I’ve been looking for Hawaii scenery for p3dv5. I see a Simviation version that looks quite good, but reviews suggest installation difficulty. It’s free, and pics of it look extremely realistic. Other versions seem to go back a few years and do not mention p3dv5. Hopefully, my fellow simmers here might have some suggestions for this beautiful topography in the state of Hawaii. Stan

I see Pointsoft have released their latest version of Pro-ATC/x now with speech recognition. Called Pro-ATC/SR. I'll give it a go anyway seeing as I'm used to their earlier version(s), just hope it's better supported this time. See here.

Hi, I have the base Captain Sim 737-300 and it has a different autopilot panel to the one in the manual. it looks more complex. I can't find any instructions on it's use and CS don't reply. Any help would be appreciated. John

Hey all, I need a 757 for P3D, it's by far by favorite transport category aircraft. I had the Quality wings version, but all it did was constantly overspeed and the throttles wouldn't decrease thrust until way after reaching an altitude restriction. If possible, can someone tell me if this has been fixed or if there is a fix for this? Qualitywings support is abysmal. I'm using a Goflight TQ6 with a registered FSUIPC copy if that helps. I'm interested in the Captain Sim version as well, and while I understand it isn't PMDG or FSL quality, is this going to have all of the essential systems functioning correctly (including vnav) and does it have realistic flight …

hey guys I need some help with connecting activesky with prepar3dv5 I just bought it today and I did a fresh reinstall of both prepar3dv5 and activesky. I downloaded the connector and I have active sky enabled in add-on in prepar3dv5. but the activesky does not connect with prepar3d even when I launch can anyone help with this?

I'm thinking of buying this, but would like to ask the community first. If anyone knows, does PRO ATC/X support the CRJ 700/900? Also, how is the co pilot feature in this?

Am I the only one finding vehicles crossing the runway at LHR with no road? only noticed last month. P3d v5 plus Orbx England

Today I installed this new driver and some transparent textures have black boxes now (blinking lights on radio towers) and waterspray at waterfall has white boxes. Deleting shaders had no effect. Any other ideas? Dan

Just a heads up Guys,i have never had a CTD for well over 6 months with P3Dv5,until this evening,dont know if its related (probably not) but the only thing i have changed on my PC is to update the Nvidia Driver to 516.94,nothing showed in the event viewer. Gary Jones.

I seem to remember I had a fairly servicable freeware version of Lukla airport in FSX. Somehow when I migrated to P3D I lost it. I have downloaded several Lukla freewares. One is fabiusone version 1.0, one is just called Lukla scenery, and one is a French version by G. Guichard. None of them look like the one I remember. Does anyone have a suggestion for a nominal Lukla?

I know this is an issue that has been brought up before, but it didn't seem like anyone stated whether there is a solution. It revolves around the terrain being overly reflective (almost looking like it's covered in smooth ice). In the screenshot, you can see how incredibly obvious it is with the terrain looking like a smooth surface with the autogen sticking out like a sore thumb. This is with DETAIL_TEXTURE=1 in the .cfg file, but as far as I understand, this is irrelevant regarding this issue. The screenshot is taken with EA on, but EA off produced a similar result. In P3Dv5.3 HF2, in the airport_objects.bgl file, there appears to be broken textures for air_staticplanes01.mdl through air_staticplanes04.mdl. This was previously working in V4 for these models. Would anyone happen to know a fix or workaround for repairing these textures? While installing a newer version of FSUIPC the installer said it found both P3D v4 and P3D v5 on my computer. I am now currently using P3D v5.3 and I had no idea I still had v4 files on my computer. I searched my computer for anything with P3D v4 but could find anything (I probably didn't search very good). Where would old P3D v4 files be hiding?

Hi, After my SSD broke, I had to completely reinstall everything. Since I want to do something optically, I'm thinking about what I'm going to do. I used to always have TOGA products installed (ENVHSADE , ENVTEX ) I really liked the look of it. but when I wanted to test RDShade back then and it is not compatible with TOGA, I wanted to delete ENVTEX and ENVSHADE... But that didn't work back then.. It just wasn't possible to delete.. so I left it with RDShade. Now that I've reinstalled P3D V5.3, I'm finding it difficult to reinstall TOGA products. There is practically no more support, and the forum is also dead. Then if HF or V5.4 sho…

As you can see in this screenshot, my Taxi2Gate Doha is missing some kind of objects in the middle there, as well as every single lamp pole responsible for a light. I have tried reinstalling it, i'm fairly sure the scenery order is correct as well. Settings issue or am i just an unlucky guy?

Lockheed XFV-1_v1 available on Flightsim.com. For FSX but i think work fine in P3D 4.5. File: zue_xfv1_v1. Use the sound from the standard B350 but i have now a new sound link to my carenado B350. Enjoy. Regards Julio Garcia

Hi, I installed KCRP from SXAIRPORTDESIGN today. as soon as I load the airport I get CTD .. that only occurs in KCRP. since the airport is not important to me, I immediately uninstalled it. Unfortunately I still have this problem when I want to load KCRP default. I deleted all files from SXAIRPORTDESIGN from KCRP... in addons, sode and effects files in P3D folder. still P3D keeps crashing... Hi I have a problem with the FMC on the PMDG B737 NGXu plane that does not pick up airports at all, and keeps telling me ""not in data base"" Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi all! I’m using SunSkyJet KPHL + Alpine Simulations Philadelphia CityScape and am experiencing some overlapping issues with textures and buildings. Does anyone know which BGL’s to remove from SSJ PHL to remove the city buildings? As the title says just update the GTN750 to v1.24 and all is good. Not sure if it will work for the next Hotfix for the airport lights always on issue but we will see.

I bought a few Orbx sceneries and now P3D is asking me to enable the sceneries every time I start P3D. I bought ENTO, Pilot Plus Bristol, MKStudio Donegal, and Split Croatia. The install went fine, scenery is working good in the sim. Is this happening with anyone else? I have other Orbx products and P3D doesn't ask me to enable the other ORBX stuff I have all the time.

Hi, everyone? Tried adding gauges to an aircraft I was working on. gauges don't parse in p3d. Tried contacting developers of gauges to see what's causing this. So I know some people have had success using Taxi2Gate FSX KMCO in P3D v4.4, I installed it today, and it works fine as far as I can tell. I was wondering if any other Taxi2Gate FSX scenery's are known to be working in v4.4...?? More specifically, i'm interested in KSTL St. Louis, does anyone know if this one is working in P3D v4.4..?? So I installed ASP3D as an update to my "Active Sky for P3Dv4" on the weekend and noticed my aircraft I had configured with the AS WX gauge to pop open on a key press, were no longer working. And a read of the docs showed the AS crew had depreciated adding the gauge via the panel.cfg 😞 Instead the gauge was being made available for all aircraft as a menu item and the ASP3D add-on.xml includes a gauges path. Pro: available for all aircraft. Con: no longer just a button push away. But turns out there is a way to add back to the panel config, as the menu item is added via the missionpanels.cfg located in the ActiveSkyP4 (or P5) folder. I …
