Hello Dave 🙂 P2A v2.6.1.2 / X-Plane v11.50-b12 / XPUIPC v2.0.0.0 / Windows 10 With the latest version of P2A, when I connect P2A to X-Plane via the XPUIPC plugin, P2A connects well, but the connect button doesn't turn green and stays in the "Connect" state. -------- [ EDIT by JPR ] I went back to X-Plane version v11.50-b11 (version v11.50-b12 was removed by Laminar because it had problems) => with X-Plane v11.50-b11, I no longer have the problem with the Pilot2ATC connect button. So the problem came from XP v11.50-b12. 🙂

I spent about 7 hours troubleshooting this problem, tried all solutions I read on the forums, and was at the point of banging my head against Honeycomb Alpha, but suddenly found a solution, so I want to share it in case someone has a similar problem. Here’s a description of my original setup, with which I had issues. - Laptop (Dell G7) has a single headset jack (single 3.5 connector used for both mic and headphones), where I plugged external speakers. Hi all. I've noticed lately that when departing KMIA Pilot2ATC stays stuck on tower. Sometimes if I manually move the freq to departure it works but will not pick up the proper Center. Any one else experiencing these issues? BTW I'm using the latest release. I also noticed this problem with the prior release.

Hello Dave, after updating to the latest version: 2.6.1.2. x64, when entering any cruise level[ 200,240,310], etc, it always changes to a lower setting i.e FL 71/91 and so on. Using FMS & PLN flight plan formats, but will not accept the values i type in. The maximum flight level i can see is FL106, but i have to type in 360 to do this. Any thought's, Thanks,

It is well understood, that on a gate a truck is mandatory to push back the plane in a position where it can start to taxi. What about roll-out positions? At EDDF there are many of them. Positions V153-V178 for example. Those are all one way. To taxi out straight. Why P2A forces a pushback by giving taxi-clearance to "taxi on N" (to runway 18) from the present position? I skipped the request for pushback, as it is not neccesary, instead reported "Ready to taxi". In the scenery all the above mentioned positions are "one way" facing south. By using the taxi/maintanace tool i could not figure out, how to change this.

Hi, I have been using Pilot2ATC for about two months now and so far I am pretty happy with it. However, I constantly get issues when flying final approach. I learned through the forums that when the controllers clears you for the final approach you are supposedly cleared for final approach course and altitude. But sometimes this logic seems to fail. For example today, while flying the QWENN Five arrival into KSLC 34R, I was cleared to descend to 9000 feet through the STAR to HAKKR. According to the approach procedure I should keep descending up to 6100, but even when cleared to the approach, controller starts telling me to climb to 10000 feet. I had to manu…

Hi, looking for some info regarding the plugin Move vr and using it with Pilot2atc. I can open P2atc in vr but I can't interact with any buttons, ie pushTT. I'm sure I used to be able to use the touch controllers on the P2atc interface and I've read that other people can as well and some say you can't. Is there a definite answer to this please. I've never been able to click on anything in the lower left Com area of P2A with any results. This is the case in all aircraft I have tried. In order to switch from standby to active, I have to use the plane's dashboard controls, which is no big deal to me. However, this prevents me from accessing the Com volume control, which is preventing me from balancing volume between my X ATC Chatter and P2A's voices. Would anybody have any ideas? Thanks!

Hi everyone, I've been using Pilot2ATC for a while now and am very happy with it. There are a couple of quirks I'd like to know if I can fix though and would be grateful for advice. Firstly, once I've reached Top of Descent and my aircraft starts descending, ATC comes back on and complains. I could request a new descent altitude but is there a way of telling them you've started your descent into XXXX airport? Also, is there any way of telling ATC you're deviating around weather without them getting all snarky? I've just turned off the option to tell me I'm "off course" but it would be great if you could just ask for a rerouting. …

Maybe someone could help me out here. I'm flying a short flight from KSAN to KLAX. In simbrief the plan calls for a sid for departure and no star for arrival. I setup the ILS approach in Pilot2atc and the plan validates and files correctly. Everything goes well until atc starts setting up vectors to the ILS approach on runway <>. It looks like it is correct until it leaves me off a good ways to one side. Doesn't line me up. I've tried this about 5 times and it is always the same. I have a Navigraph account and have airac 2006 installed in both X-plane 11 and Pilot2atc. I am spot on and prompt on heading changes. Also I have tried approaches from both wind directions…

Hi pilots, when flying from a smaller airfield in Germany, you cannot directly file IFR. Instead I fly VFR from this airfield to a pickup IFR waypoint or a VOR etc. nearby and check in there with radar ("D-EXYZ passing 1500ft"). I know in the states you can even call them by phone and start IFR without even using the radio. What would be the best way to make it as close to reality in Germany as possible? Just filing IFR from EDKB to EHBK IFR would result in the same as filing from an airport like EDDK with ground handling etc. which is not how it works on such airfields here. Best, Rolf

Hi, I've no problem with speech recognition and communication with P2A, bat I'm not able to use the "Personal Grammar Training Phrases" because I didn't get (orange) phrases in this window. Therefore, I assume, I didn't get the "Speech Recognition Information" window, too. In contrast to this I get (orange) phrases in the first window of the "P2A Grammar Helper" and I'm able to practice speech there and there I get the "Speech Recognition Information" window. What's going wrong? I beg for help.

