Hello, is there somebody who can kindly help me on how to turn on/engage the NOSE WHEEL STEERING SYSTEM? I checked the whole cockpit switches without success, manuals didn't point me. Thank you so much.

This is what I see for the Kambut Libya airport in P3D V5 - I tried to adjust the elevation in ADE and only the runway is raised.

Hello, Doing a recent repair of v5 and ran into the ugly star/Milky Way texture flying a night flight. I can't remember for the life of me what texture this was that needed to be edited or replaced; by chance does anyone know how to address remove this overexaggerated white night sky? I've already edited MilkyWay_lm.dds to no avail. Thanks very much.

I have always followed the P3D bible that you should run unlimited frames in the sim and limit to 30fps externally (being the refresh rate of my Monitor divided by 2). By mistake, I ran my sim without NCPanel having those settings. Still had max performance etc. but no fps limiter and vertical sync was set to fast. To my amazement it made absolutely no difference to the visual display. FPS varied between 5 and 80 (5 when loading Sydney on the approach, the only time it dipped really low). Stutters on loading were no worse and I could not visually detect any difference in the display. So, is the Holy Grail of P3D not valid any more? Ian

I've brought this up in the past on this forum, and although I thought it was fixed, it is not! My Seasons are not showing correctly in P3dv5. It is now Spring, and I have Autumn textures everywhere. I've re-installed Orbx HD trees and Terra Flora v2, and I've done everything I know to try to get a correct rendition of just green foliage as it's supposed to be. I've reinstalled the Scenery File in P3d and nothing works. I've checked the Scenery Folder in P3d and the Seasons BGL is there, although I'm not sure if it's complete. How can I reinstall Default trees in P3d? Perhaps that will help. Do I need to totally reinstall P3d or is there something else I can tr…

Die Batterie auf den Mainboard die zuständig war für meine 😄 Festplatte (M2 Samsung SSD) war leer. Nacch Umtausch der Batterie war die 😄 Festplatte komplett wieder da aber Windows 7 startete nicht mehr. Eine wichtige Systemdatei war kapput. I assigned Bush Back button to "Shift+P" combination. Airplane goes back, when I click Shift+P , stops, then stars to go forward. How can I correct it? Thanks

Just picked this up yesterday. Been kicking the idea around for quite some time. This is an excellent creation. I particularly enjoy a couple things like their weather radar, watching snow accumulate on the aircraft while sitting on the ramp or at the gate etc. Inside and out the aircraft are visually very good. While I'm a retired pilot but not an Airbus pilot I'm pleased with this purchase. While the Sharklet add-on is not inexpensive for me it is money well spent. Dave

I have a couple of mesh issues in the terrain to the north of the airport as I approach runway 25. These appear as flat topped plateaus. Can any other users confirm this? If so, is there a fix? I am using P3Dv4.5HF2.

Hi folks, A lot of people experience very dark cockpits in P3D v5 and I’m no exception - there are loads of solutions suggested out there but the only one that works is turning off interior receive shadows option. The problem then is that everything looks really bright, and the flight deck looks naff without shadows. Is there anything I can do to adjust shadow depiction in P3D? In the Prepar3d.cfg file or elswhere? I’ve changed the shadow thing in envshade to Low but it’s made no difference. Any suggestions? thanks all

Hey, I just happened to go see FSCommander main page - and right there - the creator straight up says that it will not work with P3Dv4.1. With no link page to download etc (I had to google to see the other pages). I do not see any mention of a fix coming for P3D4.1 Does it appear that the software is near its end of production? Anybody know what is going on this. Are we going to be left with PPFX and Simbrief for flight planning?

