There was a time when 12 GB of GFX card memory was considered such a huge amount that it could never be used. Indeed I thought I'd never manage to max it all out yet that's just what's happened. Better start putting the $$ aside for the new 4000 series NVidia cards 😉 Cheers

Who can point to what to change in aircraft.cfg for the Aircraft to roll on idle? As lowcost do, taxi on one engine. Or maybe it is in the air file? THNX

So this is a question mostly directed at developers for all of the flight sim platforms. How hard is it to go back and revise runway or taxiway markings at airports you have already published? I remember I inquired about getting KIDA fixed from orbx and apparently because of licensing reasons they could not go back and change the runway heading. I was confused because I thought since the technical side of the runway was already taken care of, a simple “painting over” the runway markings to the correct heading would take all of 5 minutes to do and release an update. Hello guys! I recently reinstalled my P3D v5.3 and now I'm having trouble with FS Labs VC lights at night when I'm on ground at airports with Dynamic Lights enabled. Depending on the camera angle the dome and flood lights disappear, while taxiing the exterior lights (landing, taxi rwy turnoff lights) also disappear. Does anyone knows a solution for this? Thanks

I have around 500 payware airports, the sim was starting in a steady pace and normal time, but now i switch more and more airports from scenery.cfg entries to add-on.xml system, and I noticed that p3d5 takes longer to fire up. Longer and longer. Maybe if the scenery has only one internal folder it is prudent to keep it as a scenery.cfg entry?

I was excited when Imaginesim released their Rendition of WSSS, but given the flood of negative comments that came in its wake, I held off. I did get their KATL at some point, and while initially I had some issues with it, since the last update I feel this has matured into a really great addon that I like very much. And so I was wondering how WSSS is? WithTaxi2Gate releasing their newest VHHH, I have a strongly renewed interest in flying in Asia, and would like to revisit buying Imaginesim WSSS, if it has improved since it’s release. Anybody can spare any opinions?

I installed the latest update for Prepar3D and in the process somehow managed to loose absolutely all of my scenery files and their backups. So I have found my favourite one (Napier, as in the title) and downloaded it but the "ReadMe" file says that it needs Vector Land Class New Zealand and certain Static Object Libraries to work. Someone gave me a link to the VLCNZ.zip but when I tried to install it there was a message saying that it was unable to proceed because it couldn't find the installation Path of P3Dv2/3 in the registry. Hi, When I launch P3D v5, Options > Key Assignments> Controller it has a drop down that is always at Mouse Drag Pan. My controller is there at the bottom, Saitek x52 ProFlight controller, but when I select it, it won't "stick" and reverts to mouse etc. Can I make my Saitek the default?

Hi everyone. it’s a fact that P3D original runway lights suck (they float, they pop up, they look ugly…). I wonder why a comercial developer hasn’t come up with something like the amazing AFLT tool yet (http://stuff4fs.com/newpage.asp?JS=True&Folder=AFLT). For those not familiar with it, it injects runway and taxi lights into the sim. Unfortunately the developer stoped updating it due to heath issues … The tool is fantastic, and I can’t help but wonder why hasn’t any developer picked up on this yet, since this is a major issue since the FSX days … Cheers Eduardo

I haven't installed it myself, but I'm seeing a lot of complaints - FSDT says it's because users are stupid (my polite and short interpretation). Looks like Umberto in his normal stage of arrogance/denial, A have a few questions through. 1) Does it finally work without crashing sim/scenarios? 2) Did they destroy FSLabs config or not? 3) Do I have to fully uninstall and then reinstall with Live Update applied afterward. 4) Is it worth to update for P3D at all? For my fellow p3d v 5.3 pilots, from blind client Ron Kolesar. For some weird reason when I go to launch p3d v 5.3. I kep receiving that p3d cannot run without a valid sceenory. Then I get the aboart option. Now I just tried to install p3d once again and launched it, and I still have the above error message. Now, I make sure that it is complete out of my computer before installing the program, even down in the documents folder and also under appdata and from my c drive. I can install the program, I can plug in my unlock info. But as soon as I go to launch it from run as administrator, I get the above error message. Can anyone help me out…

Yes. It's my birthday. October 5th. I was kind of hoping that when I arrived at this forum that there would be a serious update to my beloved P3d. Don't get me wrong, I am having ZERO problems with P3dv5.3. However, I look forward to a significant advance to the sim (as probably everyone does). Perhaps a perfection of EA, or an advancement of scenery, or the addition of something that contributes to the overall experience of the sim. P3d is my preferred sim, even though I occasionally fly MSFS GA aircraft and almost exclusively fly VFR. I do long flights and mostly IFR in P3d. Oh well, no birthday present this morning. Who knows, I have a feeling something…

I am having a problem when using slew mode with any aircraft Often the aircraft sets of forward at a high speed as soon as I enter slew mode. I think I have narrowed it down to my Thrustmaster Throttle as being the cause as if I unplug it all is ok. Obviously, I am not willing to unplug my throttle in normal use P3D4.5 Any Ideas ?

Hi, I love DC-10s and I desperately need one for P3D v5, but I was unable to find one other than Just Flight DC-10, but it says it's only compatible with P3D v3 and previous versions. As some old P3D aircraft work on newer versions of P3D, I'm still kinda hopeful. But I still don't want to risk $40 for it, so I've decided to ask beforehand. Does JF DC-10 work on P3D v5? Hi all, Using P3D V5 with the PMDG 777 and Active Sky ( All latest versions ) I haven't noticed this before, but during today's flight there were some thunderstorms around and while flying i keep seeing these black boxes flash on the screen. Has anybody else had this? I don't recall seeing anybody mention it. I have EA on, Trying to see if there is a fix or if this is a P3D thing. Many thanks,

After the GSX P3D gone wrong update fiasco I have been getting this elevation problems at Denver. Anyone has any suggestion? I am looking for a possible duplicate AFCAD on my system but I can't find one.

I am experiencing silent crashes in g2d.dll. I was wondering which of client/content/scenery installs restores this dll. I think that became corrupt on its own (located on SSD) due to a nefarious bit flip.

If I taxi on to a gate with no jetways and ask for stairs, I always get 3 sets of stairs attach to the aircraft (in 787 and 777). Realistically this doesn’t happen. Is there any way to reduce the number of stairs offered?

I've just booted up P3D5 and all of my AIG traffic has disappeared...it's been working for years and suddenly, gone! Can anyone help? Anyone able to install said scenery into V5.3? It installs, but when I run it scenery 137(?) is missing. Any help would be appreciated

Hey all, I don't know if this was posted before, I couldn't find anything (apologies if it's a duplicate): simMarket: ANTONOV AN-225 MRIYA FOR P3D4.4-5 It does look good, seems "study level" and I don't think there's a better model in other sims. Price isn't bad either. I'm tempted to buy it myself over the weekend, however, I'm not familiar with the developer (FlyFreeStd). Any references?. Thanks!

I am running out of space on my primary drive for my P3Dv4 installation. Is there an easy way for me to copy it to my HDD drive? Remember, I am a computer dunce. I have Windows 10. Noel
