Hello to my fellow MCE users. I'm running a windows 11 computer. I'm also runnintg p3d v 5.3, which is suppose to be the latest version of p3d. Every time I go to launch MCE, I get the wizard to go through the steps to set up MCE. When I'm finished with the wizard and I launch MCE, I hear the audio, but then I still get the error message to turn off the windows speech bar since MCE doesn't need it. Now, I'm blind and use a keyboard for my input device. How can I turn off the windows speech bar. Also, if I'm lucky enough to get that problem solved, I hope the error message that MCE will only run with FS or FSX, please launch that program.…

Loads and flies fine in v5 for me now. Don't know what the difference is. But I can't start it by the book and there doesn't seem to be much out there. I have power, I have the fuel configured for engine 3 as directed, and I have the external air on. But when I initiate the start sequence from the engineer's table, the lights come on, but nothing turns, much less burns. I find the leap of faith required for the air disturbing. I can't see anything that is actually showing pressure like in every other jet I've ever had. The manual is not very helpful. Hi guys Recently in a thread here, some people pointed out that FS2Crew products make it easier to fly a complex plane like PMDG 737 or 747. I have lots of airliners and wonder, if I'd like the FS2Crew complete package or not. What makes me unsure is the lack of ratings at Simmarket. A few specific products like the MAJESTIC DASH 8 Q400 SPECIAL BUNDLE PACK FSX P3D have one five star review, but the writer is just praises the Majestic Q400 aircraft. If this products are that immersive and fantastic, shoudn't there be more ratings? The other point is, I still like easier planes like Captainsim 737 Classic or Justflights F-27 to fly rather than the PMDG 737 NGXu, w…

I took advantage of Simmarket's free Skunk Works G-91 plane. I downloaded both the SSW-FIAT-G91-P3Dx64.1.2.0.exe and SSW-keyless-installer-unified-v1.0.2.exe. I ran the core installation files first (SSW-FIAT-G91-P3Dx64.1.2.0.exe) and then ran the keyless installer (SSW-keyless-installer-unified-v1.0.2.exe). While the plane works great, it runs in DEMO mode and after about 5 minutes, P3DV4.5 pauses. I have created a ticket at Skunk Works, I've emailed them, and posted in their forum (along with others). So far, no response at all... Just wondering if anyone has successfully installed the free Skunk Works G-91 plane using the Keyless unified installer? …

Hi Guys, Basic question if i may,I have P3DV5.3 running stable on my system.I now want to uninstall P3Dv4.5 to free up some space. I will be removing it via the windows control panel,will this leave all P3Dv5 files alone and not remove anything related with v5. With Thanks, Gary Jones.

Hello, I am thinking about to change the water color in p3dv5 the water in my screenshot looks so weird Anyone know how to change them to normal sea water?

EDIT: Just realized this is weirder than I thought, so I'm going to ponder it a bit before asking.

I bought MK Studios Donegal scenery when it was on sale at Orbx, and I just got around to installing it. The install went fine, and the scenery is working in the sim but every time I start P3Dv5.3 it asks me to add the Donegal scenery. What is going on? Why is it asking me to add the scenery every time I start the sim? How do I stop this from happening? PS: I checked the P3D scenery library and Donegal is only listed once there. I am guessing somehow the scenery gets uninstalled when I exit the sim then gets added when I start the sim again.

Has anybody made and F-16, payware or freeware, for P3Dv5? Noel

Someone else having or had the issue with DD Leipzig that the ground textures of the surrounding airport are not loading or loading very slow. Rest of the world and airports are fine also the scenery itself is good. So no problems with the terminal or the apron. Its only the surrounding. Its green (as on the photo) and then it instantly appears as normal and that continues till you have passed the whole airport. You can see the area not covered by the scenery is sharp and good but the airport is not while the ground layout is fine.