I've only had P3D v3.4 a week and although I'm pleased with its performance on my system I have been disappointed with the somewhat dull views. I've changed brightness, bloom and other settings but it still falls short of what is a pleasing image. I have HDR enabled but my display - a Sony 32" Full HD TV - is not HDR capable. I know 4K displays generally have HDR but I'm limited to Full HD because FS Labs Concorde-X will run out of memory if the resolution is increased beyond 1920 x 1080. Searching the web Sony has announced a range of Full HD HDR TVs. I'm considering whether to invest in one. I'd appreciate comments from those who have an HDR-enabled display. …

Hi all, I purchased some South American Sceneries recently, among them Pauo Ricardo's SBKP scenery - not a native v5 scenery but I got it installed and an exclude from the inibuilds site working. No issues when I load into the airport from the scenario screen. Upon my maiden voyage into the airport however - a long haul from EHAM in the PMDG 744, the elevation and terrain appeared to have loaded in incorrectly, the runway and the taxiways were embedded in the ground with the lights etc. floating above them. There was also uneven default terrain sticking out. I had to abandon my taxi to the stand after I got caught on a hill sticking out under the taxiway. After …

I was wondering whether an old 737 MCP model from cpflight (please see attached picture), which is already equipped with an USB connector will work with P3D v4.5 and the new NGXu from PMDG? guys, is anyone else getting this message after re installation of RDshade " you need to install .NET Desktop 6.0.2 (x64) for this application to work ( or words to that effect ) I have even downloaded the .NET manually program still doesn't run ?

I see the pinned post on the XGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG crash. I am getting this crash every time since upgrading to P3DV5.3 - rarely had it in 5.2. I have an NdvidiaTitan X with 12 GB on it and I see I am only using 4-5 GB. The crash usually happens after I complete a flight and am the gate just sitting there, or on a 2nd flight shortly after takeoff but during level flights. All my flights are 1/2 to 1 hour long. I uploaded the latest drivers from Nvidia experience. My question is: 1. Did the fix reported here solve the problem - as it said temp fix. no one reported on this really since. My flight from Jersey, CI (EGJJ) to Milan Malpensa encountered some serious weather soon after takeoff. Active Sky matches real world conditions perfectly. Departed 08 EGJJ at 10:00Z on Sunday 15 May. Still plenty of life in 'defunct' P3D. And if you want to try this tomorrow you can because AS has historical weather.

Hi, I own P3Dv5 and MSFS. Most of the time I fly P3D for a number of reasons. And yes I also do VFR in P3D. That's certainly possible with good sectional charts. Every road, lake, powerline and so on is visible in P3D, at least if you use Orbx regions, LC or photo products. Today I made a short flight in MSFS, when finished I got the steam achievement (50 hours of flighttime in a single pilot profile). Haha, 50 hours in one and a half year. In P3D it's about 300 hours. But what surprised me was the number of users who have reached this achievement; 10.9% of players have reached this achievement. This means that 89.1% of the MSFS steam users has flown less than…

I tried to improve the look of the default cruisers used in AI traffic and static in sceneries. I did not try to completely improve it to 4K, which would mean to completely redraw it. Hi all, I've just left a question over on the JF forum asking for an update on the VC-10 Pro and future P3D V5 use. Having said (typed) that, I'm wondering if any of the regulars (yes you, CHOCK) have managed to get the V4 model running in V5 ? In my case, it simply pushed P3D into La La Land and I end up having to CTL+ALT+Delete my way back to the desktop. It's such a shame, this aircraft would do nicely in V5 (opinion). So... any help out there ? Mark

I upgraded my NVMe SSD from 500GB to 1TB by using an enclosure to clone the drive then installed the new drive. Everything looks and works exactly the same after installing the new SSD EXCEPT P3D will not run the first time I try to run it. It looks like it's starting then just vanishes. However it does start up on the second attempt and works completely normal after that. I always open Active Sky, REX Sky Force and REX Environment first and they all open without any issues. I don't know if anyone else is having issues, but when I'm trying to add different liveries to CRJ Professional for P3Dv4, the external textures turn out black. There's no issues with flight controls or anything else, just the texture.
