Hi, I did a clean reinstall of p3d v.4 and I noticed a clip in my installation when I manually located where I wanted to place my main folder as opposed to having it in my C-drive. I currently have it in D/Lockheed Martin/ as the main folder as opposed to D/Lockeed Martin/Prepar3D v4 as it usually is. Could that be the cause for some of the strange errors I get? And if so, how can I change the folder location correctly without having to reinstall everything (my addons) again? In my appdata/roaming, etc folders it is located as .../Lockheed Martin/Prepar3D v4

Hello, I'm still on an older version of P3D and read mixed feedback about the updated airport data in P3Dv5, mainly lacking gates etc., at release data. How is the situation today? Does anyone know which date the airport data is based on in P3Dv5, e.g. does ROAH / Naha already feature RWY 36L/18R? Many thanks for a short feedback!

Okay, not expecting much, but it is a fun little historical jet and mostly nice enough except crazy pitch problems. On autopilot it's okay, but switch off and neither elevator nor trim input are predictable--now zooming up toward a stall, now doing a lawn dart short of the runway. Almost as bad on takeoff. Any ideas? Payware should be flyable at least, and while I've seen this issue crop in from time to time in my research, nothing ever seemed to get resolved. Maybe it was and something in 5.1 didn't get adjusted. I dunno. Would like to fly it, but have other stuff if no one has a fix.

Hi, I wanted to delete ENVSHADE. However, as soon as I uninstall ENVSHADE, ENVDIR no longer starts. I first did ENVDIR , Restore and Disabled, after that I uninstalled ENSHADE. After that, ENVDIR doesn't start anymore.. only when I start ENVSHADE.. how can I solve the problem and best get rid of ENVSHADE

Hi guys, I'm having a very frustrating issue, the sim gets stuck when loading air, land, and sea traffic, (THIS ONLY HAPPENS AT MIDDLE EAST AIRPORTS) I've tried every airport and the same happens, where any other airport not in the middle east loads just fine. I haven't tried loading at one of these airports and fly into the middle east air space to see what happens but I'm pretty sure the sim will crash. Any clue?

Hi: Majestic made/has a "MOD" for the -8 freighter. I've tried following the steps listed on their forums to get it to work, but no joy. Nobody has responded to post for help on their site either. Has anyone here got it to work? Here's what I did from their forums so far: I sorted it myself by adding the folder "model.F" to the main mjcq400 folder. This must contain the downloaded freighter .MDL file plus the interior MDL files from the main "model" folder. The "model.F" folder must also have its own cfg file reading: [models] normal=mjc_q400F_ext.MDL interior=mjc_q400_int.MDL Then make sure your aircraft cfg file reads such that it points to…

I know it is a known P3D issue... Maybe someone found a solution for it. Loading some sceneries all look ok, after a few hours flight arriving those sceneries I can see floating houses... For example Aerosoft Maderia , loaded all ok , flew there after 3 hours flight and houses floating around the airport... Thx.

Can someone please let me know which areas of RealScenery Greece cover the mainland east of Corfu? Part 2.1 seems to cover some of the mainland directly adjacent to Corfu, but is 2.2 directly below this, or directly east of it? I need to know which areas to purchase, but the details for the other packages do not indicate the coverage areas!

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, but not into simulation. I've been using p3dv5 for a few months, I've been using AIG MANAGER from the start. for a few weeks I have started to have less traffic since and those despite the 100% have settled. Ditto for updates, none available. I asked a friend to look into the problem, he was unsuccessful. I find myself with 12 traffic on CDG. Do you have a solution to bring me less radical than a complete uninstallation and reinstallation. thank's for rescue see you soon Pierrot46037812

A bit of an ambiguous title, but recently I replaced my SSD and installed a clean copy of Windows 11 Home. I then re-installed P3D and all my add-ons (not move) to the same drive that Windows is installed (C:). Now, P3D no longer detects ActiveSky, SODE, FSDT's Addon Manager and so on. ChasePlane is the only addon that seemed to have properly put in an entry in the dll and exe xml. (Yes, I did install SimConnect, it did not make any difference) Looking at my documents folder, I noticed that this new installation of Windows 11 moved the Documents folder to C:\Users\<name>\OneDrive\Documents I did not find the Documents folder in C:\Users\<name…

Good evening, here are some pics of the stock missionobjects.bgl Oil rig which i have revised a tad, It was lacking any real lighting and the textures in some areas where quite low res, After receiving feedback for my oil rig scenery package I did for a few off shore rig pilots for their full size simulator Ive updated some textures and added some lights as it was horrible to try and land during low light I hope to upload it soon, so anyone who uses any oil rig scenery that uses this stock model. will see the change and be able to find the rig land quite easily after dusk

Hello All, As you may or may not know, Aerosoft have a 50% sale on at the moment, including the CRJ Pro. I haven't seen any mention of the CRJ on here for a while, so just wondered if anyone was still using it with the latest version of P3D and whether you would say it was worth picking up? Obviously there is the whole Aerosoft/P3D support thing (not wishing to start another conversation about that) but just wondered if it was actually flyable/enjoyable, or whether even at 50% off it's not worth the hassle? Hi, Is anyone interested in an upload of my good-old Groundhandling package for P3Dv4 ? I made an upgrade on request of a user who migrated from FSX to P3Dv4. Besides the 64-bit compatibility, I also added a few new things: - A new Taxispeed gauge, works now accurately for any aircraft. - Besides the old-style pushback (using the FSX/P3D embedded pushback function), I added a free-style pushback so you can steer the aircraft yourself during pushback. Things must be going pretty well for us with P3d v5 plus its existing hotfixes. Why? There doesn't seem to be much clamoring or strong frustration with P3d that HAS occurred in the past on this specific forum. That's great! I know I'm perfectly happy with my P3d v5 performance. I can't remember when I've had any serious stutters or pauses or memory CTD's. I am using Active Sky, Active Sky Cloud Art, Season Manager and Addon Manager. My settings have most sliders full right, and I could not be happier with EA and the clouds at all altitudes (using NO volumetric clouds). I update my Nvidia drivers when new ones come out, and I make absolutely NO changes to the Nvidia…

Hay guys! Its been a long time posting since I was working on other projects, but im getting close to releasing the Zenith 701 for P3D! This has been a great little project with direct cooperation with Zenith Aircraft! Originally created for the canceled Flight Sim World, im converting it for P3D/FSX. The Zenith is a great little home built bush aircraft that has great visibility, low stall speed, and great rate of climb using the Rotax 912 engine. Hi, up to know my ssw f104 was working fine, however, it stopped working and I need an new activation key as the old one don't work anymore. The same problem goes for my ssw F104 in FSX. Hi everyone, All of a sudden FFTF Dynamic says “Offline usage limit reached: Application cannot connect with FSPS servers. Please get online or allow traffic for FSPS applications through your firewall”. I am online and the application is permitted through the firewall. Are the servers down or do I have a problem?
