July 7, 20223 yr Hello i have P3D withn GTN 750 From Flight1 and Xplane11 with Reality XP GTN 750 after i install it to Xplane 11 as i was trying to make a flight in P3D i get a TAWS Fail i think something is wrong with XP i don't know Can you Help me please? Kind Regards
July 7, 20223 yr They both use the Garmin trainer software, but I think the RXP version now uses a newer trainer that may not be compatible with the F1 product (which is no longer being supported/updated). If you don't have two separate installs of the Garmin trainer on your machine now, the RXP product probably invoked the garmin installer, which replaced/overwrote the older version used by the F1 gauge. I'm pretty sure there is a way to keep separate parallel installs...check the RealityXP forums here and/or ask Jean-Luc about it there. Thats Sucks because if i can not find any solution i must delete RXP i think and the Trainer and the 1 week before i tried to do that all the time when i was trying to install the tarainer it was telling me that i have already a newer version and everything was uninstalled, and then i make a format...and now here we go again!!!!
July 7, 20223 yr The correct spot for your issue is here: https://www.avsim.com/forums/forum/823-rxp-gtn-750650-touch/ Honestly, your best bet is probably to spend the $35 and replace the now-abandoned F1 gauge with the RealityXP gauge for P3D, which is still being supported/updated and uses the same trainer versions as the XP gauge. At some point you're probably going to want/need to do that to get a newer database into the GTN anyway. I held on to the F1 gauges for as long as I could, mostly because I had some legacy add-ons like the RealAir Duke that had native integration for the F1 versions. Switching to the RXP versions turned out to be relatively easy following the guidance in the support forum threads. July 7, 20223 yr I second that. I have just made the switch with the GTN750, and it works seamlessly. Load up the aircraft, close the F1 gauge's error message, use the utility in the add-on menu to replace the gauges with those from RXP (VC gauges without a bezel), at let the utility edit the panel.cfg and reload the aircraft - easy. I will probably switch over to RXP's other Garmin gauges eventually.
