Hi, I only use say it with P2ATC but I want to try and learn the phrases and start using PTT. I would like to mainly use Say it for commands but occasionally use PTT to maybe ask for direct to etc. I would like the copilot to always answer for now in both cases. Is this possible?

Using P2A v.2.6.3.0_x64_PublicBeta1h. I have a Navigraph subscription and have noted some missing data on the P2A side for AIRAC 2113. I've confirmed the cycles are loaded (via Navigraph Center and FMS Data Manager) and every other tool (e.g., SimToolKitPro, FS2020) is correct. As an example, while attempting to create a VFR plan for a flight in the NE USA, I wanted to use EMI VOR out of Westminster. P2A will only show the Emirau airport which is not even in the same hemisphere. I've noted several other flaws in the Beta (e.g., incorrect phraseology), so I will revert back to the latest stable release and see if the data is correct.

I love this app BTW!!!! At times on long trips I just want to land and divert to another airport (because dinners ready in real life LOL). How do I ask ATC that I want to divert canceling the present flight plan and maybe obtain new instructions with landing instructions? Maybe we call it In-Flight Medical Emergency or something. What do I do with the MCDU Flight Plan. Thanks again

I cannot file a VFR flight plan to airports imported from MakeRwys. Judging from the logs, the program has trouble setting up a VFR pattern. I use the LiveTraffic plugin to add some dynamic traffic to my simulator and it works okay. Unfortunately pilot2atc does not always show the traffic even though I can see it in the sim. The TCAS option is enabled for LiveTraffic and on the P2A map both the "show aircraft" options are enabled. Is this a known issue or have I misconfigured something?

Since working with P2ATC, I have been frustrated that I cannot get that word not allowed copilot to shut up or let me work the radio. And today I notice that those two buttons on the Configuration screen controlling the copilot toggle on and off each time I hit the PTT button on my yoke. How do I get the buttons to just stay one way or the other, but not toggle every time I go to use the radio?

Hello Dave, after installing the actual Public Beta Vers. 2b I run into the following problems: After customizing taxiways and gates for EBBR (location, naming, gate type...) I want to save my work via the Save/Load tab to my disk for backup and/or editing in notepad (e.g. allocate list of airlines to gates). With the actual version I receive an error message (popup window), stating: "Gates failed to save for EBBR" and p2a creates an empty file. Saving the taxiways works fine. Hi Dave, for some reason now every time I try to ask for IFR clearance I jsut get this message: TAM Three Six Three you don't have your IFR clearance yet. Please advise when ready to copy. What im doing wrong here ? Thanks

Hello all, I am having some bother with Pilot2ATC on Windows 10. I recently upgraded from Windows 7(Yeah I know I'm slow!) and the software worked superb on Win7 but when I use 'Practice' on Grammar help or (talking to ATC nothing happens) it says 'Speech not recognised' although I have done every step and setting (From Mic,to Speech recognition in Win10) and just won't work. But my mic is working because I can 'talk' to 'Cortana' and I can use Win10s voice recorder. So I am at a loss! As I say on WIn 7 I had no troubles with the software. Any help is much appreciated.

When climbing away from EGKK in the FBW A32NX and having reached FL010 and no speed restrictions in the Pilot2ATC Flight Plan the A32NX automatically accelerates to 280 knots only to be told by ATC that I need to reduce my speed to 250 knots. This happens regularly when climbing above FL010 although the speed is 300 knots for the waypoint in the Flight Plan with no restrictions. Any advise or help would be much appreciated as I am a newbie to Pilot2ATC.

Hi All, Been flying a lot lately with P2ATC and something that doesn't quite feel as realistic as it could be are the vectors by ATC in two ways. I get vectors to specific headings that don't account for crosswinds. In other words, ATC is giving me the course it wants me to fly, but it's looking at my heading and when those don't match - which they won't except in zero wind or direct head/tail winds - even when I'm on the course they really want me on, I still get yelled at for not being on the correct heading. Vectors are being given with very specific headings - "fly heading 267" - and for things like airway headings those are correct. However, when vec…

Hi Been meaning to ask this before 😉 Every IFR flight I import (from Simbrief) in to P2ATC the cruise level always seems to default to FL260 Is there a setting someplace I can tick to allow higher cruise? Many thanks in advance

Hi - great program! When trying to land in las vegas (AIRAC updated to 2113, which is says in the menu bar) the STARS are always outdated. Pilot2ATC keeps wanting me to follow the SITEE2 arrival, which i cant find anywhere any tips wold be greatly apprecaied thanks!

Good afternoon, over the past few Beta releases (F/H) I have had several instances where communication just stops working. I still have ATC chatter, the flight tracker, counters, etc... are all still working. PTT lights up but it never captures my input and never speaks back to me (if I go off course, etc...). So far the only times this has happened is on approach and switching over to a frequency. I have to save the plan, close out, re-launch, load and scramble to get back before final :)

Version: PB1f I'm having an odd issue with Polly voices. They play fine in the preview but when I use them in a flight, I need to constantly increase the voice volume to hear them. For example, I can see their speech output in the window but hear no voices. But if I increase the volume in radio panel, I can hear the voices again. However, the next time the controller speaks, I can't hear them until I adjust the volume again. It becomes a cycle of not being able to hear the voice, increasing the volume to hear the voice, then not hearing it again during the next transmission. Has anyone else run into this?

Hi Dave, With AI traffic programs now coming out for MSFS, P2ATC's inability to talk to AI traffic is becoming more of a pronounced gap. P2ATC is far better than the default ATC, so to me it's coming down to a comparison between P2ATC and PF3. PF3 does talk to the AI traffic but doesn't handle the overall flight as well as I'd like. P2ATC handles the flight more correctly according to US rules (at least in my experience) but it gets awfully lonely up there even though I'm seeing traffic all over. So, the question becomes is this something that is even under consideration to be added to P2ATC? While I don't mind pre-recorded ATC chatter, it's more immersive to ha…

Hi Dave 🙂 Pilot2ATC 2.6.3.0 Public Beta 1h "Gate and Taxiway Maintenance" window: When this window is displayed, if the mouse pointer hovers over the map, then this window automatically goes into the background. We must then use Alt-Tab to bring it back to the foreground. ATC volume: Even with the volume set to 100% for all ATC voices in the options (chatter and all voices at 100%) and the volume set to maximum in the "P2A COM Frequency" window, the volume of the ATC voices remains too low compared to the volume of the co-pilot's voice. I am at KLAS airport and no how many times I try to Validate a flight, P2ATC will never give me a RW number or any departure. When i ask for taxi , it tells me to taxi to RW. So i have no idea where to go.

Hello Dave 🙂 Pilot2ATC version 2.6.2.4_x64_PublicBeta2f7 (under test) The pilot voice is ok (loud), but all the other ATC voices are very weak. However, the volume is set at maximum (100%) for each of the ATC voices in the configuration window (see the attached screenshot and the configuration files). Hi Simmers, I use Pilto2ATC for quite some time and I am really happy with it, except the callout of the tailnumber, I use GA how can I get rid off this number, my callsign should be enough Each time I delete the tailnumber in the config it resets itself back Wim

I see there is a place to set a path for real weather, but for the life of me, I can't seem to locate this path in x-plane? Any assistance is appreciated.

I want to load an updated taxiway and gate file for EDDL using the taxi mnt function. I've entered EDDL in the airport code box but when I click on load airport taxiways or gates it says I must input the airport code in top left box. EDDL is still showing! MSFS2020 (fully updated and no 3rd party scenery for EDDL) Win 10, Pilot2ATC 2021 PB1h. (also happened in released version of P2ATC before I tried the beta).