Hi all, yesterday I filed a F-PLN with SID and STAR (I know, that in real the STAR during flight will be used mostly) and it was valid. Then I changed the STAR in P2A during a flight, but the F-PLN wasn't active any more after that and communication via speech recognition etc. wasn't possible any more, too. I filed the changed F-PLN during flight again in order to activate it. It seems to me, that communication wan't able immediately after that, but with a latency and not strict in the connection with the "old" plan in my opinion. Are there a possibility to avoid deactivating of the F-PLN after changing especially the STAR or transition?

Hello, In Pilot2ATC configuration "Speech", I enabled the Copliot options "Respons to Radio" and "Changes Frequencies". Problem: when changing frequency in Pilot2ATC, the frequencies are not changed in Maddog X. I need to change them manually in the maddog X radio panel, to allow radio communication. Any ideas how to solve this? Regards, Frank

pilot2atc is normal for clearance and pushback until taxi to rwy for take off , atc assign me to tower freq and when request for departure atc no longer respond..til the whole flight pls help..

Hello guys I have a query regarding the usage of p2atc plugin along with the JARs A330 co-pilot plugin. I am about to install p2atc and since both use voice recognition, is there going to be a conflict ? if yes, is there a way around it ? Thanks

Hi, in the vicinity of EDDK Radar uses the frequency 135.350. When tuning in the frequency on stby side, P2A acknowledges it as "LANGE Ctr". When switching this to the active frequency, just "---" is shown then for this frequency. I don't get chatter then, so I assume this is the reason. Anything I'm doing wrong here? Just started using P2Atc again. Want to use FSGRW for real weather, and P2Atc is wanting the file name in the post title. Where is this file? I'm using Dynamic weather download in FSGRW, so I hope it's possible? I've read the manual, searched here, and elsewhere, and not found the answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. After an hour of looking around I gave up and asked the question. Edit: Well that was quick. I figured it out. It's a setting in FSGRW for data exchange, that has to be selected. Maybe this will help someone else, or perhaps that person is wiser than me to begin with.🙃

Hi everyone ! My name is David and I am a proud Pilot2Atc user. But something is very weird for some airports. For example, for LFMN (Nice Côte d'Azur / International airport), it is not possible to select a SID (even with the auto plan option), when in reality (and in other addons like PFPX), SID exist. is this a bug or a misunderstanding on my part ? I don't know but it is very frustrated. If anyone can help me. For your information, I use the P3D V5 and Active Sky P3D (the beta for P3D V5). Pilot2QAtc is connected to Active Sky for the weather. Hello just joined the forum. I found it while searching for help on errors I'm getting when importing taxiways and gates information in P2ATC from Xplane 11.41 . I know this has been addressed on this forum before and apologize for that, but I have followed exactly the manual and a post from Dave here, and still can not find the files. I did a bit of searching and moving the .dat and ini files under the C:\Users\chere\OneDrive\Desktop\X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery\; and looked at the ini file and can not seem to figure this out. My question concerns an ILS approach I was doing into KATL. The approach loaded into the MDU and into P2ATC were identical. Verified by inspecting the waypoints on the right side of the P2ATC screen. The approach is a lengthy one into 09L of KATL using the RYENN via. I was expecting to compete the last waypoint, STUMP, of the SITTH2 STAR and then get vectors to the RYENN via which is almost parallel at that point. However, when flying this parallel course P2ATC unexpectedly gave me vectors that would bypass the vias and start final. Hi, I've been using the eminent P2A since feb 2018 and generally happy with it, but there is one thing that is annoying. I get my flightplan from Simbrief and paste it into P2A. I choose Runway and Sid, Star, Cruize and Approach. BUT - when sending it to ATC and getting green for the FPL, ATC often changes not only the Runway but also the SID! I have tried all thinkable ways of settings in config but ATC still change my FPL when confirming. It's rather annoying to say the least and mostly happens with variable windspeed and calm conditions. So - what are the correct and exact config settings for me to decide runway/SID so ATC will accept it without changing…

Hi I am using the trial version of Pilot 2 ATC at the moment and all works except the voice training. I have followed all instructions and read several posts but no matter what I try when I press train it will not open another window. I have voice set to English US and it is top of the list. Can anyone help as this looks to be a great program. I am using windows 10. Sorry if this has been asked before but as I say I have read several solutions but none have worked for me. Thanks
