I have IFR plans loaded in and each time pilot2atc has me cut off my flight plan to b line straight to the airport. it also wants me to be at 5000ft 100nm's before the airport. Am I doing something wrong?

For some reason, I cannot talk to ATC because the check box FO handles ATC in the config keeps checking the option on even if I turn it off. I turn it off, close the program and it comes back on after ATC issues a command. Not sure why it started to do this, is there a configuration file I can set to read only. I cannot see anywhere why it would be doing this.

I have made two flights LIRF/LFKJ and LFKC/LFML and in both I have had the same problem. Everything works correctly until the departure control transfers me to CTR, from that moment on even though the frequency appears as assigned it is impossible to maintain contact with these dependencies What may be going on?

Good morning folks, I've noticed in the last few updates (can't recall exactly when) but the vectors seem to happen quite early. Has anyone else noticed this or perhaps I am doing something incorrectly? Another person I fly with had the same as well. 400NM out from KDEN and then had him descend to 10,000 and start vectoring. Thoughts?

It seems on every start up of the latest version (Public Beta 2e) it is not recognizing my Headphones. I have to go into "config" under 'SPEECH" and choose the Headphones every time. I am thinking it may be a bug. Other than that I am really enjoying your product. Also off topic, while we're here, I use AP3D (ActiveSky) on a client machine and Pilot2ATC is recognizing the "snapshot' in the ActiveSky weather folder. It seems to happen quite a bit where I will be assigned an Arrival runway from beginning to end of flight, despite a change in winds which normally would necessitate a change of runway for arrival. I never seem to get the runway change from ATC. Maybe there is …

Isn't it possible to ask P2A to allow parts of a flight plan to be bypassed by "direct to" a later waypoint? Or perhaps it is only possible for enroute waypoints, not those on a SID or STAR? I realise it would be possible by changing the flight plan directly in P2A itself, but that's no good when you are in the cockpit and have no access to the P2A screen, as in my case. Previous ATC programs I've used have certainly responded to such requests, but I have so far had no luck with P2A in this area. Pete

I've been researching this quite a bit and can't figure it out. I've remapped all the taxiways and it still insists on me cutting across the grass??? Anyone have any ideas? It seems to jump off on and random pin then connect to another across the airport then it sometimes back tracks to the active runway. I've included a picture so you can see what i'm talking about. You can see the two green pins next to my taxiway pins near the aircraft. The path then jump across to the top of the runway ignoring all other taxiway routes. Hi OK Installing latest P2A on the same PC as SIM. for starters. XP 11.55/Windows 10,P2A V 2.6.2.3 x64 R2 Aircraft: AFL King Air 350 Configure Flt Pln Tab to local drive... X plane 11\Output\FMS plans same for Flight plan folder. Set the server to local PC 192.168.*.* in XPUIPC (v2.0.3.64 shows multicasting on 192.168.*.*) Connects to XP (Green Connect) A new FP LEAL to LXGB auto plan and Saved shows in the FMS folder as a .VBF, which I understand to be the normal P2A format. Then EXPORT the same FP - set up the same folder in the EXPORT window, boxes ticked, which I believe will export in XP .FMS format. for the G530 to display …

What's the little button immediately to the right of the Callsign block? It's hard to make out the last letter but it looks like "Cht". Pressing it makes it green, but I cant tell what its for.

Hi, does anyone know where I can find Taxiways and Gates files (txl & gxl) I found a few at flightsim.to but I still have some Airports that have a taxiways and gate mess. I tried to do it my own but on the maps it is sometimes hard to read the markings on the ground thanks

In P2ATC version 2.6.2.3_x64_R2 I can't get the sectional chart to show up. I only get a white background. I tried using Adobe's PDF viewer and made it the default in all respects (i think) but didn't work. I then swtched to foxit, but still no sectionals. What else can I try? Thanks for any help, Steve

I have been given this command a couple of times a few waypoints before the start of a STAR descent. I will be at a given altitude, say 390, and get told "maintain 390. Cross xxxxx at 230 then fly the STAR to 3000 ft." The above may not be word perfectly but hopefully gives the general idea. When should I start the descent to cross xxxxx? How do I calculate the rate of descent. Normally using the FBW A320.

As in the title, this happened to me on the last flights, sometimes even before takeoff, sometimes mid-flight. My maximum was 4 squawk codes until now. The thing is: This never happened before in the two years I am using P2ATC. Is this some setting I accidentally changed or something new in the beta? EDIT: Just to be clear. I did set the correct squawk code when I was told to do so and set the transponder to active. It's a whole new squawk code every time. Hello, mid star ATC decided to vector me to the ILS runway (I guess due to a stiff angle between the STAR and the ILS) FINE! But I wish they gave me a heads up. I came in very high and had to go around as missed approach. For the future how do I know what’s the ATC plan so I can descend accordingly? Here is an image from the star vs vector by atc. :

Recently I've been flying ROPO 1B STAR in Aerosoft CRJ: I was requested by ATC to pass ROPOX at FL160, while CRJ descent profile predicted much higher altitude at this point (FL305) Why ATC is asking me to pass at fixed FL and not "at or above"? There is no altitude restriction at this point (ROPOX). This happens for most of my approaches in the CRJ. My plans are imported to P2ATC from Navigraph (based on Simbrief) and to CRJ FMS from Simbrief. How should I overcome this, to avoid steep descent, not in line with the descent profile optimal for the CRJ? Should I play with the Descent Rate in P2ATC? To have …

My TDS GTNXi 750 Flight Plan Catalog Menu / Import page returns “Flight plan import failed” when I try to load even the simplest flight plan imported from P2ATC in .gfp format. Is there any reason why P2ATC and TDS GTNXi 750 cannot work together?

BOOT FAILURE P2ATC has run ok for over a year, but started failing to boot recently. When I click on P2ATC, it sometimes starts, but can sometimes takes anywhere from 2 or 3 to 6 tries. When it fails, I get brief “flash” of a window and a brief indication in Task Manager, both of which quickly disappear. Occasionally, after initial tries, I get a “multiple instances” message (again, without appearing among apps running in Task Manager) just before P2ATC boots successfully. This occurs irrespectively of whether or not I try to get “administrator mode” or whether I use Start Menu tile, task bar icon, or the actual P2ATC.EXE in P2ATC folder. I ha…

Hi Dave, I know this was asked a while ago where people would like to have Oceanic Procedures added to P2ATC and while I can certainly see that it will require a lot of work to add the constant positioning report to P2ATC, I would like to ask how the prospect of Oceanic Procedures in the light of ADS-B/C is. Basically, these are my thoughts. 1: The oceanic clearance is basically an ordinary clearance with other wordings and a bit more back and forth. You then ask the controller you at with to leave frequency to get the oceanic clearance. 2: There is no need to make position reports using ADS-B/C.
