Recently gave up on windows 11 and reinstalled 10. After reinstalling P2ATC (using latest beta) I get a very long database error popup upon launch. "Unable to initialize database....." Any ideas/suggestions?

After migration to Win 10 two weeks ago, I cannot see my audio device in "Speech Output Device" and all "Voices" fields are empty. I have seen all of it shortly last weekend after I reinstalled ("repair") Cereproc, now I've lost them again. I checked sapi.cpl, TTS, Speech-to-text, Windows Default Device and Default Communication Device, they all seem ok to me. Cant seem to find LTFM under pilot2atc taxi manager? atatürk still exists tho? doing something wrong or is this changed in an upcoming update?

Interesting development in how MS voices are handling numbers now. example "SOUTHWEST 59 (fifty nine)" OR SOUTWEST FIVE NINER:" is used within the same conversation. Is there a standerd to be held to?

Just curious where P2A gets it's taxi instructions / information from? I find from time to time that the Taxi instructions either don't make sense, or are completely wrong (meaning the taxiway doesn't exist at that airport). Is there something I am missing in regards to updating, etc...? Thanks.

When attempting to tune the radio the dialog box 'shows' when I minimize the screen but is not responsive if selected. The NAV works fine...? any clues? thx

Hello Folks, I use Beta 2n which seems good in X-Plane 11.55, Vulkan, WMR-VR. Just one small glitch noticed and that is - if I change the departure runway owing to wind direction (e.g.at EHAM with numerous rwys) then in Beta 2n the change is not recognized and the tower will not give take off clearance from the changed runway and instead sticks to the original allocated departure rwy. Hello, I have just had to reinstall windows 11 due to a boot error and I now get a database error on starting P2ATC. I have tried to install navigraph data using their FMS data manager but cannot remember where to point the files. Anyone can help?

Hi, I´m using Pilot2ATC since 1 and a half year. But now I have problems: Sometimes I have to start Pilot2ATC many times until it works - the Log appears with several messages and that it is impossible to check my valid registration - but after 3 until 4 times it works I can´t save nothing in the Config. No Callsign under P2a Setup, the ATC Settings are blank, Voices are blank an aren´t possible to select, unter Flt Plan all is blank and so on so on Random ATC works fine and the "Say it" Button too. But I can her only "my Voice". The answers are only in Textform. Using Win 11 and the latest Public Beta2n. What is the possibility of a solu…

Hi, I have tried to update the Navigraph data using the Navigraph FMS Data Manager, but P2A still says the cycle is 1801 and I receive errors from X-Plane that the navdata from P2A is out of date. I have tried updating using both the "default location" in FMS Data Manager, and also by pointing it to the C:\Pilot2ATC_2020_x64\Data\Navigraph folder. Both have been unsuccessful in updating the navdata. Please advise the proper location or how to otherwise properly update my Navigraph data.

I'm not sure if P2A does this in other sims, but currently P2A ignores taxiing aircraft on the ground. I am using AIG Traffic, and I get warnings once I am in the air, but P2A instantly gives me takeoff clearance even if traffic is on the runway, and never warns me to hold short on busy taxiways either. Would be awesome if this was implemented for MSFS users. Thanks for reading dave!

Hello I have put a new SSD in my machine to replace an ageing hard drive and since then Pilot2ATC is telling me that it is already licensed on another machine. It is very unexpected because the software was not installed on that drive. I never fly without the software and I'd like to be able to use it again. Can you help please? Many Thanks

Hello, some airports have procedures like RNAV 30 X, RNAV 30 Y, RNAV 30 Z. The ATC only gives me RNAV 30, how do I know which one it is? Thanks.

Hi, I am considering buying Pilot2ATC to use with X-Plane, but I am unable to evaluate it because my trial is expired. I had installed it to try when I was using P3Dv4, but as I did not have a working microphone, I never actually tried it and moved on to another ATC solution. I would like to evaluate it now to see if I want to buy it, but I cannot. Is it possible to reset the trial so that I can do this?

FSUIPC7 keeps shutting down mid-flight. Not only once but several times. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

Noted this in the Beta 2N release notes, and it raised some questions I've been struggling with: What is the appropriate/best way to request a change of arrival runway, and when? For example, when P2ATC & Traffic Global disagree, and I want to align to TG so I'm not running nose-first into outbound traffic. After the "Expect..." call, or when I'm handed off to approach? And what would be the appropriate phrasing? I've tried a few different variations with mixed success, but more often than not I end up with either a confused routing, or never hearing from ATC again, regardless of any further callouts from me. Hi I am finding that I am being given clearances to higher altitudes in the SIDs than is allowed according to the charts. I have got the "ignore altitude restrictions" box unchecked. Am I doing something wrong? I am on Beta m and everything else working well for me. Thanks

Noticed today using 2.6.3.0 beta that ATC improperly "trusts" the aircraft altitude in MSFS even when it is wrong. I had missed pulling the STD knob on climb and was about 300ft lower than my assigned altitude. I did not receive a correction from ATC until I pulled STD Baro. Would it be possible to implement that when Ind Alt MSL is >FL180 P2A assumes youre STD? Ideally this would be able to be automated to use the actual transition level for the airspace, but I'm not sure navigraph data stores that information and whether importing my Navigraph data offers that datapoint to P2A? Either way, FL180 would be a safe "hardcoded" option.

Hi Dave, since a few days, I am getting an error that the sim connection failed to open. It further says that it cannot find FSUIPC running on this machine eventhough it is installed (actually I am running version 7.216). I tried to run P2A (Beta m) with the latest FSUIPC version 7.31 but things did not solve. I never had this before. Do you have any idea how to solve this. Thank you. Regards Roland

Request for a new option for Pilot2ATC. Can we have an option to disable the use of the voice recognition or at least allow the program to connect to the simulator without a microphone? Currently the program when it tries to connect the simulator, it will show a message if no microphone is detected and then not connect. However if a microphone is detected, then of course it connects but the program can be run fine without actually using it. Instead we can use the "SayIt Speech Assistant" to do the same thing as normally would be done with our voice. And with the "Favorite" feature in the beta version of Speech Assistance, it makes the use of that feature so muc…

I've got the SayIt button assigned to either home/end on my keyboard as I mostly only use the sayit function (glad it's implemented that well!!). Every time I start up my P2A I need to reassign it to the other. (Home > End or End > Home) as it doesn't work any more.