Today, when I started P3d, the sky was totally black, the gauges in the cockpit were totally black and it seemed like there was some sort of catastrophic event that happened overnight. I shut down P3d (v5) last night after a very successful day of flying. I made no changes whatsoever, and today, the sim looked like it was "bizzaro-world" with absolutely no atmosphere at all. I uninstalled and re-installed Client, Content and Scenery. I deleted my Cfg and let it build a new one. I changed video drivers to an earlier version. Nothing at all helped. How do you solve the problem? When flying from the cockpit viewpoint, the ground surface display has a problem as shown in the image. This problem does not occur in the external viewpoint. Greetings, I am undecided between the L35 by FSW and the same Learjet 35 by Xtreme Projects. I like the FMS Expansion Pack in the FSW's model (no need to purchase a separate GTN and you get a nice FMS) but the VC's graphics in the Xtreme Projects' model look more polished and modern. For those who have knowledge of both, which one is the better choice, aside from the FMS and the graphics? I am running P3d v5.3, in case this makes a difference (FYI. . .I am aware that in P3d v5.3 the radar does not work, I believe, in either model, courtesy of Lockheed Martin and its EA). Thanks guys.

Unfortunately depth map access in P3D is partial meaning the standard AO filters or any other filter that relies on a depth map cannot at present be used. Probably relates to the engine design given LM haven't added AO as yet, that said it should be possible as I used AO filters in Flight Sim World successfully. The shader tool used is Reshade and the filter is the AstrayFX\Depth Cues with the No Depth Map option enabled. Remember that long-awaited LNAV update that was finally going to fix PMDG LNAV on all planes? All PMDG planes are still using some awkward old nav code from the early 2000s that doesn't do ARINC424 leg types correctly, you've probably noticed when trying to fly DME arcs or RNP approaches. You know, the update that Randazzo has twice said "has been given to the 747 testers and we'll roll it out as soon as we get good feedback"? To the whole P3D product line. Yeah, that one's not coming to P3D anymore. They've claimed back in late 2021 that it's in testing if I recall correctly, and again this year. And that they'd port it over to MSFS after. Well...

Just curious about your thoughts on this weather program, FS Global Real Weather. I usually use Active Sky for P3d, but in the last week or so I've been using the P3d 5.2 version of GRW. I like it and the weather seems relatively accurate. Not sure of how heavily it affects the performance of P3d, versus Active Sky, but I have had no problems with it, and absolutely no crashes or memory shortages. I like the way the clouds are depicted and I don't seem to have anything to complain about. At the moment I use Chase Plane to adjust brightness in P3Dv5. There are dedicated Shaders programs, RD and Toga, being two I know of. What is the feeling about using these programs? Are they worth the money vis-a-vis the results? Ian

Hi, I am wondering what you would consider a good quality Japanese airport to purchase for P3D v5? I currently have DD's Narita and Technobrain's Haneda and am considering another Technobrain purchase given there is a 60% sale on right now at Simmarket for their products. What would be a good addition and why? Except Technobrain has anyone tried any other Japanese airports from another developer ? I would be interested in hearing your opinions and recommendations. Recently, I downloaded the ORBX NA Northern and Southern CA products and noticed large patches of black terrain with with orange lines going across in some areas, particularly around LA. I use P3D v5.3. I tried getting assistance in the ORBX forum but the solution given won't work. Did anyone experience this issue and is there a a solution that works? Except for the ORBX LC, Vector and TerraFlora V2, I have no other third-party textures or even scenery/airports loaded in that area. I ended up uninstalling both ORBX NA Southern and Northern CA products because of this issue but am willing to reinstall both if there's a solution. Thanks!

Hi: I'm using my Thrustmaster Airbus sidestick "twist" as a tiller. For someone reason, airplanes keep pulling slightly to the left. I've checked the calibrations numerous times both in the sim and through its own software. In FSUIPC, I have the twist set as "Send to FS as normal axis" as directed by FSUIPC DEV because of conflicts between different airplanes. In P3Dv5.3, the axis is set to "Axis Steering Set". In P3Dv5, I have sensitivity 20 and null 20. Any help, thanks!
