properly understanding the procedure to add new 3rd party scenery gates and taxiways to P2ATC - please let me know if I'm doing something incorrect. 1) Buy the scenery through the third party directly - not through the MSFS in-game store - so that the scenery data is not encrypted. 2) Delete the default scenery through the content manager for the scenery purchased, if there is a dedicated Asobo/Microsoft airport (i.e. something that was added in one of the deluxe additions). 3) Run makerwys again. 4) Go to the taxiway and gate maintenance part of the app and then import information specifically just for the new airp…

Hi, I started the trial of Pilot2ATC. I like it so far but unfortunately the assigning of buttons is not working here. In the menu it does 'say' it linked PTT to a certain button on keyboard or joystick, but it actually is not working. I still have to alt tab to pilot2atc to be able to use PTT over there, which is obviously not workable when on final 🙂. Can anyone point on a possible solution? Thanks. Further i use FSUIPC 7 beta. I hooked up a VR to try in MSFS along with having P2ATC open. Of course the VR became the headphones and mic. The problem is now I cannot use a regular mic with P2ATC outside of VR; it cannot hear it. The computer is hearing the mic (as indicated in mic setup) and other programs can hear the mic, but not P2ATC. I've tried re-installing and same issue. Everything indicates the mic is working except P2ATC. I couldn't find an option in the config that allows you to choose which mic source you use... I'm hoping I've just missed it. If not, I'm out of ideas. Thoughts/suggestions?
