I've spent two or more days getting everything set up for my new Alpha & Bravo. All axes in FSUIPC6 and all buttons & switches in SPAD.neXt. Then I realized the Bravo leds weren't working for the gear indicators or caution / warning lights. I then reluctantly downloaded and installed the Aerosoft Honeycomb software V2200. So, then the leds were all working but it nearly completely messed up all the switches and buttons. I uninstalled the AS HC software and the controls and switches now work again but no leds. I found a set of lua scripts that seem to be tested only in MSFS and I can't figure out how to fix them for P3D. Surely others have solved this problem. I'm …

Is there a particular version of Heathrow scenery that is recommended by P3v5 simmers? I googled it and the one that comes up most frequently is the following: Mega Airport London Heathrow Professional Scenery for P3D. It's by Simmarket. It costs around $33 or so and if it's good, I will buy it. I see that UK2000 has Heathrow that was developed in 2014 but supposedly is good for all versions of P3d. Looking for a recommendation. Back when I used FS9 there were tons of very good freeware sceneries available. With P3D I noticed there are not a lot of freeware sceneries. Is there any good freeware scenery I may have missed or don't know about? Here are the freeware stuff I know about SIMMERSHOME – Welcome to our website! I accidently hit a key and now the keyboard is hotkeys. How can I turn this off? This means that I can't type for flight planning etc as every key has become a hotkey. i.e changes views, landing gear, flaps etc. The is obviously a key combination to unlock this. I obviously used said combo accidently.

Here are the two images, I have no idea what is going on. I have orbx global, hawaii photoreal and cityscapes hawaii, and all FSDT sceneries, but this has never happened to me before.

As it is with a lot of P3D airports, their afcads are way out of date. A lot of the time you can just download an updated one that someone has so generously created. Unfortunately my local airport isn't that lucky, granted it's had quite the renovation done to it in the last 10 years. Looking for someone who has the talent of creating and editing afcads who can update my local airport!

I run my Dash 8 Q400 with P3D v5.3 under windows 10. I also have the FS2Crew and EZCA addons.I have a problem when I get to the TakeOff Procedure in FS2Crew - the copilot readouts do not occur and I cannot communicate with FS2Crew until I get to the Climb Procedure.My solution for this has been to turn EZCA off during the TakeOff Procedure and turn it on again during the climb.This is the case at all airports and does noy apply to my other aircraft (PMDG 737 NGXu). There would thus appear to be a conflict between FS2Crew and EZCA during the TakeOff Proc. Does anyone have the same problem? Is there a solution? John McWilliam

I have been trying to generate P3Dv4 photoscenery for southern Sweden with Ortho4XP_FSX_P3D, but the consistency in colouration is a bit of a problem. I have tried Bing/Google/ARC, but they all exhibit some problems. After a bit of investigation, it seems that using Hitta/SE/SE2 is best for Sweden photoscenery, but I am not sure how to access these. There was a suggestion that they are in the EUR option, but when I try to use that, all I get are multiple instances of "waiting for DK ticket to be updated" messages, which I assume means that nothing is being done? The two areas that I am most interested in are around ESGG Gothenburg and ESMS Malmo airports, but both of…

Hello! I have a problem with the Maddog X by Leonardo. For some reason the reverse is that strong, it is even able to accelerate me backwards faster than forwards (looks really werd when in action). So whenever I land I brake from 130 knots to 0 in no time. I do not have this issue on any other aircraft I use. Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm not sure what I've done, but I seem to have lost my "basic" P3D dynamic lighting. I only notice it affecting my FSdreamteam KORDv2, but apparently it's a P3D bug, rather than an FSdreamteam KORD issue. I'm not smart enough to really understand what that means, and certainly not smart enough to figure out a fix. Looking for tips and techniques for flying the Aerosoft Discus K glider in P3Dv4.5. Once the tow plane starts its takeoff roll, the glider quickly generates so much lift that I can no longer see the tow plane because it’s nearly beneath my glider unless I intentionally input a lot of down elevator. If I’m able to get that under control, the rudder is practically impossible to get/keep the glider reasonably centered behind the tow plane; this results in the tow rope prematurely auto-disconnecting from the glider. I’ve starting modifying the rudder and elevator axes using FSUIPC slopes to make the center less sensitive, but that hasn’t helped so far; I probably need to k…

Hi folks, Can some one tell me if the repaint/download for the iFly 737NG for FS9 would be compatible for the 737NG for P3Dv5? I was interested in installing the United 737-800 Star Wars livery (N36272) but could only find the FS9 version in the Flight 1 library. Thx! Mark

Hello, today I came over an old scenery which I bought a few years ago and installed it into P3D v5. The airport is MKJS (Montego Bay) from RWY26, but I have issues with displaying the scenery correctly. I don't remember exactly but I think in earlier P3D versions I had no problems with it but in v5 I see no ground markings on the apron, taxiways and runway. I did a bit research and found this closed thread on Avsim: I did everything in the instructions of Rico33 but unfortunately still have the same problem. I also added the SODE jetways which I've downloaded from the official developer site. Is there any way to get this scenery working in P3D v5? Thanks …

Hey Guys After having this plane for a couple of years for P3D v4 and FSX I want to finally sit down and try and learn how to fly this lovely plane. Can anyone recommend some good tutorials? So far i have worked out how to load a cold and dark panel state but that's about it. kind regards Daz

Hi, the highschool I work for bought 4 p3dv5 licences and 4 a2a 172s to go with. after about a week, the liveries and cockpit placards and labels ,on these as well as some of the onboard aircrafts, have all faded to grey. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hello all, Is anyone else having an issue with Volanta reducing P3D to a slideshow (10 FPS or so) when the app is open on the PC? As soon as I shut it again, FPS returns to normal. Cheers, Rudy

I recently discovered the Coolsky DC 9 and have to say I really find this plane quite intiguing. So my questions are: Is it compatible with P3D 5.3 ( I have seen some posts confirming compatibility with P3D v5 but it was longer ago, so it could not have been 5.3) Is the overall realism compararble/better than the Maddog X (flight model, failures/wear&tear) ?

I just upgraded my CPU and decided to check out it will perform in P3D. I have an RTX 3080Ti as a GPU. I loaded the PMDG 777 , ActiveSky and my normal addons. I am getting upward of 95 fps while sitting at the gate with the engine running. that's at 3440x1440p resolution. I don't remember getting fps anywhere close to that when I had my 3800x. It's pretty outstanding performance.

After installing P3Dv5.3 I realized Airports structures and paints changed. There were no more Jetways. I reinstalled P3Dv5.3, no changes. I thought my be GTX will save me. No luck. I need your help. I am stuck. (This is Newark airport. No jetways)
