Hi all. I was wondering as there is somewhat of a lack of freeware available for P3D, I thought I'd try to convert Ray Smith's excellent scenery for P3D V5 for private use only as I understand he doesn't want any such conversions being made public. Now, I understand that the taxiways need to be converted via ADE and that is relatively easy, where I get stuck on is converting the library objects. I can't really see a way to go forward, and the various recommendations and discussions seem a bit confusing at best. One definition or sign of madness is repeating an operation or action over and over again, expecting a different outcome, despite all evidence to the contrary. (I am not a psychiatrist or therapist. This is only my layman's understanding) The point I am trying to make is that almost every day I log onto this or other P3D websites, including LM's, waiting for an announcement or even a hint about P3D v6. I wanted to get a better version of Nashville, TN, than the default, so I bought the Simmarket version of KBNA today. For the life of me, I can't get it to work in P3dv5. I'm not a novice at this; I've downloaded many sceneries and installed them successfully. I also use Lorby's Addon app successfully when necessary. The download wants to install it in P3dv5 but places it in the P3dv5 addons folder. That's fine, and it installs KBNA_HP_P3Dv5, and KBNA_LP_P3Dv5 folders with subfolders. However, when I go to the airport I see RED X's at all gates, and there are no Jetways. Just RED X's where planes are supposed to park. I've tried adding it through Lorby's, and I…

Hi I can't install the lear. Got a msg how to do it but i have a store MSFS2020 and not a Steam. So got the info how to do this but this isn't working for me. Hi, Its being a while since flying in P3dv5 and i noticed the sounds in VC is being dimmed with FSLA320/GSX (toggling Q restore it for a second) . Latest driver in between though. What should i be looking for ? Thanks Michael Moe

Hi all- Finally got FSGlobal installed, up and running. Everything went fine. Knowing nothing about mesh, I was wondering what occurs, if anything when, two mesh files are simultaneously installed and activated. For example, in my scenery layers for ORBXTrueEarth NorCal, the is a CVX_mesh file which I assume to be custom work for that package. Way farther down in the scenery library resides FSGlobal mesh, activated as well. Does P3DV5 rely on layer order, LOD or something else for display? Which overrides which, if in fact this even happens? Thanks! Mark

I've just added an I9 10900 to an Asus Z590 with 3 M.2 ports. I'm currently running P3d on an M.2 with 250GB....and wondering if I should move it to a PCIE Adapter wii it increase anything...speed loading;better fraps;sharper scenery ???? Thanks for any advice Skip d

Morning all- Finally got all the files downloaded, including the install instructions. After opening the instructions, they are for a FSW jet. No idea why. Simarket says contact the dev. Dev on the road and won't be home for 24hrs. So, can anyone send me them so I call install this? Thanks, Mark

As per @threegreen's post over on the MSFS sub-fourms, TFDi has announced their pricing for the MD-11. Source: https://tfdidesign.com/md11.php I find the MD-11 base pack's 50% price increase over the 717 to be quite punchy, especially as there's a further $30 to pay for the variant expansion and extra simulation packs to complete the set. I'll wait for the reviews to see if I want to go for it.

As I understand because of lack any products or updates Imaginesim is out. Singapore's runway 3 in the other side of the new terminal construction is very much in use especially now with T4 back in operations. Is there any way we can get an update for the runway? Maybe unofficial, homenade

Hi! I'm having this issue w/ my FlyTampa EHAM add-on where I spawn on the default texture which is under the add-on texture. I remember before I had this issue I solved it but I don't remember how, and I had to do a clean reinstall of P3Dv4 and now I'm stuck here. Help?

Hi All, Maybe someone can help me. I recently updated GSX after it finally started working properly but now I have a problem with the scenery. The default airport scenery and addon scenery are visible together and the system uses the default scenery AFCAD. Everything was fine until I updated GSX and then this problem occurred. I am using Prepar3d 4.5 and the two airports so far are ImagineSims Singapore and MFSG Darwin. Has anyone else had this problem and what should I do to resolve the issue. Hi, This is probably a basic question but I was used to getting this via the radar contact UI up until now 🙂 What is the easiest way to get airport ATIS and ILS info for an airport while in flight? I'm not subscribed to navigraph charts...

PRO ATC SR asked me to tune Paris De Gaulle approach on 140.57 (or something like that). I can't get the radio to tune above 136. Is there an option I need to change in the A320 or in P3d?

I am trying to make the beam of the light more far from the aircraft. But I can't understand which parameter to change. It took me a while by try and try to make the light brighter, but i need it be longer (see screen from the flight panel), so it illuminates more ground forward. Hi all I just got a new flight sim PC I also have the honeycomb alpha and bravo controllers. The Honeycomb kit is working fine in MSFS 2020. Also all the buttons work in win 10 control panel. However for the life of me, I cant get the view panning to work in P3D V5. I can assign it in the sim and it reports that pan is assigned to the hat switch BUT in the cockpit nothing happens. I am also using chase plane I cant find any reference to chase plane needing any thing special with panning views If some one could point me in the correct direction as to what I may be doing wrong it would be appreciated PS I have downloaded and installed the softw…

Hello all! I finally got the exilerating chance to hear all 12 engines of the Blue Angels team blast full military power over my head just a few days ago. Naturally, I now have F/A-18 fever! (And the need for speed 😎) I want to find a study-level F/A-18 for P3Dv5. The two candidates I see so far are DC Designs and VRS Superbug. So far, I'm more sold towards the VRS, but I want your opinions first in case DC Designs (or anyone else for that matter) would be a better fit in the end. Thanks!

Hello everyone, after a while of saving money from my scholarship, i decided to buy a new add-on for my sims, I saw Sim Skunk Works' products and they impressed me a lot! But instead of choosing one of them (cuz my money was not enough for both), i got an idea, i saw they released some of their products for free for P3Dv5, so i thought if i buy v5 i can use both of their aircraft. I am already able to run P3Dv4.5 on my computer flawlessly with several add-ons and my computer is enough for the minimums of v5, i checked before buying it. But everytime when i try to run v5, it stuck like in the screenshot that i attached below. I tried every solution suggested on the net but…

Hi Friends i need Help. Time yesterday strate and end P3D 4.5 very slow. Breaks a lot of time. Maybe this has to do with the windows update KB890830??? I must say that I have installed many addons. I am looking for a solution without having to reinstall P3D. The effort would be very large. I have Avira free antivirus installed...but had no problems with it. Is it possible to determine what or what tool P3D swing to start so slowly? Windows 7 SP2 Professional (I know it is no longer supported by microsoft but I stick with it). Well, ORBX finally admitted that their promised openLC for Asia is no longer in development. The single developer apparently is located in Ukraine, so it is understandable that he is no longer able to continue work on the project. Of course, I wish him all the best under the circumstances. It is unfortunate that ORBX announced 2 years ago that they were working on the project and that it would be split into 3 phases, and they didn't even manage to complete the first phase. They refused for many months to provide even a brief update on its progress, and when they finally did they stated that the developer had resumed work on it. Then they again refused to …

Hi As I‘m desperately hoping for a Geneva release for P3Dv4, I‘m now wondering if the new released scenery on simmarket for v5 could work in v4? Do you have any experiences in backward compatibility or maybe is here anyone who has v5 and v4 installed and can test it or tell me if the LSGG altitude in v5 is the same as in v4?
