If ATC changes my STAR and/or approach as I near the airport, should I be updating my flight plan? If so, should I be revalidating, filing and requesting clearance for the new one?

Greetings. I am running P2A on X-Plane 11.5. I also have the LiveTraffic (by TwinFan) plugin installed. Unfortunately, while sitting on the ground, with AI traffic showing in the sim, P2A does not show either the ground or the airborne traffic. Is there a setting that I am missing, or is this not possible with this plugin? Thanks!

Good Day All! I am thinking about purchase of P2ATC I am right now using the trial version and like what I have seen and heard. The problem I have is that I use a triple screen setup, I can open XP11 on one screen and having P2ATC already open drag it and overlay it and then using AMD Eyeinfinity set my screens and P2ATC is still on one of the screens but when I go to use anything IE: battery on in XP11 P2ATC dissappears. So I have to change back to windows mode and there it is. Any ideas how to keep P2ATC on when in triple screen mode??

Today i have landed at LEAL (Alicante) using ILS rw10 , the ATC give me permission to land when i call him to say i was in bound for final . But at the same time was landing an airplane at Rw28 and we have landed at same time meeting infront of us in the middle of runway. Why the ATC didn't tell me to hold position while the other airplane was landing at Rw28? i am using real traffic option , and the IA plane was recognized by Pilot2ATC (red plane at the map) Thanks a lot

I purchased 4 voices from CereProc Yesterday and all four of them have a 1000 count 7 second delay in them. I also have about 10 microsoft voices. installed and they work perfectly Anybody else have same problem or know how to fix this issue

Today I was flying back to the UK from Mallorca (for Christmas) I throttled up the engines of the Premier 1A and got a bonging (was my flaps set too far). So I called ATC for an aborted Takeoff and got nothing back. I gather there is no abort command or I had the phrase wrong, I hope that it there will be more features in the future I love this program

The assigned STAR to departure from LEAL is RW28 , but the flight plan map starts with departure from RW10. is that correct or this is a mistake? if its a mistake anybody knows how to fix it? I think that if the STAR is from RW28 the flight plan map route must start from RW 28 instead of RW10. Here a couple of pics thanks

Hi, I just bought the software and didn't receive a product key. It said it would emailed it to me but it never asked me for my email address.

Ran into a weird one tonight. Loaded a simbrief flight plan from PAOT to NZAA ( PAOT DCT OTZ J123 BET Q59 CDB DCT ZOULU A331 ZIGIE V7 JOELE V12 HNL V4 BINJO DCT CHOKO B326 ATIBA B590 VLI R599 DUGAN NZAA) then added a bunch of stepclimb information to it. FL STEPS PAOT/0300/OME/0290/CDB/0300/ZOULU/0320/ZIGIE/0330 JOELE/0340/NIXAM/0360/ATIBA/0370/KAPNO/0380/VLI/0370 NONON/0390 Got a few warnings about altitude restrictions that I told it to ignore, then went to validate the plan and every time it zeros out the flight plan. In case of multiple ILS approaches to one runway, IIRC the "standard" (ie. the go-to) approach is the approach with the letter Z (e.g. ILS24L Z). However, Pilot2ATC seems to always pick the one with the letter Y, which is only the alternative approach (when the standard one doesn't work for some reason). Is this a bug or am I wrong?

I can't for the love of me get ATC CHATTER sounds to work, installed it as per instructions here and NOTHING !!! He says about some volume but fails to show what volume is he talking about ? I am using MSFS 2020 Thanks

Still in the trial version but completed a flight, asked for taxi instructions and got given the taxi gate/route but open arriving there was no ground crew present. I then pulled up the MS ATC to get taxi instructions and they obviously directed me to the spot where I was able to end my flight. is this supposed to match, did I did something wrong? Thx

been using Pilot2atc for years and just read in a comment that you announce to tower "cleared of the active" tower will hand you to ground, ground will direct to parking". over the years I assumed this was not modeled so never used it. So tried this the last few flights, I exit the runway, pass the hold short lines, announce to tower " clear of the active (using my call sign " and nothing !!!! tried several times and no acknowledgement from tower !!! is this a setting I need to check ??? or does the tower just just not like me ???? When i request vectors for ILS / RNAV approach , the ATC gives me the heading instructions for the approach but don't give me the correct heading for the last turn to let me centered infront of the runaway to catch the ILS, is that correct and have to make the last turn manually? thanks

Hi, I have a question about the right way to do this in Pilot2Atc. I have the options set to let the app choose the star and approach (also have auto load procedures unchecked). So i set up my departure/destination airport and enter the sid and enroute waypoints, and just put in a destination runway setting, and then file the flight plan. that works fine, and all is well. When i get close to the star general area, it tells me the star and transition, and i put that in the FMC of the plane. At this point though, the Pilot2Atc flight plan doesn't update with the procedure it gave me. And when the plane starts flying the star, the app is tellin…

I assume the answer to this is no, but i figured i'd ask anyway since the app worked as is without many changes. Does P2A see any traffic (AI or live) from the sim at the moment? I haven't turned on traffic yet, but was just wondering. Thanks, Joe

Hi, Would like to ask if I am doing something wrong on that: Rex Weather Force now provides a metar_report.xml file, that is updated regularly. As I wanted pilot2atc to get the weather from this file instead from NOAA, in the WX tab of the options I linked to the directory (XXX:\rex weather force bla bla\export\ ) and checked the option to use REX. But... nothing happens. Tried different locations (in sim), did this on different times (in sim and in real), disabled UAC, started as admin, blah blah... Pilot2ATC simply doesn't show me the weather. ATIS tells me it's not available and the alt setting is always 29.92. The second thing: in the options traffic tab if …

I'm not able to get Pilot2ATC to calculate a TOD for a flight b/t KSFO and KEUG. I've tried a number of SIDs from SFO and Arrivals into KEUG, but can't get any to calculate a TOD. The specific route I was shooting for was KEUG-GRTFL-EUG-KEUG, with the TRUKN2 SID and ILS 16R ARR. Any thoughts?

I am using "say it" function , and i can't request a descend altitude, how to do it? If i wanna reques a descend of 2000 Ft of my cruise altitude (12.000 Ft) when i use " ~Fedex Six Seven request climb to Flight Level One Zero Zero" and the ATC respond me with " Fedex Six Seven Request Climb to Flight Level One Two Zero; " He still gives me the actual cruise altitude and don't give me the requested new altitude (One Zero Zero) thanks

I'm a RW PPL(A) SEP(L) pilot flying in Poland. Addition of Pilot2ATC to MFS2020 is a game chanher to me when it comes to realism. I have several questions, I wonder if it's a god idea to have them all in one thread, so at least I numbered them. Questions specific to ATC conventions in Poland (PL): 1. Unlike US, in PL we don't specify the aircraft type in the calls. I'm flying Tecnam P2008JC and my callsign when talking to ATC is just "SP-MGT". How to achieve this in Pilot2ATC? 2. I've been using Pilot2ATC for some time now, I use it every flight with MS FS2020 and I fly almost every day. Today it stopped fully connecting to the sim. Connect box does not turn green anymore. I've tried a lot of things, searched through the foruns, found a list of eight things to check but could not solve the problem. I have even re-installed the software, but it did not help.
