I posted this on a P3D Forum, but no answers. I hope this is the right place. I'm new to P3Dv4 and trying to learn as I go. I have a question about some Scenery I installed. First, I probably should tell you that I am installing all scenery and aircraft in my D Drive. I recently installed A new 512gb HD, so you can see the reason for trying to get everything I can on my 2tb hard drive. Anyhow, I did a lot of reading about how to install scenery, and decided I would try to use the Lordy P3D add-on organizer. It all went pretty smooth, but after seeing all the static airplanes at the gates, I decided to uninstall and see if I could, somehow, keep them from install…

It's such an exciting week...the stockings are hung with care over the fireplace, and the tree is shining brightly. Christmas songs are being heard in the background, and my anticipation is growing more and more every single day. I don't know if the present I REALLY want will appear on my computer screen Christmas day, but, I'm sure hoping it will be there.. I'm looking forward to a special gift from Lockheed Martin. It would be so wonderful to receive that gift because there will be much relaxing, leisure time after Christmas, and the timing couldn't be better for that special BIG DOWNLOAD (if you know what I mean). Hi, Any recommendations on this app? I see from the requirements it works with pilot2atc or vanilla. I don't use pilot2atc but only radar contact and FShud for offline ATC. Radar contact comes with many chat files already... Will it work well with those? Thanks!

Does anyone have the P3D v5 patch for Carenado aircraft to work in P3d have plane installed but the FMS just reads navdata loading and unable to do anything please help tried to download from carenado but the link is disabled

I am trying to get a grasp on this like most. I am trying to understand how to install addons outside of the root folder and make the proper changed in the cfg file. If anyone has done this thus far could you please post instructions. It would be very helpful. Thank you

I have MSFS installed and am coming back to P3D! I have a huge installation of a "aig-aitraffic-oci-beta" folder that I would like to reuse but I noticed for P3D the OCI installs to a folder "AIGAIM - OCI". Has anyone been able to get the contents from both the be shared between simulators? Edit: from this post it seems like it is not possible 😞

It's actually been out for for a while, however the link they provided was messed up, and has just very recently been fixed. It's available for download on their PC6 support forum. Cheers MV_PC6_v1.3.4_210820 Corrected some issues with MVAMS and CTD. WXR is still not working, there will be no update for that.

Sierrasim Simulations has just released a new rendition of MYNN, Lynden-Pindling Intl for P3Dv4-5. MYNN is the largest airport in the Bahamas located near the capital city of Nassau. Over 22 passenger airlines and five cargo airlines serve this airport daily. The airport is available at the Sierrasim Simulations page or other popular flight sim stores. Just wanted to recognize that some developers are still releasing products for P3D. Has anybody bought it? How is it?

I've had this problem ever since I can remember with p3d v5, I just don't fly much at night and now I'm on a mission to fix it. I have a 4K tv as a monitor, I don't think it's the sharers. I have these aircraft and removed the original 2d panel in each and replaced it, They all fly well and I'm not having any problems with them....except ... ATR-42 new panel-A321 Dornier new panel-CRJ 200 EMB-120-B737 panel HS748 new panel-MD80 Upon STARTUP.they all tend to want to idle rather high....like each one settles in at 68.1 on the N1 I think this is a little fast for moving around an arport !!! Does anybody know how to bring the idles down.....I'm stumped !!! Thanks for any help Skip

I've been flying the excellent Baytower RV7 for quite some time usually with the RXP GNS530 linked to the autopilot. Last night I was trying to fly VOR to VOR and I noticed the NAV select buttons on the audio panel would not stay engaged so I could not identify the VOR. Is there a fix or workaround for this? Failing that... How does the Orbx RV4 compare to the Baytower bird?

Please tell me, I can't add a frequency with the ending 15,25,55,75:/ rounded to 0 and that's it. For example, I try to insert 119.225, 119.220 is inserted. what is the problem? Version 1.4.0

Well it was good fun but time to move on. Today I removed and stored all my years of FSX/P3D sim data from my PC. I have moved over to XPlane12. Yes I will miss some models from XPlane but the benefits of the sim, its architecture and fidelity is now at a stage where to me it is the future of computer flight simulation. I had no issues with P3DV5 I thought it was excellent, never any problems ran smooth as silk and a very nice flight simming experience but I came to the view it had reached the end of the road development improvement wise as far as amateur or hobbyists were concerned. I am not sure we will see future versions that were so friendly or catered so well …

I have finally decided to try v5.3 since my somewhat better hand-me-down pc is running v4.5 + numerous addons so well. I did this previously on my old pc with v3 + v4. Problem is, I can't recall if there are any special procedures to take when installing FSUIPC6 in v5.3 since it is already installed in v4.5. I googled and searched the fsuipc forum but didn't get any hits. I believe it should be ok, there again memory seems clouded, and it should be a straight install without issues. I'll wait a few minutes to see if there are any replies before proceeding. Kindest regards & Happy holidays!

While checking an airport at night, I realised that no AI aircraft has the above lights while taxiing. Is this valid ? I mean, no such lights in P3Dv5.3 ?

Gents, I've found myself in a conundrum here, because I've been looking at getting the QW787 for a fair amount of time now, but never got round to it because of the consistent reports of flight-ending bugs related to nosedives and crashes. But in 2022, I would have hopefully imagined that those kind of bugs would have been ironed out by now, so my question is: Is the QW 787 worth 80 USD in 2022? Or should i just save my money for something else.

Bringing this to other simulator platform like P3D (or maybe even XP12) would be great news.

HI there, quick question, is it possible to change the date P3D identifies as "winter" (or any other season for that matter) thus uses the snow textures? Here in Mid-Europe, at least in the last few years, we haven't had real snow until maybe late January or February (#climatechange ;) ) .... It just feels strange flying over completely snow covered germany when it's 10deg Celcius in real life out there..... I know there is a threshold setting in the p3d.cfg for night texture time, so maybe there's one for seasons as well? Thanks for any help. Stu

Hello all, Has anybody gotten the lights working on the Razbam Metro in the latest version of P3D V5.3 ? Searching the forum here and elsewhere I've seen some comments that seemed to indicate that some people have found a work around, but no specifics in regard to what may be needed to be done to get them going. I've seen more posts saying that it simply can't be done. So which is correct - assuming that some have actually succeeded! The model is useable, as long as you're willing to pretend you've had a complete electrics failure :) Mark
