This topic is meant to be not as technical as the other similar one that is pinned. These are for those of us with more basic skills and prefer something as close to off-shelf as possible. So here are a couple to start with. I'm not going to review these, just mention whatever I find interesting (good or horrible) as briefly as possible. I'm trying to identify a scenery that causes a slowdown in loading scenery. Any suggestions?

Since it’s release I haven’t heard a peep on this new program that rolled out. Any users? I’m just going to assume it’s trash if nobody is talking about it. As soon as I saw voice recognition I was already turned away by it but I’m not sure if it’s just voice recognition or if you can use it the traditional way. Either way it doesn’t appear that the sim community is excited about it lol

I'm at a cross roads and I really need some experienced advice in respect of hardware interface and Prosim (or something else). Im on a journey to build a full size 737-800 flightdeck. Plan is to produce as much of the hardware myself as I can and interface it with P3D using predominantly arduinos and Mobiflight. Prosim seems to be a popular route, although my original intention was to use the offsets available in PMDG and fsuipc. I'm worried that the range of offsets available with this option will not give me the ability to programme every function (eg FMC) However Prosim clearly does it all but with support it's near enough £2k. As soon as ATC stars, sound of P3D goes down to minimum. What is causing this problem? or how can I stop the ATC?

Hi Guys, Just started to get this issue at MK Studios LPPT since the lastest GSX update,all was ok prior to that.only happens at LPPT.As soon as i select the jetway with GSX all jetways disappear with the message,all active jetways stopped due to main module (exe) reset disconnection (N-1).I have reinstalled GSX,SODE and the airport itself but still the issue remains.Wonder if any P3Dv5 wizards out there know how to correct it,before i post on GSX MK Studios forums.As i said this only happens at LPPT all other payware airports are fine. Hello, I am running into a recent issue to where my P3D won’t go any further than 79%. I am running AIG AI but I’ve been using the program for over a year with no issues so I can’t see it being a problem now. I tried to delete my shaders but no luck there. Besides completely erasing all of my hard work with 3rd party add-ons and starting fresh, any suggestions on how to rectify this issue? Thanks!

hello guys, my name is davide, I have always used the FSLabs airbus but in these days I have been encountering some annoying problems. when I load the aircraft in the default airport at the p3d opening everythink is fine. but when I change the airport (any airport in the world) the flight warning sistem inizialization don't start, and the cockpit it's completely dead. Hello all, in V5.3, I am having an issue to where anytime a window pops up, like ATC for instance my sim momentarily pauses for a split second. My frames are awesome on my sim I can maintain a constant 60fps In most situations so it’s not a hardware issue. When I had P3Dv4 I wasn’t having this issue tbh. I am in full screen mode. Does anyone else experience this? I am running the latest Nvidia driver but it’s been several drivers since V5 came out so I doubt it’s a driver issue. It’s more of an annoyance if im just being completely honest so I don’t care if it ever gets resolved but im hoping that someone maybe knows how to get rid of it!

Hey all, I saw a YouTube video of a user doing a time lapse spotting video at flightbeam KIAD and the ai planes were being pushed back via a tug, I’ve never seen that before, is there a setting in p3d to see this??

Hi All... I'm on P3dv5.3 and am trying to get some AI arriving and departing on the US only aifields that I frequent. I bought Traffic Global 2 years ago.....and have NEVER been ablre to figure it out....the Product Manual is totally worthless...at least for me. I tried AIG...but got lost with its tutorial....so now I have really no AI coming or going. I think the Traffic Global is laid out for flyers that have a super grasp at how to use their UI...but its all mumbled for me. As well as for AIG....guess my comprehension level has dropped since turning 77. If there is anybody successfully using either programme can help me 'by the numbers' I …

I have a recent anomaly (problem is too strong). When I start my P3d v5.3 the colours outside the cockpit are glaring and washed out (not auto -exposure). If I go out of the screen to Options, for example and then back the colours revert to what I set them to be. Could it be a shader problem. Do I perhaps need to delete shaders and HLSL shaders as well? Ian

So I thought I’d ask here since AIG never responds to my questions on their forums but I have AIG for my traffic so all of the airlines and GA are accurate. The only thing that bugs the heck out of me is incorrect parking. I have loads of payware airports from SXAD to orbx, and LatinVFR etc. at least 40 separate airports. AT LEAST. So I only fly in and out of payware airports. You would think that you get what you pay for, and some of these add-ons aren’t cheap. So I can’t for the life of my figure out what is the issue with incorrect parking. Is it the airport or the AI program? And it’s mainly my turboprop traffic. The Dash 8’s never park at the gates! Hi everyone, I have been tinkering with V5 (still fly V4) to install EZdok for V5 but I corrupted my exe.xml file. Can someone kindly paste a copy of a default P3Dv5 exe.xml. I have no other addons currently that should launch at startup. Thank you in advance. Bob

Today, windows installed a regular update and a security update. After, I found I needed to reset ALL my sound settings in P3D and default settings in windows. So if your having trouble with hearing your aircraft or ATC, this might be why.

I installed it and did not encounter the light sources display flashing black boxes problem I had with the previous driver.

Dear all Maybe you can help me out. I get a strange problem in the Hong Kong vicinity on P3Dv4.5 I noramly use WFSS VHHH and all ORBX stuff. I here deactivated VHHH to see the stock scenery but the issue remains. I got sometimes same issues but after setting Mesh Resolution from 5m to 1m they were fixed but not in this case. Any ideas? I am wishfully hoping the system my son is passing on to me will be able to run P3Dv4.5 and PMDG 737NGu without being a slideshow. Anyone with first hand knowledge, your input will be greatly appreciated. Note: I have been doing a lot of reading and don't know 100% for certain, so I am inquiring herein. I have P3Dv3 & v4.3 on my old desktop that has a corrupt C drive. My flightsim installs are on a separate 1tb hard drive with 4 partitioned drives assigned. I don't know how much in the my documents p3d subfolders of the c drive will be salvageable, so I anticipate complete reinstalls of all (a multitude!) of my collected addons (a/c & scenery). …
